These types of "kids discussion" videos annoy me. Not only are these concepts too complex for the average kid, she isn't properly educating them on the subject matter & even judging the kids who don't 100% agree with her!

I'm a Pro-choice person but saying that I absolutely disagree with someone being proud or happy to have a abortion, an abortion in my opinion is a worse case scenario choice. You can feel relieved about it but to go about telling other people, especially children in a nonchalant way is disrespectful to the child you could have and other women who had abortions themselves, it's a emotionally and mentally taxing thing to go through.

Afro Kid is a superhero. His no-shit attitude was magic. I'm the same way, I'm pro-abortion but I can't stand this "lets normalise abortion" attitude, it's completely unrealistic. Abortions should be seen as a tragic resort, not a normal part of being a teenage girl.

I'm glad you brought up the psychical dangers of getting an abortion. Pregnancy can be long and challenging especially when labor comes. But it's not like abortion is a trip to the nail salon. It increases the chances of ovarian cancer, infertility, infection, cervix damage and mental issues.

I’m 100% pro life, but I perfectly understand why pro choice defend their ideals and respect that even though I may disagree. One thing that has always pissed me off in particular is how pro choice extremists like that lady tend to dismiss this discussion entirely because “the answer is obvious” and “you can’t be against abortions”. They really undermine this very serious, very complex discussion that puts the life of a human being at stake. Deciding whether or not a developing baby should be considered a living human is NOT a simple topic with an obvious yes or no answer, and it needs to be handled with respect and care rather than simply shooting down one side of the debate for being “anti choice” and “stupid”.

In my personal opinion, abortion should be "reserved" (for lack of a better word) for female victims of rape (assuming the victims do not want the baby; I know some women may choose to keep a baby conceived through rape to represent something "good" coming from a horrific event, and if that gives them comfort, I'm in no position to argue), or in instances where the baby either poses serious health risks to the mother or has health problems itself which will prevent it from having a quality life. There are many ways to avoid unwanted pregnancy, and (as you said) abortion should be the last resort.

I'm pro-choice. Since I do think the choice is an important one for a woman to be able to make. I dont agree with it myself, I would never do it and if my friend was going to I would try to talk to them about it, but in the end, it is there choice and they deserve to have it. To me, it is a worse case scenario thing. I really like the young boy who spoke the woman, he seemed to understand the subject which made me glad but also upset that kids have to be learning about these sensitive topics so early in life due to modern day sensitivity. Also, this woman speaker as if she was proud of the abortion. If she got one, that is one thing because maybe she had her own reasoning and so on. To be proud or happy about it though, it seems wrong to celebrate a loss of life. I have had a friend who needed to get an abortion due to reasons I cannot disclose, but they were serious and health related and while they made the descion and went through with it, she still mourned and was heartbroken afterwards. She felt guilt. Dont celebrate abortion, if you dont feel bad at least feel indifferent. Dont make it out to be some heavenly ordeal.

I think that it’s important to talk to kids about abortion in a sensitive and respectful way. This “Kids Meet” video is doing the exact opposite of that. I’m honestly shocked that this woman isn’t experiencing any signs of guilt or regret since abortion is usually a worst-case scenario option for many women.

I think abortion should be allowed if the mother has a terminal illness or can't physically support the baby. All other scenarios, I'd say no to.
