I love how Bethesda is including the ranger armor in this "deal", calling back to a much, much better game that they didn't make, and reminding us that "hey, we don't make the games you want anymore, but someone else is, and that game you want comes out tomorrow!" So, $1 for Xbox Game Pass and a game I want, or $100 for a broken game I despise?

And, even worse, they've not only went out of their way to avoid talking about FNV, but they screwed Obsidian out of their bonus, for being 1 point away from an 85 score on Metacritic. Considering how "well" FO 76 scored... the irony is bleak indeed. I truly hope that The Outer Worlds (and, for that matter Cyberpunk 2077) crucifies the FO 76 circus.

@@xxdeviousv2 I sometimes hate it when someone says its not entirely f2p. They made all the launch content and the first 2 dlcs f2p, and made all the strikes, including forsaken and shadowkeep strikes f2p. You have to pay for the expansions like most other mmorpgs that are f2p, and unlike d1, u r not locked out of any base content when u don't own the dlcs. I agree with u that it's not entirely f2p, but i'm just getting bored of seeing this statement each time someone says d2 went f2p but they didn't say partially f2p

I was thinking something like that. This franchise is being run in the ground by bethesda but carried by the former glory of the old games (and the one bethesda didn't make). Most nice things on FO3 and 4 were callbacks to or continuations of things bethesda didn't make. FO76 is entirely a bethesda original and they had no idea what to do with it.
