Do you have an autoimmune disease like Alopecia, Arthritis, MS, Celiac, Hashimoto's, Psoriasis, Grave's disease, Crohn's, Ulcerative colitis, Lupus, Type 1 diabetes, Myasthenia Gravis, Addison's, Endometriosis, Fibromyalgia or Chronic Lyme disease??
Do you have Leaky gut? Brain fog? Fatigue? IBS? Multiple food intolerances? Vague undiagnosed health issues?
The Paleo Autoimmune Protocol, aka AIP has proven potential to reduce or eliminate your symptoms!
I’m Stacey. I’m an ACE certified Health Coach and P.T. as well as a Certified AIP coach through Mickey Trescott and Angie Alt’s practitioner program.
I reversed all symptoms of celiac disease, leaky gut, & chronic fatigue with AIP. I have also suffered from alopecia, anxiety and brain fog which I controlled through diet and lifestyle changes. I feel better now in my 40’s than I ever have in my life!
I started AIP in November 2015 and have learned so much on my journey that I want to share with you! I do AIP without a dishwasher or oven (or microwave!) and on a budget with very little spare time. I truly believe that if I can do AIP then so can you and I want to show you how!
You should also find my channel helpful if you are on any type of clean eating, whole food based eating plan like the Wahl’s Protocol, Bulletproof Diet, Pegan, Plant Paradox, 21 Day Sugar Detox or Whole30.
I have since been able to reintroduce some nuts, seeds, seed- based spices, etc but I keep my RU-vid recipes 100% AIP elimination phase compliant!
Always work with your physician when making dietary changes that could affect current health conditions, medications, etc.

I really recommend becoming a Patron of Stacey’s. Her Patreon posts are helpful, funny, and real. When struggling day to day on what to eat I’m also always inspired with ideas watching her cook and by her grocery hauls!

Thanks for this video of what you eat in a day. Helps with meal ideas and seems you eat a lot of veggies and sea food and the papaya in salad(should try that) and the cheesy rice so much to eat. Thanks for the ideas. Thumbs up on not having too many snacks 👍

I'm so glad it was helpful to you! Yes, I try to always eat lots of veggies and seafood. I have been experimenting with papaya lately for an upcoming video so I've had lots of it around, lol- I've been tossing it in everything!

Stacy for the plantain rice can you boil them in the peel if you don’t have a pressure cooker?
@RealWorldAIP
@RealWorldAIP 5 лет назад
Yes, you can! Cut ends off and cut in half. Boil 25 minutes or until fork tender. They will pop out of skin! Make sure to rinse well to remove any possible pesticides.

I haven’t tried the carnivore diet. I don’t do well with low carbs and I would worry about my microbiome health. Everyone is different though.

you always call green onions "chives" hehe Grow some chives, you'll never forget (well maybe) =) Great video, nice ideas! I was wondering, have you ever had your vitamin D checked? My neurologist here in Germany tested mine because I have Hashimoto's (but he would for any autoimmune disorder). It's well-documented that people with autoimmune diseases have vitamin D deficiency because we can't assimilate it very well, even when we have "enough." I currently take 20,000 IU per day and it's helped a ton but I'm also going to see a specialist in the Coimbra Protocol, here in Germany. If you haven't heard of it, look it up. Coimbra started with Multiple Sclerosis patients but has since treated anyone with autoimmune disorders of any kind and totally put them into remission without major dietary changes. In fact, many of these people resolve their allergies and sensitivities through vitamin D therapy. I only brought it up because your intake of it, in your cronometer, is very low. They say we need 10,000 IU just to maintain, without healing.

LOL, so true, for some reason chives and green onions are interchangeable in my brain! Green grassy things that taste kind of oniony😆 I am gonna go over my supplement regimen in next Thursday's video. I have been taking vit D for a few years now because I noticed my diet was falling short and my blood tests were in normal range. I'm glad you mentioned it here though- it's really hard for most of us to get enough of it and it's an important vitamin to consider supplementing for anyone with autoimmune disease!
@PeaceOutWorld
@PeaceOutWorld 5 лет назад
@@RealWorldAIP ya, the "normal" range for vitamin D is wrong, so we can't use those ranges. If it falls in the current "normal" range, it's too low. Apparently it has to be off the charts high in order to have any healing effect. At least, for those with autoimmune disorders. I look forward to your video!

@@RealWorldAIP About the green onion vs. chives again - we grow both. We only have a huge balcony that we grow in containers, no land right now like we used to have. Chives are GREAT growing in containers and we don't even have to plant them every year - they come back on their own with no extra expense! We also use green onions we bought at the farmer's market, plant the white parts and they keep growing so we always have a supply when needed. Chives are much milder in flavor (but the flowers so beautiful, an all around cool plant to have), and the greens very slim compared to green onion. They're so prolific, you could grow just a couple plants and have more than you need. We used to grow a ton of tomatoes & peppers but I can't eat them now (maybe in the future, after I'm in remission), but we do grow a ton of things I can eat on AIP, just in our container balcony garden. I love to grow all our own herbs too. Chard, kale, cucumber, squash, sweet potato, stevia just to name a few.

@@PeaceOutWorld oh my goodness, I think I actually have chives growing in my jungle of a garden, lol! They get purple flowers on the ends that I throw into salads- so pretty!! I made an herbed AIP cream cheese with them last year with purple flecks in it. I tried my hand at growing veggies, but not so much luck there. I think the herbs are more forgiving, lol! I will have to try the chives side by side with the green onions😊

That is an awful lot of food for one meal! I don't know how you fit all of that in your stomach. I'm a hearty eater, but the salad alone would've filled me up.
@jai.cee.

I can easily eat that whole meal in one sitting. Veggies don’t fill my tummy up quickly. I’m a little like her - I like to sit and eat for a good 30 minutes. Helps me feel satiated :) and keeps me from snacking.

@@RealWorldAIP Hi Stacey, the food in this video looks amazing! Question - do you have digestive issues with so much fiber? I have been having sooo many issues with digestion so I have been limiting my fiber intake, but I miss my veggies! Any advice on how to deal with bloating when eating so much fiber?
@RealWorldAIP
@RealWorldAIP 5 лет назад
@@OlgaMoskatova I was bloated after that just from sheer volume of food, lol but in general if you are experiencing digestive issues from veggies and fiber you could look into a possible fodmap intolerance or SIBO.
