I do agree with allot that you are saying but idk if you know that Keith was a popular MMA fighter before this. He didn't just come out of nowhere. Also the term "Celebrity" just means that someone is widely celebrated. And from the looks of his large fan base he fits that category. They wouldn't be including him in these types of events and acknowledging him if they didn't understand that he has such an impact on a large group of people/consumers. With that being said I agree he's coming off as very un-humble and egotistical. And it definitely doesn't align with the type of person he described that he wanted to be treated like. I just thought I might include that for those who don't know him. Not everybody will know or hear of every celebrated person but it doesn't mean they are not popular or famous in some fashion.

Overall, I agree with the Keith Lee commentary. But a lot of ppl weren’t keeping the critiques about the incident. I saw a lot of ppl starting to attack his looks, character, etc. and overall use this to start a hate campaign. I’ve also seen ppl try to weaponize their dislike for Taraji calling her a pick me, drunk, etc. None of this was deep enough for the kind of discourse it created. And I also think that as a society, we lack grace when it comes to ppl we perceive have a lot of money and or success. An unproblematic person should be able to have 1 misstep without a SM pile on. And this goes for anyone, not just Keith Lee. Ppl did the same thing to Ayesha Curry. She made one tweet about keeping clothes on, and it’s been nothing but hate since, although that lady was unproblematic for years. She still is, but everything she does is under a magnifying glass.
