I applied once when my autistic son was younger. We were denied due to our income being too much which is laughable if you knew the amount. Then these trash bags taking what they don't need. Pisses me the F off!!!!

My daughter was born with no diaphragm and was on a feeding tube til she was 2. She received SSDI until we got our tax return. My husband was working at Home Depot at the time and I stayed home with her because she had multiple weekly doctors appointments and multiple surgeries. We were under the income level until we got our tax return. They immediately cut her off of the SSDI. How are these people getting away with this?

I’m a 23 year old single mom to a son with autism. I had him when I was 19 and his dad never bothered with him… I get $560 a month for him. I make $13.50 an hour at my job. I don’t understand how they get SSI, let alone more $$ considering they have 2 incomes. Something is super duper sketchy here.

I am a certified SSA disability claimant rep, if ssa decides to do something about this, they will have to pay it all back… they’re f’ed…

For all non Americans or those that don't know how SSDI works, up until the age of 18, eligibility is 1) child has to be found disabled 2) parents are on a certain financial theshold and can't own major assests. Over the age of 18, the disabled individual can't do meaningful work to maintain basic needs that includes food, shelter etc. Edit: OMG!!! Are they in trouble!!!

My daughter has been disabled since age 2. Until she was 18 her SSI eligibility was based on our, her parents income. And believe me the income threshhold is actually pretty low. Plus everything beyond us owning 1 car and 1 home was considered an asset and we could only have $3000 in assets at that time. Once she turned 18 parents income and assets don't count. If all that is true they are in big trouble!! How stupid must they be to advertise all their assets and income if they're hiding all that from the government!!

To all of the families that are struggling to get services and financial help for their loved ones, this vlog should be an eye opener to how these people are and also fuel you to report these two people to Social Security. Anyone can report fraud. The numer and website are at the end of the vlog or do a simple google search on how to report Social Security fraud.

My nephew is non verbal autistic. It took my brother n sis law years to get him approved for ssi. The ssi takes back monet if my brother n law makes too much in that month. They don't live a lifestyle anywhere near these people. My brother n law and sis n law were told they have to many assets. So something funky is going on. We also live in Jacksonville fl. I have run into them once.

I think they have used every loophole they could find.

They definitely should not be collecting money. Other people need that money more. My son was collecting social security and they took it because his father makes to much and he definitely did not make what these people make. Their families and people out there that really need that money I hope they get caught

What makes me mad is Asa's daughter from an affair. Asa was behind in child support payments when they bought the Jacksonville house. Asa has no contact with her either.

I Have a son with autism that gets social security and it's based off income it's for low income families. They are a 100% not qualified and have to be lying you have to submit proof of income so I don't know what they're doing but what's gonna happen is they are gonna end up having to pay all that back to social security.

As a mother of two boys and my husband committed suicide this is sick. I work three jobs to keep my kidd safe, warm and happy. Shame on them

Holy crap, I can't believe this! My son has autism. He collects SSI/disability monthly, and monthly we HAVE to report our income for the prior month, if my husband gets an extra paycheck that month or something, it goes down. There's NO WAY they should have been able to collect. UNLESS they are only bringing in no more then 4k a month, they shouldn't be able to collect. But they also take into consideration the cars you have, how many & what they are worth, any other income you have, or life insurance, etc. Wow this is insane.

This is so disgusting and awful. I am a adult on full disability. I became disabled suddenly, seven years ago. It took almost two years for my SSI to be accepted and that was after I had been denied and had to hire a lawyer. The reason they denied me was due to my age. They actually said I was too young to start using my SSI. Even though I had numerous doctor’s saying I was permanently disabled. I am literally bedridden and housebound! I need to have a caregiver at all times. So my mom moved in to help care for me. Then she became my caregiver. The amount of money I get for disability is laughable. The money my mom makes as my caregiver is just crap. For the first year, I received food stamps. However, after that year I was told that due to my mothers income now being included as “household income” we no longer were eligible for food stamps. We literally met this requirement by a dollar. She earned one dollar too much, so they cut my food stamps. 🤦🏽‍♀️ One dollar an hour too much (of my caregivers income) made us lose a thousand a month in food stamps. I’ve also been told many times by SSI that they expect your family to help you out financially. That’s crazy, what if your family doesn’t have money? What if you have no relationship with your family? What if you have no family? I am lucky and my mother does help me in every way she can. Even with her help, we now live basically paycheck to paycheck. It’s so stressful. If one small unexpected thing comes up, it can just about kill us. Previous to becoming disabled, I was working my dream job, I was going back to college, I volunteered, I had a cute little farm house on a small piece of land, I had a nice amount in savings, I was happy and comfortable. Now, I’ve lost all of that. No job, No Masters, No farm, No savings, Nothing…Just Nothing. Seeing someone take advantage of this system that I had to fight so hard to get, is heartbreaking. I have to fight day to day, month to month to just stay above water. Their gluttonous and exorbitant spending is gross to watch, especially when they could be using more of their money for more therapy and unique experiences for their daughter.

It’s typically tough to be approved for SSDI. Our daughter doesn’t qualify because my husband and I own 2 vehicles. They said we had to sell one, live off that money for a year, and then reapply. Luckily, my husband makes great money now, but there’s no way they qualified for SSDI.

The SSA can also subpoena RU-vid for all $ paid to the Maas's by year.

