I enjoy the money they make me, but I'm not into watching the talking. McGregor has made me some very nice bitcoin through the years. He's going to bring me 50% profit on one bitcoin this week and I love listening to him speak!
He’s 40, he’s 40 years of age walking around in an illuminous orange t shirt and a headband, talking about nobody can see him.... we can see him right there 😭😭 one of my favourite mcgregor quotes, so simple yet so funny
I bet Connor was thinking.."why won’t you die" during that second fight 😆 the determination and fight that Diaz showed was unbelievable, we were so lucky to witness this rivalry unfold and for me we won’t see another one like it. Wether you’re a Connor or a Nate fan you have to show massive respect to both fighters, thank you both.
No shit. I’m a Conor fan. Even a casual. But watching Diaz take shots, not just against Conor. A lot of his fights are shocking what a chin dude has. Oh and as a casual. Watching the two fights with Conor made me go and watch older diaz fights.
@@MultiByrney in the word of the great Nick Diaz- "We, I just go in there, I didn't understand what he said, but Stockton, I got a new bike, cause I got like 4 or 5. I'll beat your ass next."
Gsp is such a nice guy lol. He feels like only an armchair expert who does social work compared to Nate and Conor's way of talking but when it comes to actual fighting, he is king.
I love the huge respect they had for each other at the end of the second fight. Props to Connor for fighting in 3 different weight classes up from 145. He was the smaller guy there and didn’t shy away from the adversity. Prime Connor was really something else.
Not taking anything away from that, but it's two weight costs up from featherweight(145). The next one up from featherweight(145) would be lightweight(155) then welterweight(170).
@bignickenergy2042 You said, props to Connor for fighting 3 different weight classes up. So yes, they are 3 different weight classes up from 145. But grammar is also important, and when you say 3 different weight classes UP FROM 145, that would mean him fighting at 185. But now that I know how you meant it, what you actually should have said was, props to Conner for fighting in three different weight classes. Not 3 different weight classes up, my guy.
@@bignickenergy2042He's right bro, it's up 2, not 3, you don't include the one you've gone up from, so it's Featherweight>Lightweight (up 1)>Welterweight (up 2).
@@yesbro110 Connor won that fight by a hair if only diaz brought his A game or nick was maybe in his corner I think nate would have taken it connor was losing the later rounds
Man I felt so bad when Nate said "still not enough" when he was asked about his pay😞 Respect to these guys, they give their everything for our entertainment.
Honestly, the guy just sounds like a whiner. He made near 13 million off that one fight. $13,000,000. That's more money in one night than most people earn in their LIFE. Most fighters aren't even making six figures and this guy's complaining that 13 million wasn't enough? Tells you just about all you need to know about his motivation really.
@@campbellsoup93 mate none of the fighters can get their own pay from sponsors. Thats enough reason to hate the spoon that feeds you. And tell me money aint the biggest reason you work lol
@@enisengin2950 he always believed and still believes in himself, if anything he proved that khabib's confidence faded after he won, his true side showed and his anger made him explode and do what he did
You can say what you want about mcgregor but to fight a man u lost too then accept the rematch with the same weight is a credit to him he made no excuse when he loses unlike a lot of other fighters.
@@charliesangels007 how can you say that nate won ? he was knocked down 3 times, conor smashed him with his low kicks, conor largely dominated standing and nate did not attempt or achieve takedown apart at the end. most of nate's punches were in the clinch, but look at the girly punches he was throwing, slaps, he threw more punches but less effective than conor's and that's it.
