Right! She called her son nieve AND laughed at him.
@helendupuis1361

My take on her testimony is that she is actually still terrified to say the words out loud, she's traumatized, she's scared that Lori can still get to her, cause her hands, while in there, doesn't necessarily "do the deeds" herself or "get blood" on her hands. I'd be scared to say it to the grand jury too - if I didn't have guarantees she and her cohorts were never going to see the light of day.
@kriskross7606
@kriskross7606 Год назад
I agree with you. I wish we could see her testimony but it sounds like she’s terrified. Also I think many of these friends were mild and meek and unable to be confrontational. That’s why they were chosen in the first place. Even Melanie Gibb and Zulema

@Rae777
@Rae777 Год назад
I completely agree with that. When you look at the timeline, things didn’t start popping off until they got together. But the person I see most likely progressing toward this kind of awful crime even without being in this cult is Lori, not Chad. Idk how many people were following him with this intensity before her either. I always have a hard time navigating the timeline of when people joined the group but it seems like even the people that were following his mess before lori weren’t as invested or full on believes until lori got involved.

I'm glad you mentioned Lori being the ring leader because that's what I believed since the beginning. I believe Chad is just another person using religion as a way to hopefully get rich and Lori uses people also, like her brother, but I don't at all believe Chad was the one who came up with the murder for profit idea.
@Rae777
@Rae777 Год назад
I think as soon as Chad realized he could get a woman he found attractive to completely believe in his hoopla and how much power he gained from that, it changed the entire situation. Lori really feels like the ringleader to me as well. And the fact that so many people are saying Chad manipulated her surprises me. She wanted to be manipulated and they manipulated each other. She promoted the violent tendencies. I can see this same thing happening without Chad’s involvement but no way without Lori.
@kriskross7606
@kriskross7606 Год назад
Yes, Chad had been using the line about his wife dying and women he met were his wives in past lives for years (Julie Rowe). Lori didn’t want to wait and pushed him to act faster and provided her brother Alex to help
@angelapepple9901
@angelapepple9901 Год назад
I believe Audrey ... When she said that Lori stated that she wasn't in the "mental place" to do it yet... Well I think that Lori did say that because maybe she wasn't in the "mental place" yet to actually be the one to do it... She always had someone else doing it for her.

@treeze_it7800
@treeze_it7800 Год назад
Absolutely Nina
@jolynna2
@jolynna2 Год назад
Does Lori have a history of saying the kind of things Audrey accused her of saying? Yes. She does. Prophetically during Lori and Joe Ryan's custody battle over Tylee, Tylee told an "expert" evaluating the case, that she was afraid that her father [Joe Ryan, 3rd husband] would kill her, cut her up and hide her where she would never be found. Those investigating Lori's abuse charges against Joe Ryan believed Tylee had been coached. Tylee was probably too young at that time to come up with that concept on her own. Legal documents from Lori's divorce from Colby's father (husband #2] claim that husband #2 beat Lori and threatened to kill Lori by "snapping her head off at the neck" if she called the police again. According to Lori's family, Charles [husband #4] was abusive and threatening. However, Charles told Arizona law enforcement that Lori threatened to murder HIM [if he "got in the way of her mission"]. Charles also said Lori accused others of doing the things she was guilty of doing herself (like, ahem...cheating). I agree with Charles. Months ago, reading through Lori's trail of over 1700 legal documents from multiple jurisdictions and states, I couldn't help but notice that, according to Lori, ALL of her husbands before Chad, made VERY similar sounding sadistic threats against Lori and Lori's children -- neck-snapping, cutting up, etc. No, I am not shocked by Audrey's testimony. Since reading the legal documents, I've believed that most of the threats Lori claimed her 1st four husbands made against her actually came from Lori's own mind. The threats were all "off" in kind of the same way. Just like the threats Audrey claims Lori made against her.
@mmf1497
@mmf1497 Год назад
There was also a recording of Lori in a group or church testimony that she was going to commit murder of one of her husbands or commit to God or the church. The body cam of Charles documents Lori’s threats to him as well. Who knows what she may have threatened to Tylee in the hour after Charles murder, before being questioned by police and I think Tylee’s phone was taken away afterwards, so that’s very suspect.
