Thanks for the support. I put in a sponsorship app for Magnusen in hopes of getting at least a discount on their Supercharger kit. I may just have to pull the trigger myself.

Yolo son! I'm trying to build my "ideal" X Runner like if Toyota had this factory optioned with all the TRD goodies, kind of how I was building my FRS.

nice informative vid. thanks for sharing. i bought a used x-runner and it corners really good but like you said, if the road is a little uneven or has some cracks, the truck feels really rough. im gonna look under the truck tomorrow, maybe previous owner put those sumo springs on. and ive noticed my x came with a towing hitch so maybe previous owner did a lot of heavy hauling.

Totally agree with you: even on the oem set up you could definitely feel uneven road surfaces and dips in the freeway felt like jumps

If you are regularly driving the truck, I'd get the softest ones. These are great for towing or when I have the bed loaded, but not the most comfortable over big bumps when unloaded lol

Awesome video. I have a X that I installed a lowering kit. But if I hit a pot hole or a good dip it bottoms out and hits hard. I wanted to see what was available for this issue. The sumo helper springs are just for normal ride height. Or do you know if they will fit in my lowered X .I believe that it is a 1.5 front and a 3 in the back. Not sure if a sumo springs will fit 🤔 ❤ my X

Just like regular shock bump stops I bet you can just cut a round section of a sumo spring to make it shorter to fit.

@@CMAutohaus Thanks for the reply. I believe that I will do this and get a pair of Sumo springs. I am seriously thinking about doing a frame swap with my X frame and a 1949 GMC truck that I have. The wheel base is very close to the same. My 49 is a long bed. And with heavy metal on it. I believe that it will need better springs . Again great video and I will have to watch it again 😀 👍

@@CMAutohaus I thought about cutting them but not sure I would. The mounting plate is almost the same height as my original bump stops. I'm also on 4x4 leaf springs and coilovers on the front. The sumo spring won't fit in unless I cut some of it off. I think I would loose way more travel is I cut out a section.
