Love the #QueuedUpSAL plans: your WIPs, your kitted projects, the fabrics, the floss, the TEAL... Thanks for letting us spend some time with you (just finished watching both videos...)
@@DaybreakStitchery magnetic cord managers help if you use a hoop or other device. If stitch in hand...maybe a bag with a drawstring to hold excess fabric togetherish.
It was a fantastic summer Patti! Seems like ages ago now. We're getting our first snow right now! Hope this winter season is off to a good start for you! Any fun winter stitching plans?
@@DaybreakStitchery ha, yes it does seem like summer was ages ago. Thankfully the weather is still nice here in FL. I hope your winter isnt too brutal. I sure remember those days. My plans are enjoy fam & friends this season & keep this stitching. ❤
Ah thanks for tuning in! You'd love the Snake Alley criterium. We're going to try to find a few other races in the Midwest to catch this year, too. We heard that there's one in Milwaukee, not too far from us. There must be tons near you, too? Too, too many THINGS to choose from! We definitely keep things interesting, don't we!
I am currently working on kitting up Mermaid's Folly too, and I am doing it on a very light mottled fabric and a very subtly mottled Silks4U. I know AbbieBellaStitch is also doing Mermaids Folly, ditto with Eclectic Possessions and Animal Instincts. And thank you for the idea of having focus pieces per season to finish. Been feeling a bit burned out lately with all the starts and all the wips, and I just want to make some good progress on my wips. I don't know why because I've already managed 6 finishes this year, but after a month of stitching monogomously on Villa Mirabilia, I just want to work on my other wips and avoid new starts (atleast for a few weeks lol) I am going through my wips now to see what I want to focus on this coming Winter (I'm Southern Hemisphere in New Zealand.)
Hi Zeb! Mermaid's Folly will be fun. I'll have to check in on everyone's progress, and I need to get back to that project too. Six finishes is a lot of finishes! I barely finish anything. You're entering spring now, is that right? Any particular projects you'll be focusing on for springtime?
So many beautiful WIPs and kitted up projects. Love how you are falling deep for all the dragons 😂 Loving your menagerie and can’t wait to see it all done. Love your “current” choices of fabric and floss for Afshan Sampler
Once you start a dragon, the possibilities are endless! I found myself lost on UnconventionalXStitch's website earlier this month! No commitments yet but a few items saved to a wishlist!
I am so happy to be catching up with you! Please do tell me what method you're using to learn Japanese! I have taken courses at quite a fast pace in the past and have long since forgotten most of it! I want to learn so badly! Beautiful stitching! 💝💝
Hi Denise! Well it's been Duolingo so far, but then I also found a RU-vid channel called Japarrot Let's Learn Japanese! It's cute, they tell little repetitive stories. I've also used Pimsleur from my library in the past- they do short conversations which are easy to repeat after.
“When Maryam was a monogamous stitcher and finished things at a fast pace” as though she isn’t still an amazingly speedy stitcher 😂😂 She impresses me constantly with how much she gets done. ♥️♥️
Great projects, I look forward to seeing how much you accomplish on your break! I’m going to be starting the MFE Lord of the Rings piece at some point as well… trying to tackle some other projects first 🤞🤞
I'm in love with the LOTR pattern as well - it's so beautiful! You've picked a stunning fabric for it. :) I'm actually thinking about starting that one for my birthday in a couple weeks.
