This is really helpful. I like how you do it in a more realistically doable way than OCD most efficient way possible min maxing. I never even thought of rushing the mine from the start for sprinklers

Welcome Back Foxy, highest I have seen for the egg festival is 17, and i think that's the record. basically you include left bottom and mid. you can either go down by Luis' and across to the lower east bridge, then run back to the lower west zone exit via the graveyard, then up past the houses and finish by the strawberry booth, or do it in reverse skipping booth, and ending at Pam's. either way 15-16 shouldn't be too hard. if you water every day, you will get your first harvest on the 21st so the 22nd will be the last day you have to water. :D Once you build up the 14 bars (and quartz) you can use fishing (especially rainy days) to be the stop-gap for unlocking the dessert and not have to worry about selling your strawberries pre-pickle. though it may cut into the number of sprinklers you have available for summer.

So glad to see you continuing this, the extra ores and then 1.5x selling of bars is only good if you plan to do the skull cavern - but also you shoudl eventually even if you want to do the keg/jar route - its the best way to get the ores and stuff you'll need especially iridium. I look forward to you tackling the summer and fall - I love seeing different takes! Also 112 Strawberries isn't bad at all that should be enough, with kale to get you that level 10 farming by the end of spring I think. Good luck!

I looted the same club that you did during this segment and initially I was getting wrecked with it because of how slow it is.. but for some reason, if you do the right click attack and then spam left click or hold down the C key, it immediately does like 4 or 5 rapid attacks at dagger-like speed. Not sure if you knew that or if it's a bug, but it made quick work of the tankier guys for me. Great series!!

Really great series! Ive picked up quite a bit :) Just out of curiosity, is there a reason you dont check the traveling merchant for wares on Fri/Sun or the quests for extra gold on things youre already doing? Also, awesome voice and you dont suck at videogames, clearly ;)

can I ask why you never sold your kale in shipping bin even after having tiller perk? Was there a reason to keep them?

I've just found your min/max series about a month ago and have been watching all along, and I found some inconsistencies. I don't think you're wrong in what you say, but I suspect that the game on PC or Steam is very different from the game on mobile, such as the iPad I use to play. I say that this may be an inconsistency because it's entirely possible that PC or Steam has altered the sell prices of these items, so I can't say for sure that there's a profit on those platforms. (I dislike those platforms because I much prefer the touch-screen controls.) For instance, every video I've seen claims that it's not worthwhile to pay Clint to break open the standard geodes. After checking out the Stardew Valley wiki, however, I realized that the only time you lose money on those is when the reward is limestone, which sells for 15g, or clay, which sells for 20g. The next lowest sell price is 25g for mudstone or quartz. After that, it's all profit, no matter what gem or mineral you get. Plus, you often get coal, ores, or stone. Stone doesn't sell for much, but to BUY stone, it's 50g a pop. In other words, there is *almost always* profit in gold, or there are ores which will make your life better quickly as you learn to craft quality sprinklers or iridium sprinklers. Also, I've been trying to follow your plan for several different save files, and no matter how ham I go at it, I can NOT get more than 10 levels in a day. Usually I get around six or seven. Other that that, I just want to say thank you, because you've really changed my game for the better. Even though I don't get wealthy nearly as quickly as you do -- the most gold I've ever had in time for the Egg Festival is just over 3K, and I've never gotten a single bit of iron ore before the end of spring -- I do wind up having a lot smoother time of it now that there's a game plan. Just having the outline to follow is helping a great deal, even though it takes me a bit longer to achieve what you have. Great videos, and also, I like the commentary you provide.
