For all complaining about unstable body shell, please remember Tata Tiago scored 4 stars with unstable body shell. Atleast Hyundai has done some improvement.
@@us5386 compared to previous Hyundai, now they have made improvement that’s what I meant. I mentioned Tiago as a reference for high star rating but with unstable body shell.
Not only that city 4 th generation also got 4 stars with unstable body,Ford aspire got 3 stars with stable body and body unstable hone se passanger ka koi nuksan nhi hota hai. Jo score aata hai gncap mei woh hamare sharir ke body parts kitna injure hoga nahi hoga uske basis pe aate hai not on the basis of damage to cars floor,roof,pillars or body shell which most people are not understanding and thinking that it might be paid result 🤷🤷

Dued ncap said body stability on crash i havnt said about highway stability , so when the hight is less the center of gravity is at the good place so the stability is ofcoyrse good, and yes half knowledge is very dangerous 😂😂

Unstable bodyshell means it's won't be able to sustain higher impact , dashboard and front cabin has more damage thus it's rated unstable. Highway stability is different thing

8:58 I don't agree with the 1.0L suggestion. It's low end torque is terrible and takes time for the turbo to spool. Also, that 3 cyl motor is noisy and not refined. In that segment, Verna 1.5NA and Honda City are the clear winners (they come with MT and a super smooth CVT also).

Guys lets make it clear unstable body shield is seen on at the imapct it doesnt resembles any change in safety of the people in vehicle , so for now at present situation verna is best sedan in india ,i know vw people cannot digest it but it is the truth
I have both Volkswagen and Verna 2024 , the comparison between Verna n virtues is not comparable so far safety, performance n engineering is Concered.. Adas is really risky in case of front n back collision..
Verna scored GNCAP 5 star with unstable body shell in the month of October Ironically, It's sales for the month of October declined viz a viz the month of September. This too when Hyundai hai close to 680 plus touch points in India and VW/Škoda combined have less than 300 touch points pan India. Still VW and Skoda have combined managed to sell more than Verna in terms of sales of its Virtus and Slavia models. What a Wow 😅😅
Bhai ... need to read the report in details ... frontal impact score is less and body shell unstable GNCAP says car was unstable at 64kmph and cannot take more load. Side impact score is better that slavia and virtus. The total score takes it to just 5 star, frontal impact is 3/4 star as it scores 11/17 on front. Anyways, hyundai has improved safety, that needs to be recognized, but Slavia and virtus have much higher load bearing
Vw/ Skoda waale ab Unstable body shell ko pakad k beth gye ha😂 Bhai GNCAP ek third party company ha. They have some parameters to test a vehicle safety. When they are saying 5 star that means unstable body shell itna matter nhi krta hoga. Appreciate hyundai yaar
There is something fishy with the way cars get 5 star rating in the gncap. Came to know about this after watching Gagan chaudhary’s video yesterday. But still its good that companies are trying and making safe cars after the backlash.

Hyundai will be in a catch 22 situation if the new facelift creta does not get 5 stars since Creta is their so called premium car over the Verna. Similarly if the Creta facelift gets 5 stars then the Seltos will also be a 5 star car. Just wait for the Creta facelift and then the ratings. Seltos will announce ratings post that . the showrooms guys , kia managers are very confident about this facelift . Seltos facelift has strengthened structure compared to the pre facelift . also 6 airbags as standard with 4 discs

Even though hyundai kia comes with 5 star its just cz of increase in passive safety. Neither on the structural platform nor on metal sheet quality. And unstable body shell is never a safety car.

Getting a 5 star in a crash test is easy after making some structural changes. Making a reliable car with no niggles, good resale value and a great service network is difficult. Those who depend on the 5 star safety rating on G-NCAP for sales are going to die a slow death
Feature + Safety = Verna now..Shell is unstable is one of the points but not major point because shell is not stable for legs considering the inner structure so GNCAP made a point in the review but it is not marked in RED and inner dashboard which is bit tilted as design they given so because of this it caused unstable I guess but overall 5 star given by GNCAP is an end conclusion so we all should aporeciate Hyundai and not create this new contraversy for shell as overall 5 star clears the doubt as we trust GNCAP and no doubt in it
