I’m Stacey. I’m an ACE certified Health Coach and P.T. as well as a Certified AIP coach through Mickey Trescott and Angie Alt’s practitioner program.
I reversed all symptoms of celiac disease, leaky gut, & chronic fatigue with AIP. I have also suffered from alopecia, anxiety and brain fog which I controlled through diet and lifestyle changes. I feel better now in my 40’s than I ever have in my life!
I started AIP in November 2015 and have learned so much on my journey that I want to share with you! I do AIP without a dishwasher or oven (or microwave!) and on a budget with very little spare time. I truly believe that if I can do AIP then so can you and I want to show you how!
You should also find my channel helpful if you are on any type of clean eating, whole food based eating plan like the Wahl’s Protocol, Bulletproof Diet, Pegan, Plant Paradox or Whole30.
I have since been able to reintroduce some nuts, seeds, seed- based spices, etc but I keep my RU-vid recipes 100% AIP elimination phase compliant!

Thank you Stacey. I was AIP for a few months and so disappointed with eating the same boring things over and over. I’m finally starting to feel some healing and have the energy to make new things. Your channel has brought me so much inspiration and changed my mindset for AIP. You are a food magician and I don’t miss anything anymore. Never stop please!

I LOVE that you use ingredients that I can find in a local store! I've searched high and low for AIP recipes with normal, store accessible ingredients and they are hard to find. Best of all, your recipes aren't overly complicated and take hours to make. Win! I am so glad someone in my AIP facebook group linked to your videos.

Thank you Stacy for your videos! You are truly helping me with implementation of AIP. I even started using chronometer. I am curious as to what nutrient settings you recommend, are you using the levels that come with chronometer (I think that’s RDA) or do you customize them to some functional medicine levels? I know Sarah Ballentyne recommends 50 g of fiber which must be a custom setting. Anything else to tweek?

I'm so glad my videos are helpful to you, thank you!😊 Try as I might, I personally have a heck of a time hitting 50g fiber! I am happy to go over 30g, usually I get about 35. I haven't really tweaked the Cronometer settings much, I just try to hit the RDA at minimum, but aim for much higher overall with most of the B vitamins. I set my fructose to 20g max and total carbs to 150g max, 75g minimum just because that's the range I feel best in. I do supplement with Vit D, K2, magnesium, calcium, vit e and corn-free C because that's where I was falling short often.

Hey Stacey! Do you have a recommendation for a good source of B vitamins? Food and/supplement? I’m losing all my hair in a flare and I’m feeling like I’m deficient in B vitamins. Thank you for your help and your videos!

How do you cover all the minerals? Like copper and such. Just listened to a talk by John Grey who mentioned that the mineral lithium is important for producing GABA. How do you test for minerals? Donna Gates of Body Ecology has some mineral drops that I love to add to my water. The mineral capsules are great to add to ferments. They are tasteless so I bet they would go great in the yogurt.

I track what I eat using Cronometer and it appears I'm meeting all of my mineral needs through my diet. Liver and shellfish are SO nutrient dense! I also get some trace minerals that Cronometer doesn't calculate from eating seaweed, pink salt, and lots of seafood.

Yeah...cassava flour was working for me but now it's not. No other flours work and I've tried coconut and tiger nut. Oh well. I have an appt with my 3rd naturopath, but she has digestive issues experience. Hope she can help me.

@@RealWorldAIP Well since I tested negative for SIBO and STILL had symptoms (which are getting worse), we aren't going down that road but the road we ARE going down is quite thorough!!! She's very concerned that I'm reacting to so many foods. News at 11. LOL

I suffered from IBS since my early 20”s... so I know all about battling with gut health. I recently tested for celiac & luckily I was negative. Your channel is very helpful. Thank you.

Yeah, Vitamin e, c Calcium and Magnesium are my main struggles from the obvious to. I get enough zinc and I know where to get it from, but my both goes through it like nothing, so the general recommendation is just to low for me.

Yup! It’s the only soil based one I’ve been able to find. All her other supplements are AIP approved as well :)

As far as probiotics go, I did well with one brand of Sacc B, then the next brand it made me flare up. I found out that some probiotic strains can cause immune stimulation :O and was like....yayyyy! One more thing to add to the not-tolerated list! LOL

Right?!! They are tricky!! I am yeast intolerant. The S. boulardi made me bloat really really badly!! So badly...lol.

I took a probiotic with 100 cfus because the guy at the store said it’s what I needed since I have autoimmune. I took them for three days and was so sick. I said forget it. And threw them out. I am done with supplements.

@@Sirie7206 :-( They can be so frustrating when they make you feel worse instead of better. I eventually found out that I only do well with tiny amounts of food-based probiotics (yogurt, sauerkraut, kombucha, etc) but not the capsules.

@@primalsam I think I am the same way. I’m sticking to sauerkraut and yogurt. Hasn’t given me any problems.
