Forgot to add a couple of things. Firstly, whatever oil you choose, as long as you change it frequently, you're doing alright. Secondly, when comparing two oil brands that meet the same criteria, google its technical details and pick the oil with the highest TBN (Total Base Number).

Good to have you back! I still think you shoulda gone with davinci resolve though, does the same job for none of the cost. Was about to comment asking for the butter chicken recipe and then you ended up doing a full walkthrough! I would love a video on tyre pressure that's definitely a topic that seems to split a lot of people and one I'm always thinking about. The other one I find hard to fully understand is what tyres/rims are acceptable under the laws in australia. I'm in NSW and some people say throw hilux rims/wheels on the hiace and it's fine but then other places say no you can't do it, seems to be a lot of conflicting information and is yet another hole I need to now spend time looking into. I stupidly ended up with a 2wd hiace and it has about as much grip as a sports car on ice (I couldn't even reverse on a hill the other day without it stalling/spinning). So I'm trying to solve it by putting some weight in it and getting new tyres.

I did download and try Resolve. It was so different to what I'm used too. I spent a good 3 hours trying to just cut clips etc, eventually caved in. I remember my parents Hiace in NZ would get stuck on flat wet grass or spin wheels quite easily. I'll do the tyre video. Any wheel is legal provided it's within state size laws (not 19 inch or so) and they are load rated for the vans weight which the Hilux wheels are.

@@nathansharma87 Ah that's fair it's definitely quite different in the way it works. Yeah since purchasing I've been stuck in a number of locations, had to let the tyres down in one place just to get over a tiny hump and also have been stuck on a flat wet lawn but it's annoying to get stuck on actual bitumen dry roads with inclines. I heard stories but I didn't realise it was this bad. So if I go on gumtree and pick up a set of hilux rims and tyres it shouldn't be an issue?

Do you have the wheels? They should have a load rating stamped on them like 750kg or something. I can't remember what my old Hilux rims were or if it had the stamping but as per Australian design laws it must have a load stamping. My Hilux wheels were 6 stud yours would be 5, but given they both could weigh 2 tonne and carry 1 tonne and tow 1500-2500kg I'm assuming each rim would be at least 750kg, your van would easily be within that even at max load.
