Very true most are not professional. The trainers don't look well-groomed at work the health club that I work at. wrinkled clothing and not in uniform. Hair looking crazy and eating on the floor while having a client. The turnover is bad, and their schedule is not booked out for the month or months onward. They have clients but lack accountability in showing up. It is a lonely road as a trainer when you're looking for that person to lean on for advice. So, I stick to myself, and my clients get in and get out.
U see people always care about quantity over quality. Ask yourself if you are worth the money that people pay u. I have been in the fitness industry for more than 2 decades. Professional trainer is the one that teach and reach results that their clients desire. Lot of people think that the moment they spend money they loose weights reality is u have to put the work. Nice video but this is more about asking that u learn in certification.
Like most of the other all but positive posts... Thank you, this is such great help for a newbie trainer like me. Much appreciated. More blessings ahead!
Thank you so much. I visited your forms. You are such a very hardworking trainer. You have a long way to go in this business. It’s very inspiring. Thank you so much. Now, I don’t need to beg gyms here in Honolulu to let me in as a neophyte fitness trainer. You have shared a lot and i’m so grateful….
Just subscribed to your channel. I’m currently shadowing as a personal training and what you present is useful information. All is left for me to do is apply them and get more hands on experience.
Hi Jeff, love your videos. So helpful. Could you go over the back side of your pricing sheet. Not sure I understand the roaming group concept. Thanks!!
Thanks! A roaming group is for groups where 1 or more person is absent from their normal group. Essentially, it allows the person or people in the group who want to come in for their session the opportunity to come in and pay a one-off rate that’s not part of their contracted package so everyone in the group maintains the same amount of sessions and one person doesn’t have to miss out because of another person.
Ur videos are so helpful .. thank u so much .. i hope u soon talking about ISSA cft .. bcuz im about to finish my exam and wanna kn more about it .. thnx again
You can certainly do their workout entirely seated. They’ll end up doing a decent amount of upper body work but that’s okay. Resistance bands work great for this, battle ropes, some dumbbell work. We talk about seated workouts in this video: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-1yd61hFyo4I.html
I hate lots of advice! Watching this would probably be a lot more helpful than any comment I could leave though: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-MP8CdF7kuJ4.html
Hey I need some help kinda lost so I just got hired for my first personal training job at LA fitness but I also have my strength and conditioning certificate and I wanna make some money from this certificate in the mean time while I’m remodeling my garage any suggestions?
You could always start training people in their homes. That’s how I started my own business. Those clients that you train in their homes will often be interested in training in a new local facility, your garage in this case, as well.
