Diane deserves better than her family. this is a perfect example that family can be toxic too, this is absolutely heartbreaking. they treated her horribly this entire appointment, even when she was supportive of her rude little sister.

She probably forced her fiance to propose when she heard that her sister is engaged

Michelle was constantly throwing nasty comments at Diane, then couldn't handle it when Diane looked more beautiful than her. She wasn't being all sweet in the end: she didn't give away the appointment.... there wasn't a dress she really liked and she was focused on how Diane looked and felt; she felt overshadowed so she made another appointment all for her. She's not being kind and considerate: she's fiercely competitive and selfish and immature.

The problem started when they were all fawning over the younger one. Then when the older sis found her dress, they had nothing to downplay her dress against. That family has been pitting them against each other from the start..

Lori has a very good emotional intelligence. So much love to her.

The whole entourage including Michelle were kind of mean to Diane. I wanted to give her a hug through the screen of my phone :(

She gave her "her moment" when she had already said yes to the dress, she ruined Diane's appointment and she even gets to have her own. Also what a horrible family and friends, they humiliated her in every dress

Rough to watch mom’s favoritism of younger daughter, that daughter’s unkindness during the appointment and the lack of support the older sister got, which ultimately turned around in the end for her. I hope she gets unconditional love from her new husband.

Why on EARTH would the mom even suggest a dual wedding and a shared dress? If it's about money, just tell the girls you cannot contribute or can only contribute a little. If a dual wedding was to happen, it should be the brides' idea, no one elses. What a way to breed sibling rivalry. Goodness.

Diane looked gorgeous in all dresses I was shocked by their reactions. She is really so kindhearted.

Michelle is so rude. She made all these nasty comments, ruined her sisters appointment and then made one for herself so she could feel special some other day.

So basically, after her sister shared 90% of her dress experience, she's going to "give this time to her sister" and come back when she has the whole appointment for herself. So big of her.....

Can we take a moment and appreciate how calm older sister was even after not getting any positive comments.. I'm glad she wore her last dress alone when younger one was sitting, otherwise it would have been rejected too.

i can’t be the only that is seeing through her facade at the end. she was getting so much praise throughout the whole appointment and on top of that being rude and nasty toward HER SISTER. and when she saw that diane was killing it with all the dresses and finally found one she wanted, michelle got angry and decided to make another appointment covering up her selfishness by saying that she wanted her sister to have her moment despite shitting on her the entire time. (also wtf kind of entourage was that, that was horrible treatment and the mom should be ashamed of the way she treated diane. hopefully it was all for the show bc if not, i hope diane ran far away from them)

Michelle seems like the spolt princess of the family, the one that everybody's proud of and succeeds at everything. And Diane (she's a great person) seems like they treat her like the disappointment

You can tell Michelle is the golden child. She was terrible to Diane the whole day and after Diane found her dress first Michelle announces that she’s giving her moment to Diane and not trying on anything else. The moment then COMPLETELY becomes about Michelle anyway. The Mom is just as bad.

The way they describe their fiancés shows how different they are. Diane says hers is her best friend, easy to talk to, genuine, and definitely the one for her. Michelle says she likes hers because he's very similar to her -- so she's in love with herself!

I'm soooooo happy Diane got the emotional reaction after how horrible everyone was. She deserved it

Man poor Diane everyone's being so mean to her especially Michelle even though she's getting married first. They just straight up told her Michelle looks better in that dress. That's so mean and unnecessary. I feel bad for her. I really think that Michelle has some serious jealousy issues to deal with.

I have a twin like Michelle who even when she gives me my space it's still about her generosity and since she and my mom are so much alike they are both manipulative. Furthermore my mom loves the double wedding in pride and prejudice so this is like watching my worst nightmare.

The family were deliberately hurtful to Diane, and encouraged Michelle to be hurtful to her too. The dress Diane tried on after Michelle looked lovely on her, yet all they could say was that it looked better on Michelle. Kudos to Diane on surviving such a dysfunctional family.

As soon as Lori instructed them to separate the bully, and judge them on their own merits, all of a sudden the entourage was not being dominated by the insecure, jealous ring leader. Hmmm....

I love Lori stepping in because the older sister was definitely insulted by the entire group including her younger sister and mother. Her younger sister was so mean. Totally disrespectful. The staffers never should have let that happen either. Their mother definitely showed favoritism through-out even when her younger daughter found her empathy and decided to wait instead of doing the ridiculous thing her mom suggested about the whole one dress for both menutia. She even asked her younger daughter if she was okay and got up to hug her when she opted to not play the silly game of who wore it best. The older sister looked gorgeous in the end Since she was getting married first, she should habe been the only one enjoying her fitting, period.