@@ACADEMYFOOTBALL1 it was a split decision and many had it a draw due to a 10-8 round three for Diaz. I’m not particularly invested in it either way, and I can see it either way, but you can’t say it’s absolutely crazy to say when a judge and many professionals agreed with her (about the decision more than it being due to corruption since it didn’t take corruption for Conor to win that decision). The knockdowns weren’t spread around every round, and ufc judges it round by round, as opposed to Pride that judge according to the totality of the fight rather than giving each round its own scote
@@larrycera1943 bro i hear what your saying and by ufc rules now it was a draw but back then to get a 10-8 youd nearly have to dominate the whole round diaz took over at the end and he definetly won the round by a long way but not enough to win an 10-8
@@bignickenergy2042 Conor started at featherweight and after winning the title moved up to lightweight and won that title. He was originally supposed to fight someone else at 155 but they pulled out and Nate stepped up. Nate was originally a lightweight but couldn’t make the weight in 10 days so they fought at 170
@@BucsFan1307 what..the diaz fights were both before his lightweght championship. they also fought the 2nd time as welterweights, when the notice wasnt so short.
I don't think there was any Mcgregor fans who didn't like Nate as well. If you're a fan of real fighters you gotta love both these guys that's why they respect each other so much as well.
@@ahmadismail9593 ye against the best in the division, Ferguson and Gaethje and he had only fought them several months before fighting Conor and was ranked top 5 when he fought Conor. So he wasn't a bum when he fought Tony like 4 months before but was a bum when he fought Conor? very logical
@@ferdo5ifty642 nah the point is that he ran away in the first place it dose not matter if it was all fight or just once.. how often do u see a fighter do that?
@@christianmartinez305 I love watching the Diaz bros fight, but they’re notorious for saying they won every fight and were robbed. McGregor dropped him multiple times and overall gave a boxing lesson to Diaz. Watch when Diaz has McGregor up against the fence in slow motion - he slipped nearly every punch by a cm so it looked like he was getting lit up but in reality he was rolling through more than half the punches.
@@shindavid6484 lmao what you smoking on? Mcgregor definitely won the first two round no question and agree the last two rounds arguable but Diaz did land more in the last two and controlled most of the clinch action but it was close like you said but the only round that Diaz clearly took without a doubt was the 3rd one he dazed mcgregor with the 1 2 all round, literally was walking mcgregor down, and dominated the clinch in the last min of the round, mcgregor had no success, no good shots in the clinch or stand up, no takedown or knock down and only got walked down the entire round
This is why I love McGregor. He’s not scared to move up a weight and put his reputation on the line. Unlike Khabib is. Khabib nearly dies cutting weight. Literally he almost died one time. He walks around heavier than Covington. But stays away from 170 because he knows that’s where all the wrestlers are. Always going against strikers at 155McGregor lost his first fight against Nate at 170 and then immediately got the rematch. Big difference between both of those guys
McGregor only fought lightweights at welterweight. Khabib hasn’t even defended his belt 3 times and you ask him to move up? Even Jones hasn’t moved up. It just clogs up the division
@@HillTopHungBuck7 Atleast he went up,once he started getting bigger he didn't remain at 145 Even his coach John said that there was a time Conor made 145 easily But once he started getting bigger and started to had cut too much weight he didn't want him to fight at featherweight anymore after Aldo Well he had to fight aldo to become the champion and secure his legacy at 145 but wasn't afraid to went up and risk his careeer like Khabib Then when up and fought at two different weight classes in the same year
Such good memories . Perfect matchup. Making these things happen is why Dana White is the goat at what he does . Yeah there’s better fighters in the world but this was a battle of two elites and such a culture clash . Looking back on this gives me the best nostalgia ever 😂 these things make me fall even deeper in love with the UFC everytime they happen 😂
“I don’t think it would be a good business move for him to take any other fight” McGregor went on to get the highest gate and attendance ever at MSG against Alvarez 😂😂
It definitely wasn’t a good business move to tempt fate after squeaking out a tough-fought victory to even the score. He would have risked a loss that would damage his brand when there wasn’t even a belt in the line when he had an easier avenue in fighting guys like Alvarez. Unfortunately for him (and what would appear to be to Dana White as well) the LW division was filled with killers after that.
@@larrycera1943 I think the worst call Conor has made was taking the time off to fight Floyd. He should have stayed, defended his belts, and been in good practice by time Khabib and DP rose up in 155. Granted, I don't know that even without ring rust Conor could have beat Khabib... But I definitely think taking 2 years off, then jumping in the cage with Khabib is not a good move. Then another year or so off and to Dustin, who would be champ if it wasn't for Khabib. (Sure Cowboy was in there but that was like 30 seconds and doesn't count lol).
