What is up RU-vid my name is Gio, and trying to make sense of WandaVision is the equivalent of trying to understand people on twitter, it will never happen. And strangely it isn’t really the show itself that bends my mind backwards. Don’t get me wrong the show does make me feel like I’m in a fever dream half the time, but what really throws me for a loop is trying to figure out the secrets the show is hiding. When trying to do research for this video I realized 2 things, One Scarlet Witch’s history in comics as it relates to Wanda Vison is a goddamn Rubik cube of confusion, and two Marvel and Disney’s choice to have this be the first new MCU show we see is brilliant. What makes this decision so smart you may be asking, and how does it tie into the secrets of the show, well sit back as we breakdown THE TRUTH BEHIND WANDAVISION. Also make sure you watch this Video to the end to hear how I think the show is going to drastically shape the future of the MCU.

Update after Episode 5: Vision is dead- Maybe Kids aged up- Yes Evan Peter's playing Speed- Hard No X-Men- This a question Sidenote: I feel bad if Marvel didn't ask Aaron Taylor Johnson didn't ask him to come back as Quicksilver.

Most of the people mad about their theories being disproven didn't even read the source material from which those theories were inspired by. These fans just read about the theories online or watched them in RU-vid and parroted the opinions of far more educated fans. If a hardcore comic fan came up with these theories themselves and developed said theories because they noticed similarities between the comics and show, I am much more forgiving of them being mad at the show. But the thing is, I didn't see these fans overreact, because I think such people were smart enough to realize their theories were just theories. They were also smart enough to notice things in the show that contradicted their theories so they had a much more well rounded perspective. But people with very little perceptive on the source material picked up and hyped the WandaVision theories to death. It became an out of control media rumor mill propagated by social media, entertainment journalism, and second hand accounts. It's actually really sad (to me at least) how so many fans are mad about their Myphiso, House of M, and Multiverse theories being disproven when they've never even read a comic containing those things in their life. And listen, I'm in that boat too. I don't really read comics, Spider-Man's the only superhero comic I follow and most people don't even do that. But at least I recognize my ignorance, I didn't bother theorizing or believing internet theories because I didn't have the knowledge to verify such theories. I still didn't like WandaVision in the end, but at least it wasn't because of something foolish like my crackpot theory (which I would have just got from a random internet video) being wrong.

Looking back at the show, it was a victim of people coming up with theories and/or forcing their expectations onto the show. To name a few... 1)The X-Men/Evan Peters theory... 2)The Mephisto theory... 3)The Doctor Strange theory... Now I have no issue with people creating their own theories and speculating. But theories dont always come true, and I felt it was wrong for these people to react with anger, hate the whole show and hate the writing team for 'disproving their theory'. Is this show perfect? No. There were certain plot points that made no sense, I dont like how Monica was shoehorned in and didnt really do much, Episode 9 completely killed the pacing and added nothing to the story, and the final episode was nowhere near a satisfying ending. But I enjoyed it for what it is, and I am interested to see where it could lead...

Personally I'm not mad my theory didn't come true, rather I'm mad of the character assassination that was done with Wanda. She purposely took people under her control and got no consequence as a result. If Wanda didn't know they where hurting maybe, but even with that knowledge she still did it. I think it would help if she was taken in by the end of the show and arrested, or something like that. The thing is with theories is often times people don't get mad if their theories aren't true it kind of come with the territory of making a theory. What people get mad at is when something gets setup and has a lack luster payoff. I mean the Ralph Boner thing had to have been the most insulting payoff. The writer knew what they where doing and as a result got backlash for the joke,

