Appreciate the shoutout to the baccpaBrawl!! We pride ourselves on the quick bracket runtime (usually about 3 hours in total), the ELECTRIC commentary between myself and PatriarchPanda, and the good viewership on the RU-vid VODs (if you make top 8, a lot of people will get to see you play). Thanks again Hotashi for bringing exposure to these GGST weeklies

This is so crazy. We inherited the tournament from a few friends and had 12 entrants our first time running it. We didn't even know how to start the bracket. Now we're on Hotashi's channel getting shouted out by one of the Guilty GOATs. We made a new format that's SPREADING. We've had so many incredible players enter and give us positive feedback. We ran a cross event with AEGIS and a Champion's edition (Dany won both, damn he's good). Our tourney has even helped some players find sponsors! I had people say thanks for running the tourney when I went to Evo. This is so incredible, but we couldn't have done it without each and every player who ever entered. We love you players, and you'll always be welcome. Hotashi you gotta come by and try out the format sometime! We'd love to know your thoughts. Also shout outs to Nexic the co-owner, and some TOs/big helpers it wouldn't have been possible without: Lanxeared, ATLRiot, Paully, Gono, Fat, LJ, and Sunpuppy's future Fiance Devbomb.

hi, i own ban. to clarify on our rule about connections, wifi is permitted until you are asked to make a connection test, in which case if you are wifi and your opponent is wired, your opponent will be defaulted the win. thanks for the shoutout!

Appreciate the shoutout regarding the team league. To clarify its actually 16 teams overall. We did the group draw yesterday and teams have been seeded into their groups. We wanted to create a team league that can be used as a way to build storylines, create community engagement, and more importantly, provide a fun and exciting way to consume guilty gear strive for both viewers and players. You can catch the action Wednesdays starting at 8:15PM EST! Live on our channel, or catch other organizations streaming their teams! Appreciate it once again for the shoutout, hope to get you on commentary one day for the league!

Hey, I'm one of the folks from Incendium Gaming (Mufausa). Thank you very much for highlighting Digital Havoc (GGST - Mondays - Bi-Weekly @ 7PM EST). Although, we run on the same day as TNS and by proxy are smaller. We also host other titles on Wednesdays and Fridays too and with the amount of online events going on each week. We are bound to collide with another event. I am just happy that people are down to support Canadian efforts. I do want to give a big thanks to both Nick Hazard and Hotashi for shedding light on all of these online events.

I am walking around PUMPED that you shouted out the Aegis Team League. It's a little different than normal events but we're trying hard to make something good for these players. Thanks man.

One thing to note about BAN specifically is that they run an open bi-weekly, and the off weeks they run a beginner bracket! So if you want to get some lower level play before testing your skills in the open brackets BAN is pretty good

Very good idea to post a video on Net Tournaments. A lot of people don’t really know how to find tournaments or just don’t place the additional time in to sit and look. Sometimes, that causes certain tournaments to experience less participation. This solves both the participant’s and the tournament organizer’s problem. Thanks Hotashi!

This video is the last push I think I needed to actually join an online tournament. I really wanted to start in SF6 when Akuma releases, but you know why not get back into Strive too at the same time. Running into the odd pro or top tier player in ranked is already a blast. Grade A video, much needed.

Very cool of you to gather this info, Skullgirls community has people who do this too and it makes a big difference. I've been hitting up online locals starting in January and they're only going to get more populated and tougher from here after this signal boost. I'll try some of the brackets you've mentioned when I can.

Great video, thanks for making this! I wanna shout out to captain Hawkeye's beginner beatdown also, which is a beginner bracket (no elo above 1600 or past winners aside from the monthly open) as well as reaching for the galaxies (every other week swiss -> double elim for top 8). I want tk enter BAN but my Tuesdays are packed abd these two rock. I can guess that rftg didn't make the list because every two weeks and bbd JUST came back to weekly last night after a three month hiatus but both have been going for awhile Edit: forgot to clarify, bbd is Saturdays and rftg is sundays

Yo I'm one of the long time members/commentator for BAN, thanks for the shoutout man, this open we had was the largest we've had yet, we were surprised too at the 80 entrants.

Some great info, I should pick up GGSt again been taking a break to play other things. I’m gonna have to do some homework to see what’s going on the uk and Europe. Love your stuff.

As an EU player it’s pretty rough trying to find something to get in to. Most big tournaments are held in NA or Asia, which is both unfortunate for timezones and connection.

Really love the wealth of options there are, but I do wish there was a weekday tournament that didn't start so early for PST timezone, most of these I'd have to hope for miracle scenarios after work to join.
