Can we save the 1.0 ecoboost engine having suffered low oil pressure due to the wetbelt (cam belt) failing and blocking the oil pump.
In theory we can rebuild be in practise Ford don't want you to.

Yes still cheaper than forecourt price but with new engine, clutch, turbo discos and pads.

Yes there is a Haynes manual. All the torque settings for the engine except crank and conrods.

Yeh, i was just thinking can u not get a new or recon engine for less money and hassel ? Then u said ive bought another engine ! So all good and progress made !

Not dual. Mass. But I did install a new 3 piece clutch

Yes unfortunately. And you need a torque multipler to refit

Yes. £1250 +vat. They give you 2 weeks to return yours or else they charge £400

@@krzysztofkawalec9937 yes was easy to strip my problem was I couldnt find detials for torque setting to crank and con rods. So in the end bought a rebuilt short motor

Yes this was problem for my . is end torque 80 nm but is sequence of lossen and tighten . cranck bolt 300nm +90 degre