@@GIGio_Official Not that I don't agree, but I think finding a way to punish Wanda or making her face some consequence is difficult to write. I mean, who could possibly put shackles on her? Only a few selected group of people that are probably unavailable. Arresting her is also not an option because, I don't think anyone would dare. They tried to point guns at her and she just mind controlled like 15 soldiers... I agree that she must have faced some level of repercussion, but I struggle to find a logical way to make it happen
@GIGio_Official
@GIGio_Official 2 года назад
@@tempest2789 i think an easy way to do it is have Wanda not realize that she was hurting people and at the end when she does have her turn herself in because she want to face the consequences of her actions. Then have a post credit scene of Wanda in a cell and Dr. Strange comes to tell her he has a way for her to make up for her actions. Leading into Dr. Strange and the Multiverse of Madness.
@tempest2789
@tempest2789 2 года назад
@@GIGio_Official See, while that would be an easy way, I don't know if I'd call it a "good" way, you know? From a storytelling point of view. I don't know, it seems rather... Off for her to just give herself up and ask to be put in jail because she wants to face consequence. After the shit she's been through, I doubt any regular person would want to be imprisoned again, after being poofed out of existance for 5 years and losing everything they cared about. Morally right? Absolutely, but the non-moral way makes more sense, in my opinion
@GIGio_Official
@GIGio_Official 2 года назад
@@tempest2789 reply the thing is the non moral way destroys Wanda's character in the MCU. If they did proper set up they could make it work. I feel like you can write an ending that makes sense and not assassinate the character.

I liked Wandavision but it created a bunch of problems. Now if they are cool with making Wanda a full on villain then Hell ya, but they better not they to make her a hero after all this.

1:32, When considering the level of intrigue this show produced on its release, it’s no wonder it was show that was released first. It’s unfortunate that “theory culture” became the thing that simultaneously enhanced the viewership these shows and others after it, but arguably also became a sort of crutch to cover for the poorer quality of these shows. Eventually, some fans only appear to watch them for hope of catching potential references or cameos than the quality of these stories. Again, arguably, Loki Season 1, despite its own shortcomings such as somewhat rushing Loki’s heroic transition, was the only one of these shows that succeeded in giving a poignant conclusion, not built around hype or spectacle, but around character and the progression of not only this story, but the story of this franchise as a whole.

Honestly I think WandaVision was first because that was the only project that they didn't need to travel for. The whole project took place in one town (very few exceptions) while every other projects were traveling to different countries and took longer due to quarantining for different countries and different restrictions. Especially with the Infinity Saga just ending, Disney just wanted to put some new content out there just so people wouldn't stop losing their excitement within the MCU. Not to mention, the Flagsmashers original plan in TFATWS had to do with a biological weapon causing a serious illness which for obvious reasons they had to rewrite causing more time

Can you review the flash season 7 run trailer. Also how you think season 7 will be

I am hoping that with the extra time they have taken off with this season that they will fix the mistakes of the last 2 seasons. If I was to talk about the trailer, I'd probably use it as a point to talk about what The Flash needs to do to make season 7. Trailer was good, but I am always sceptical when it comes to trailers.

I think I'm in the minority but I didn't enjoy this series, for me it became too many plot holes and the end was kinda a let down, I thought this would be different than many marvel shows and movies but it ended like a typical marvel movie which did not fit with the tone and theme it set up
@goranorsolic1000
@goranorsolic1000 2 года назад
Which plot holes did the show have? I don't really remember anything major. Also I don't know how people wanted this show to end. It dealt with Wanda's grief and the end setup was Wanda becoming the scarlet witch and setting up white vision's and agatha's characters
@surajshah3566
@surajshah3566 2 года назад
@@goranorsolic1000 The start was very intriguing but the end was very underwhelming, it changed the whole theme that the starting few episodes set. It ended like a normal marvel movie but the start was such a way it deserved a creative end not just a fight and lit up sky. About the plot holes I'm sorry but I don't like to type man😂 but the characters are able to do stuff without any explanation. For example how does dary know all the details of fight in wakanda, why can Monica re enter the grid, if Wanda can control everything why not vision, y does he have free will? And many more but the show is do forgettable (especially in the latter half) so I don't even remember stuff.
@goranorsolic1000
@goranorsolic1000 2 года назад
@@surajshah3566 for the ending thing it's very subjective, I don't think they could have made any better of an ending if they continued the way they started but that's personal opinion so I'll leave it out. As for the plot holes, it's been over 5 years since the Wakanda showdown, I assume it's public knowledge now? Also why wouldn't Monica be able to re-enter the hex? It was never stated people can't enter the hex. And as for vision, every other person in the hex except agatha was a real person and wanda locked their minds away and controlled their bodies. Vision wasn't real, he was a subconscious manifestation of her grief therefore she couldn't control him. Also I'm not trying to like prove you wrong or invalidate your opinion and force you to like the show or smth, I was just interested in what you thought were plot holes
