It was an amazing video.. simplicity is sometimes the best.. we see beauty everyday.. never easy catching it fully... no matter how expensive/cheap the kit we use.

#Mail I have no doubt the UK will bring in the EASA rules, it allows them to commercialise the airspace more. My concern is that the new EASA rules are too complex for anyone no properly trained to understand and will either A not be enforced or B be enforced incorrectly as the police dont understand the rules. I don't want to lose golden hour explaining to a bobby what the rules are should someone report me or they happen to be in the area I'm flying. (unlikely out in the countryside but not impossible). How would you suggest we protect ourselves when the new rules come out to ensure we don't get a fine or have our kit taken off us by ill informed police?
The manufacture will limit where you can fly based on location, airspace designation & what you answer when the app flags a question..thats one of the plans.. or could go like this..you'll be seen electronically, cross checked on a database, flagged if it not legal, fine emailed to you before you've even landed.. given 30 days to prove your innocence.. no need for a physical policeman to see you do it... how's that for a new world..😳
Legislation will make it difficult or expensive to fly in certain airspace.. which will limit the market that will buy it, so there for its value.. but it'll be 4 yrs old then..🤷♂️
@@IkoptaUk. My Pro Nikon still cameras are 10 years old and my HD & 4K video cameras are 5 & 6 years old. I still use them for professional work and will do so for years to come. The camera and capabilities of the M2P are still going to be usable for many years to come. I assume the CAA will be compensating owners of Drones they ground with new legislation?

Love the channel Dylan! I've followed you for sometime now and I've found your videos very helpful. I currently have the DJI mavic mini and I find it great for my needs, basic, small and ready to fly. Currently I don't need to register, but I see it coming in the near future (ahhh I can't even fly at the moment). Keep up the great work 👍
David.. no point registering in the first place .. those that want to do criminal actions aren't going to register.. police have no time/resource to enforce ..🤷♂️
Even if they say we cannot fly a drone that does not meet their requirements in 2022, I cannot see how they can ban older drones. We can't fly drones now as it is due to the Covid 19 reason, why do they think they can ground older drones now? You don't ban older cars that dont meet new MOT requirements as they are not retrospective, so why ground older drones?
One issue will be drone will need to be conspicuous. Manufacturers will do the job of legislation just as Gopro did when they grounded the Karma.. one day it works.. next day it doesn't .. No for me the question would be.. is it ethical for a business to sell you a drone that they know has a chance of being grounded in the next 2 years..? Would you buy one if they told you?
There's no intended legislation banning the use of older drones. They will just no be allowed in the new areas such as A1 or A2, and will be segregated to A3. This is areas 150m away from recreational, residential, commercial, etc sites
I'm sure there will be lots of handy posters and charts when they finally get round to it. They will likely be wrong, but they usually err on the side of caution so you'd be safe
You would hope so, but with drones becoming a possible reality for a delivery system of goods, then I think that they will ground drones without the ADS-B on the grounds of safety. I am not sure if it is true, that the new MA2 will come in two models, one with ADS-B and also without it, it will be a surprise if it did produce it without, why would they bring out a drone that maybe grounded in 2022 without ADS-B? It's all a bit confusing with no real answers just yet, guess we will have to keep, well guessing.

My question for #mail is because I fly mainly woodland cinematic stuff. Would having a go a fpv make me better at getting them close and personal shots, through gaps and between trees etc?
Steve, I loved that.. just thronging it out there.. If you did a postproduction Voice over it take it to another level..for drone shots.. I would smatter a few more of them earlier.. to set the scene, show the remoteness etc
