@@InTheKitchenWithGinaYoung after butter at beggining no need for end but nice recipe! Love wel done some people like the rare or medium (the rare pretty much blends raw 😂) which is ughh for me and this comment section
Excellent job. One tip- you should start with olive oil instead of butter. It has a higher smoke point, as well as flavor. You FINISH the steak with butter, by throwing a couple of knobs in the pan with the steak and then BASTING the steak once the butter melts. Pull it off, let it rest and presto!
This comment is NOT meant to insult you, Gina. One never cooks steaks with a fork. Piercing the meat releases the juices and causes the steak to become tough. Use tongs instead. That country style SPREAD is NOT butter. Those spreads are 48% vegetable oil (look at the ingredients). You are just spreading seasoned OIL on your steak. Accent is strictly monosodium glutamate (MSG). Sazon's PRIMARY ingredient is ALSO MSG. You are killing that food with MSG. You have EXCELLENT teaching skills and you are a very effective communicator. I would suggest using real butter and spices (granulated garlic, onion, etc) for your compote. If you really want to enjoy the flavor of a well done beef steak, just rub cracked pepper, salt, and oil on both sides right just before you put it in the pan. Don't put oil in the pan. You do not need anything else. let the steak rest for 3-5 minutes to allow the juices to redistribute throughout BEFORE cutting it. Your steak will be even juicier. Other than the ingredients used to cook and season that steak, your video was outstanding. You keep it simple and that allows anyone to follow along . Not knocking you. It is just a critique.
When you said that "it's just a critique" and you conveyed "constructive criticism", Do you not think you should have relayed this to her privately instead of publicly? I don't know, it just seemed like a back-handed compliment to me; Yet, I could be wrong. IMO you was correct in your estimation but not your delivery. Do you get my point?
Victor Matthews yea i was surprised at the end when I saw her arms were black she sounded like a perfect typical white southerner with the laughing too and how happy she was
@@januzairamli4426 I'm actually shocked that there are people who's stupid enough to criticize someone because they're "NOT EATING A STEAK" the right way. Just when SJW were stupid enough, then there are those who's literally pissed off at someone because they haven't tried Medium rare steak.
This was the best steak I have tasted since 1976 my mom made it for me. I followed your instructions to the T. My family loved them. Not dry at all very good. Thank you.
Yummy! If you make small cuts on the fat corners, the steak won’t curl up! Also you pour all those steak juices on top of the steak, you would be shocked! Just couple southern tips where I grew up from. We always try our steak without sauce raw first! To respect it. Awesome video
Sometimes people go overboard with the cleaning as-they-go, so RU-vid critics don’t attack them. I clean as I go as well, but not to the point of cleaning under a cooking pot.🤣🤣🥰
Never fails. Everytime I start to watch your show, I start cheering. "GO Head,Gina"...."Bring it to us, Gina"...."Whoop, Whoop"... I be so happy knowing that I'm learning how to make a great meal for the day. "Absolutely, I will"!
Thank you for this video. I LOVE WELL DONE FOOD. THAT'S WHY I CAN'T BE ON THESE COOKING SHOWS TASTING OTHER PEOPLE FOOD BECAUSE OF IT BEING RARE OR MEDIUM RARE 😉 THANKS AGAIN

@@queendelegacy09 At least 4 mins per side if you want a medium done steak with a little pick. I don't care for well done steaks, Medium to medium raw is the way to go.

WOW!! I am making T-bone steaks for my hubby and I, and wanted to find out how to cook a well done steak, so, naturally I ran to my computer and searched for how to cook a well done steak. I came across your video and feel like it was meant for me to come to your channel! I also love how you sliced the fat to keep the steak flat for cooking of the other side, plus you pierced the fat to flip it. I will come back and search your videos, as you have some amazing talent!! Bless you this beautiful Saturday October 3rd, 2020!
Well I’m doing T Bone Steaks tonight and it’s January 27th 2022,So Ms Gina I’m glad I found your video I just hope my t bones will b Tender as well as Juicy!!Fingers crossed!
Dang!! I didn't know you could clean and cook at the same time. I've always waited until after cooking and my ceramic cook top cooled off. Love you cooking technique Gurrrl!! Ever since your Macaroni salad recipe.. I'm a fan 👌😎🎆😁
Trying this tonight with 3 ribeye bone out steaks. Thanks it looks amazing. It's my first time cooking one. I usually go to stoney river but decided I'll cook them for me and my best friend.
Adam Hause did you pay for the meat? You did not, so you have no say in how a person cooks there food. Personally, I hate meat anything under well done. I’ll put that crap in the microwave and make it chewy if I gotta to get it to well done. It’s just personal preference dude. Don’t make a deal out of how they digest something that’s gonna come out the other end anyways.
Finally a straight up, to the point video on how to cook a well done steak that is not alive lol... Well done means well done... My Fiance loves steak, but I refuse to cook for her unless it is done correctly... This is a great video... She will be quite surprised... Many videos on on RU-vid, this is one to help all succeed... Thanks n keep um coming..!!
I just bought 2 ribeyes and I can't wait til they turn out with steamed broccoli and baked potato. 😋 that butter herb on top of the steak is so good. I didn't hv dill so i used oregano, and basil.
Not gonna lie, I thought the steak testing technique was gonna go another direction🤣 but I've been telling people you can cook a steak well done and it still be juicy and tender
It's funny when people tell the cook with 956k subscribers how to cook. For example "cut the edges so it doesn't curl up" . When in the heck has anyone seen the edges cut all over on their steak at a steakhouse?? Maybe Gina wants the curls to hold the butter. I just don't get it. People give advice when asked. Or start your own channel. Hahaha poor Gina has to deal with all these people. All I know is even when I question the recipe I still do it exactly like Gina does. I can say I have never had a bad meal. Gina is the only cook I follow. Meatloaf the shrimp boil packs are all staples in our household now. Thank you Gina and I try to support how I can for the help you provided me when needed.
Girl you know you can cook anything an I love to watch you do it I love to lay in bed an watch you going to make the cheese cake pie tomorrow your recipe was very easy
Grew up eating steak with a1 or Heinz 57, hell even bbq sauce. Now with a prime or choice, no sauce needed just favor and good beef. Mayb the butter too.
I'm forced to cook a steak on a pan in my own apartment and I am pretty terrified, normally I would Grill it on the top floor of my building but because of this virus thing all of the amenities are closed down....wish me luck!! Lol
Gina u just done it again. U always make the best food recipes. I think I wanna try this tomorrow after I leave the eye doctor. Thanks 4 the wonderful recipes Gina.
