The problem with tinder is that even if you match with a girl you have 1/20 chance in meeting them. Most of these girls tend to ghost, as tinder creates a superficial relationship.
I was just coming here to say I met my wife online 8.5 years ago, and we're very normal people. Just because people find a way to abuse something doesn't make it a bad thing, just bad people. Solution: start eating better, start going to the gym, start watching some self improvement videos on RU-vid. Unless you've tried all these things to fix your confidence, you shouldn't complain about it. I have two masters degrees in both France and the USA, have a very interesting job which allows me to travel over the world, have interesting hobbies, speak several languages, come from a stable home, am well over the average in physical attraction, am a former athlete who won first in my class in the student division ... So I considered myself well within the "top 20" percent of superficial things women tend to look for. The proof of this is that 15 years ago, before having an 11 year relationship, I was able to get dates easily in dating sites. And it was enjoyable. Fastforward 15 years, it is very difficult to get a date. I wold say I only get 1 date out of 100 people I contact, maybe even fewer. And they play these horrible games they didn't so much before. Sometimes they don't even show up at a date, which never happened to me with dating sites 15 years ago in my memory. A professional and tall film director I work with doesn't have much success either. I am almost definitely still in the top 20 percent (although I am older, my income is now in the top 10% in the country I am at (which I don't say) and I have a lot more confidence), but the difference is that unlike the 80-20 ratio from before, most women only go for the top 10% or even the top 5%. I do not know any guy today who TODAY on dating apps is as successful as I was back then. And there are things which would stop me from being in the top 10 percent, such as my height which is average. To be clear, when I talk about the top 20%, I am referring to superficial things many women want. There can be many men who are supposedly in the bottom 20% who may be much better husband material than I am. They simply don't have the characteristics many women find attractive,
What are you saying in your last sentence? I'd have no idea why you're not as successful now as you were many years ago, but in my experience, women aren't looking for someone who brags a ton about their 'success'. They also don't want a mona that's focussed on themselves. Maybe you're not very interesting and aren't in the top 20% of interesting people in that regard? I don't know. But in my experience, women want an honest man first and foremost, a spark, chemistry etc etc.

They do have a role and responsibility when it is incredibly easy to get on the app underage. You can sign up w just a phone number and lie about your age. Know multiple underage people who use these apps, and a few do have herpes (some friends sadly). 18 years old btw. From my own personal experience it has been a factor

Dating apps are mentally damaging . Like for example I get approach by a handful of different guys on a night out who want my number whereas online I barely find anyone who actually wants to get to know me because of the grass is greener mentality
In my native country they alter my ability to get a job with at least 5-10 different strategies keeping me from being able to do it, then if I do manage to get a card with a lil $ on it , the person who has a parent app on my phone will pull out all stops to keep the transaction from taking place because a woman would give me the chance of having basic rights and freedoms in my own home, so I haven't been able to try any of them yet I'm 31 , I'm hoping to try them out for the 1st x by the x I make it in my 40s 🤞.

I think dating apps are made with zero consideration for people who aren't neurotypical. Probably your best bet would be to sign yourself up with an actual professional dating agency (eg pay yearly for a matchmaking service)

The reason prostitution is illegal is because if you ask most people "would you want your daughter or son to have a higher chance of becoming a prostitute?". Even if it's legal, most people would say "no". Imagine how prostitution would work when its legal and big money gets its hands on it? Which it always does when a business is legal. Legalizing prostitution would be preposterous.
I don't know man. I take a look at Australia and at some European countries. I think most people would use that as a last resort. America is just afraid of sex.
