Just found your new workout and i'm behind schedule, but let me tell you, after doing day 2, this is the first time that i feel completely connected to the C2 on the push. Thanks for all the tips and the non stop talking and teaching throughout the workout

Liked one minute on and one minute off. Tried to remember all of the techniques you taught yesterday and keep those going In today’s work out. At the end was able to push myself to work harder.

GAH! I forgot you were doing intervals today and I did a HIIT workout this morning. I’m a 4am rower (central time) so I’m done by the time you get started lol. I’ll either have to do this one after work or just be a day behind. We’ll see what my legs can handle 😅

Three days in and making progress every single time. My averages (including distance) are actually pretty consistent even though on this third day we only row actively for 10 minutes 🙌🏻 Also, I love how positive you are and how you talk us through each and every workout. Keep it up!!

@trainingtall Thanks for the 20 day program. New to rowing but really enjoying it. Only have a simple fan rower but it does the trick. It’s been good to learn that the power in a row is in the jump, not how fast you can row. Keep making training videos. Your great at it!

Oh man that was sick! I rowed sun 2:00m 500’s for the first time ever consistently in the last two intervals! That was seriously perfectly timed encouragement to push beyond what I thought I could do. The bit about being freaks, tho. You said that as a fly flew into my garage and I sucked it into my mouth and spat it out😂 Freaks indeed! 😂

I’m just starting to row, picked up a c2 last week. Thank you for making this series! Total novice just trying to get my form down. What was funny to me is because I’m not flexible, the recovery was as hard as the High Intensity. lol. I couldn’t go slow.

I'm 6' tall and adjusted my foot plates from "5" to "4" on my Concept2. What a huge difference combined with the techniques from yesterday! I cut 10 seconds off my average split and my ankles felt much better after the workout.

Doesn’t matter! Always somewhere in the middle / low-middle is where I keep my resistance for virtually ALL workouts

7:42 applies here. Nobody but you should answer that question. SPM and/or time are usually hard numbers, because they are the lowest common denominator - the vast majority of people should be able to reach those goals. Anything else is completely dependent on you and you only. If I'd tell you my average watts you might feel discouraged by an unachievable goal, while others might laugh about my numbers. That's the reason why in the rowing world, usually people don't talk in absolutes, but rather percentages. "Row [x%] of [max effort in y]". After this workout you should be able to answer you own question. That's your number!
