You should grab a beer! I know I will soon! It's Friday! :-) I use Adobe After Effect and a plug-in called GeoLayers2. It creates the map animation and reads the GPX file directly from the Garmin device to plot the route. The 3D map is created using Google Earth Studio earth.google.com/studio Thanks for watching.

Yes, they held up, but the front was quite worn after a week in the Dolomites. I replaced them with Karoo Street for the Murmansk trip to see if I could get a front tyre with a little better grip on loose surface. I am actually planning a trip (September) to Scotland. I have only been looking at the NC500 route, but I don’t know how busy it is. I’m thinking along the lines of coming into Hull by ferry from Rotterdam, then probably Lake District, Scotland, Isle of Skye, maybe the Hebrides, and Ireland. I don’t know if that id doable in 3 weeks. Any hints and advices are definitely appreciated :-)

@@BackroadMotorcycleAdventures The NC500 is great but there is so much more to Scotland than that and it can be very busy. Is you're good with camping you can stay anywhere but I advise you book any other accomodation in advance. I run a small tour company guiding people around Scotland bit I'm happy to offer any advice or route ideas. If you're in the south east of Scotland you can stay at my house if you like.