I'm disappointed on the mother for showing that she favors the younger sister. No matter how prettier the dress looked on the younger one, she shouldn't have compared them like that. honestly.

So the younger one gave the older one a half used appointment and now the younger one get a WHOLE appointment to herself... hmmm

I swear to god. This is the exact type of relationship I have with my younger sister. Michelle just felt overshadowed and didn't like the fact that Diane got the crying reaction from the mom and she didnt. So she made an appointment all for herself. She ain't being kind.

That "Really" from the older sister really sounded like, "Really(you literally made me feel down half of my appointment and now you wanna act all big-hearted ?!)"

I feel like this is what would happen if I went dress shopping with my younger sister lol. She looks so much better in most things than me. Although we’re not at all toxic like this so a shared appointment would never happen, and we would be completely supportive of each other!

The Baby Sister made it be all about her. When the group was all cheering her she was all smiles. However when the Big Sister captured the room it was a "MAGICAL MOMENT". The baby sister just couldn't take it and still made it about herself. Did you see how fast the mother got up to hug her daughter and asked if she was alright? Too much I tell you😳

Michelle I hope you're reading these comments. I just want to tell you a fact You cannot just pretend to be the better and considerate sister after ruining and making the entire appointment about you then finish it up with I want my sister to have the moment to herself. It doesn't work like that.

Thank you Lori for stepping in and being the voice of reason because the girls' mother certainly wasn't it. This is how you create enmity and animosity between siblings. Don't pit your children against each other and for common sense's sake, don't compare them. And even if they do it themselves, teach them not to from childhood.

So, I think what we've learned is that Michelle is her Mum's favourite daughter so she's been allowed to bully her older sister all her life and when the spotlight is taken away from her, Michelle can't cope. Great job Mum, well done.

I’m seeing all the comments about Michelle.. which I do agree with them, BUT the MOTHER had them have a conjoined appointment (knowing how competitive they are) and not to mention she enables Michelle’s immature behavior. Even though most is scripted it just pissed me off on how Michelle’s behavior was and how the mom just sat there and let it happen. The mother showed definite favoritism! The older sister has a beautiful self-disposition and character in comparison to that of the mother and the younger sister. She must have received it from the father, and his side of the family!

this reminds me of my auntie(dads side) and mum. When my mum got engaged to my dad my auntie started dating my mums brother and after 2 weeks they got engaged too. and when ever my mum got pregnant she did too. to this day she copies everything my mum does, whether its dying hair or redecorating the house. she even trys to claim she has the same medical issues as my mum, its so creepy

I'm glad Diane had a chance to go out alone . They were treating it as a contest . Now that Michelle doesn't have her sister to compete with and knock down she is not happy . She had the audacity to give her sister the rest of the appointment , after Diane had chosen her dress . Diane I wish you the best with your marriage and new family. I would say the mom eggs the whole sibling rivalry on by picking one over the other and making them compete for her love and attention. I am proud of the older sisster for being so calm and not being rude to the younger one even tho everyones negativity.

Poor Diane her family made the whole shopping experience bad for her. Her wedding doesn't seem important to them. Michelle is the centre of attention. I think they take her for granted. Michelle was more considerate than their family and friends.

OMG the younger sister infuriated me. Such a hypocrite. Was all fine when all the uuhhhs and ahhhs were directed at her, she even gloated and teased that she looked so much prettier in her choices. The moment they separated them and had them try on individually and her sister got a positive reaction she got all butt hurt. She did not care that they had made her sister feel like crap for the first 3 tries, the moment the positive attention shifted she got upset, it became all about getting the bigger better reaction, and if she could not have it she wanted no part. She did not give up anything she was jealous and did not like sharing the attention when she was not the center of it. Even the little speech at the end was an attempt to make it about her. "Oh I am sacrificing my day for you" Perhaps I read it all wrong but that was the impression I got.

Reminds me of my older sister and I before we got married. I had 2 friends that I cared deeply for, who had already bought plane tickets and were ready to fly out to be bridesmaids in my wedding. My older sister and I's weddings were scheduled 6 months apart, with her being the first getting married. Last minute, she could not get married at her venue on the date she wanted. She asked me to not get married for another 6 months, because she wanted to get married first. She wanted to get married on the same weekend as my wedding was scheduled and wanted me to change mine for another 6 months after that. I told her I couldnt because everything was already set in stone. She opted to 2 weeks before mine. Which I was still completely cool with, but she still wouldnt talk to me for about 6 months. Smh.

These sorts of things don’t have to be competitive. We can be happy for each other, without comparing ourselves. I think shopping together can go very well if there is genuine happiness and love there for one another, not a desire to one up the other or to look better.