@@MansterBear yeah I can see it both ways: it is also possibly true that he never would have had such success at 155 since his power isn’t the same. He might have never made a climb up that division, and hence only got the title due to an immediate title shot. The guys now are people who never would make the 145 division due to their size? And can take much bigger shots, bigger than even what Poirier can take after getting used to a bigger size
@@bignickenergy2042 I’m not sure what there is to misunderstand. In a discussion about being inactive for years then jumping into a fight with DP, a 30 second match doesn’t really do much to shake off ring rust. Idk about casual, but basic reading comprehension would provide exactly what I was talking about.
Yo I MISS these days, I don’t care what’s going on in the UFC right now (okay there’s great fighters don’t get me wrong) but this was HYPE. The whole Diaz vs McGregor 1&2 is what got me watching UFC in the first place.
I never realized the Punch Diaz landet was so perfect because Conor had his Eyes on Nate he expected only a Jab and so he did not move his Head away because he wanted to Counter with an Uppercut but Diaz threw the Right behind the Jab and landet right on the Chin holy Shit
@@Dontulikecheese123 thank you so much, im just finishing clown college and you telling me who I really am is very touching and heart felt, and super motivating so thank you you lover of cheese. They may be the biggest names in the UFC, but most people have no clue who Nate and Conor are, they are not house hold names.
At the end of the second fight, both fighters showed respect and humility. Conor gave Nate props for literally being a walking zombie, able to take huge shots over and over and over and keep pushing forward, and after the decision was announced that Conor had won the second match, Nate even told him good job. There’s a level of respect when you throw hands with somebody like that. Even on the streets. At least there used to be. Nowadays you’ll probably get shot or stabbed if you piece someone up in the streets. Anyway, great video.
Yeah all these martial arts guys online talk big shit about how "i can beat any street fighters ass!", all i can say is, if you get into a street fight with somebody, and you dropped them, fucking DIP asap, and DONT GO BACK to that spot for at least a couple of weeks because theyre probably gonna be looking for your ass still. Not to diss anybody but thats just what happens nowadays, some people just can not let shit go.
Got into a fight with my daughter's ex friend's mom after it was just getting bad between everyone and it ended in respect, it's usually not like that among women at all. I've gotten in several fights because I used to drink and just living badly so it was nothing to me, she was a big lady lmao.
Love or hate Conor, he’s been in some amazing fights and has entertained us for years. Nate’s great as well, again you always get a great fight out of him win or lose. Both great lads.
Dude… I like both of these guys a lot. Probably my two favorite fighter personalities. You’ve got the wisecrack showboater with undeniable charisma. And then you have the toughguy slugger who’s more about the action! Love it. Probably my favorite rivalry in MMA history…
Nate is honestly one of my favorite fighters. He reminds me of the Victorian age fighters who are rugged men who fought dozens of rounds. It's nearly impossible to put Nate away.
Diaz knows how to play to the crowd a bit more than Nick and that's why he's ultimately been more successful, Nick just refuses to cooperate with any of the press shit
Conor losing to Nate was one of the best things that could have happened to him. Not only did he get to overcome adversity but also Alverez was such a better match up for him than Dos Anjos.
Love this channel. So good to be able to recap an entire fight from before to after. great way to experience the fights that occured before I got into the sport
The respectful, most focused, no nonsense version of Conor is the one you need to fear. He's legit like the Batman of mma when hes this focused, give him enough preparation and he could take on Super man ffs lmao
Yeah man. Say what you want about Conor but he is a special human being. Very intelligent, very athletic, and thrives under the lights. We won't see another Conor for a long long time.
Men this match was incredible trew the entire match we didn’t knew who was going to walk out with the dub and both men where giving everything they got
Greatest fight in UFC history. Probably the second most hyped fight other than the Khabib fight and unlike the khabib fight every second of this fight lived up to it.
