So are blaze rods and coal, from a blaze or wither skeleton farm, both of which are much more plausible in the Nether :D

I was going to comment the exact same thing and I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought of it. It's rare when the off-hand is actually useful but there are certain situations where it really comes in... handy

I mean for transporting the animals, When you have a shorter amount of time for your boost it will cause you to not go as fast so you could transport animals using more then one firework.

Because people only know how to use more, not less. That is why there are people with Eff. V shovels, axes, and picks runniing around destroying everything.

They could always use the number of ingots it takes to make the item and the amount of durability left on it to determine how much nuggets it smelts into

Brandon Klassen gravity doesnt work that way in minecraft, its the same in all directions :I going up with a firework is just as fast as going sideways or down

Brandon Klassen btw when you are moving using the fireworks you only accelerate when taking off, and since the entity is not moving by itself but being pulled by the lead, the entity will not have the same acceleration since the lead acts as a rubber band, pulling the entity when it goes too far away... making it a higher acceleration than you started off with, which also means they will always have too great of a difference in speed, the lead just doesnt update fast enough... if you created a mob cannon to push the entity as fast as you are going it might work however the timing would have to be perfect with the acceleration being within a certain range to make sure the lead does not break and it would only be for a short period since the mob will sooner or later slow down making you travel not so far...

Because of this, using the equation for Ftotal, or Atotal, it is nearly impossible to miss the fact that (positive vertical meaning positive scale) the negative acceleration of gravity (-9.81m/s^2) would reduce the effects of a positive acceleration on the y axis (the acceleration caused by the firework). Firing positively on the Y axis is the only direction of all possible directions that would have this effect.

Smash you should get more nuggets in the fist place, I mean 1/9th of an iron ingot? why? It should depend on what you smelt, giving about half when at full durability and a quarter when almost broken. Eg. a shovel = 2 to 5 nuggets sword = 4 to 10 nuggets chest piece = 16 to 40 nuggets Otherwise smelting something will be for very desperate times, which you don't often face in minecraft.

I think you should get half the material present so boots are 4 ingots (36 nuggets) so you get 16 (2 ingots) And diamonds are a rock not a metal so you can't melt them :/ Only metals can be reformed unless you are able to replicate the pressure and heat of the magma under the earth in a 1 meter cubed furnace.

(sorry if this doesnt make any sense, im tired and cant write as good as normal)