I have a suspicion that there are items, cars, homes & bank accounts in someone else’s name?!?!? I used to support Abby’s channel but when I saw the video of Abby in the sea & Asa letting us all know that she had an accident & drank sea water. This led to her shitting all over the boat. The parents know she drinks water, like at home on the pool, & to put her in the sea just for clicks & views just made me mad 😡 Then to tell everyone was terrible for Abby. We didn’t need to know what happened.

All the food they can be written off on business dinners. Trips classified as “business trips”. I’m sure most of their property is in the parents names or under the LLC. Again I hope you are right about them being brought to justice.

I WORKED FOR THE WELFARE DEPARTMENT FOR YEARS. He had to be putting his money in other accounts because we are able to pull up any bank accounts in the applicants name. We were required to check bank account balances and resources. His income limit might have been higher as well if they were counting their other dependant.

This makes me sick. My older brother has special needs and I've been sacrificing for years to save money to help make sure he has what he needs when my father has passed. I hate to say this, but I used to watch Fathering Autism until I found your channel and realized how messed up they are.

So, the question is, how do we bring this to light?

This is awful. We got denied ssi for my sons cancer diagnosis. We have 2 cars and we have worked so hard before all of this to get them. I now have a part time job and need my own transportation. It's awful that we are really struggling and get denied but people like this who clearly do not need the help get it and live large. They don't need this help but get it easily while families like mine are just left to drown in our financial burden

Oh I know so so many families through my line of work who have children with disabilities and they don’t qualify for help yet their medical bills, school bills and daily bills put them way under the threshold. Sad people can lie and get away with it.

If Abbie is still living with her parents, SSI payment could go down to 2/3 of the monthky payment. That amount for SSI for Abbie seems high. Asa and Priscilla illegally got that SSI money for Abbie. They are hiding their money in their LLCs.

This happens in Australia too. People with money have the financial means to hire the accountants and advisors to make sure they get EVERYTHING by using loopholes. My ex husband was assessed to pay $3.16 a fortnight for child support. He works full time for his brother 🙄 and the accountant writes it all off somehow. Giving him an ‘income’ of $21k per annum. Meanwhile he sits in a house worth $1.2 mil. Drives a brand new car. Takes the kids away on holidays regularly. The people with money, take money from those who actually need it, time and time again. It’s actually gross and keeps the cycle of poverty going. (Although I have worked hard and built my own successful career regardless of my ex’s shady practices!)

Yep. We were ALWAYS denied because we made too much and had too many "assets". Our assets are a home, two cars, life insurance policies, and a run down travel trailer. We honestly barely scrape by-but since we had all our needs met, we did ok. The amount of grifting they do makes me sick.

My husband and I make $26,000 a year and we can’t collect SSI for our disabled child because we have an emergency fund that is over $3,000. They Government gets all your banking info and your balances/ activity. I’m so surprised they have been able to sneak by like this. They were always super meticulous in checking our info.

In Michigan we have a program called recipient rights for special needs family. It’s usually an organization contacted to report allegation’s of misconduct. I used to work with a day program and if somebody witnessed misconduct or abuse, it would be investigated.

Me & my son both are on the autism spectrum & I think everything this family is doing is so disgusting.

HOW THE F does she get almost $900 a month?!?!!? I have a child with Autism and my husband makes less than half of what the Mass' make, yet we have been denied SSI for the child. Also them having Abbie on SSI she is on Medicaid. Which that alone would be life changing for my child because our private insurance won't pay for necessary therapies. Edited to Add: Does anyone know if Asa and Cill legally married? I'm sure they are putting everything under their LLC to try to keep it away from the government.

When I was new to all of the special needs stuff when I had my daughter almost 20 years ago, the hospital case manager encouraged us to apply for SSI, so she helped us do that before we even left the hospital. So we received that for a while and then come to find out- we had no clue - I had gone back to work after maternity leave, and we found out months later that she actually didn't qualify for it anymore because of our income and we had to pay back a bunch of money that we had received over the course of like 6 months.

So I live in Florida as well and have a child with Down Syndrome. She does not receive any money because her father and I own our own home and make to much money. (TOGETHER WE MAKE LESS THAN 100,000 Dollars a year)

As a parent who has a child that used to be on SSI, this upsets me so much. We were one income household, barely making ends meet,and apparently we made to much money. Now we owe SSI over 2 grand. This is so absurd!! They need to owe all that money back. How greedy and selfish. And they most likely have multiple bank accounts and only gave SSI one account and keep the amount low in it. No way SSI would know.

This just INFURIATES me! My daughter is now 23, she's been disabled since 13 years old HOWEVER we never qualified for SSI even though I did not work, I am her full time caregiver, & my husband at that time (not her father) made OK money so we did not qualify. Once she turned 18 I petitioned the courts to be her Conservator & was granted it & the judge said to me "You go get her SSI now". Thankfully I did because in 2020 I lost my husband (cheating bastard) & lost my job & have since gotten divorced, moved out of state & work full time from hone which is the best I can come up with. I work for a major hotel company & have the fortunate 100% remote job so I'm always here & do ot all on my own! They sicken me to be receiving MORE than I get for my adult daughter & they flex their shit e everyday!

Idn how the laws are in Florida where they live but in NYS if your married & your spouse has a license THEY HAVE TO ATLEAST BE ON THE INSURANCE FOR EVERY VEHICLE but they don't have to be on the loan/title

I get benefits from SS for me and my daughter since my husband passed. But if you make over a certain amount you get your benefits cut off. So when I start working after I graduate from college in the Fall I won't get the benefits, but my daughter will.

This ticks me off, for very personal reasons. I hope they get nailed and they own the entirety back to ssi.
