Low mana costs, decent AD scaling, true damage, high sustain, high DOT damage... he's a pretty toxic champ. And the worst part is he diesn't even have to itemize to do those things. No spirit visage, still gets big heals off Q. No burn items, still secures kills with it more than Brand or Cass. Doesn't have to stack conq for true damage like Fiora and Riven. Any time a tank champ gets a little ahead Darius gets a buff since he is the designated tank buster. Not Gnar, who was released to counter top lane tanks. Darius.

As a proud Veigar one trick, I can one hundred percent attest to the fact that Veigar will absolutely traumatize anyone on the enemy team. You think Nasus makes you shit yourself? You think a fed assassin makes you shit yourself? You haven't felt your body vacate the premises until Veigar's spell rotation is incoming and you happened to get caught in his cage.

If I as a support or the adc had to choose between not being able to move and not being to move AND getting one shot I choose the first option. Syndra gives me ptsd similar to shaco.
It's not even that for me, I can dodge Illaoi just fine, my teammates never seem to bother and just get 3 shot because she's building nothing but bruiser items dispite being horribly behind, and now she's starting to "spike" off of their deaths...

@@Omegeddon Yes YOU can dodge it, but as I said above in my previous comment, your team isn't always going to make that effort, or their champ is just too slow, so they die anyway, feeding the illaoi even though you put her behind.
As a support main. I agree. Specially since Leo counters blitz sooo hard. I love getting hooked by blitz when I'm leona. It's like "Ooooo free E? thank you very much!"
Mood, like, he talks about how many champions counter Leona, like Janna, Karma, whatever, but you know what is worse than having a useless Leona? Having a Blitzcrank either accidentally or purposefully bring the fed carries to their backline. Also, Blitzcrank blows up like a baloon. Leona can sit under turret for five minutes to get a massage.
I do ban Azir as some champions mid because of the dumb ultimate. If my champion has to get into melee range and only has one tool to do so, I probably will ban Azir because as soon as I use that tool he's just gonna press R and then auto-attack me to death while I sluggishly walk away/around the wall. If I'm on a ranged champion or a champion with multiple dashes, yeah Azir is just chicken wings with a health bar.
@@The73MPL4R Idk about that...Leona has CC on 3 of her abilities which all of them are HARD CC plus she can ignore minions and summons, while naut has to pay attention to minions and etc when he Q's, Also leona has a Stun while Naut only has Root which can still enable enemies to AA during it.
Leona needs to be banned if you play engage supports. She trades a better engage for being literally unkillable in early levels which hard counters other engage supports since you will be on top of her anyway.

@@everinghall8622 Oh no she's definitely horrifying to play against, especially because half of the meta champs have dashes that are instrumental to how they stay alive, kite, or engage or disengage. And against notoriously difficult mobility champs, like Talon or Kayn, her E can hit them even mid wall, and pins them to her side and cancels their ability. She's only weak vs blink champs, but even then she's formidable because most blink champs have to sacrifice optimal positioning to reach her as a target, or let her decide where she is at when they come out, Like Akali E, Zed ulti, or Yi Q, which enables her to Flash stun or just stun if they aren't careful. She's way higher skill cap than a lot of people give her credit for.

Illaoi for me is such fkin trauma just because her hitboxes are sh;t and if she isnt complete APE ( which is thanfully the case with 99% chance no matter whether its in my games or YT or streams. If some got in high elo then most likely because of macro ), if she isnt complete APE then its not even about "stay behind minions" and "walk away when she ults you". If she is at least little bit smart then doesnt miss her E at all and if she does then she is in safe position so you cant punish it anyway and when she happens to hit you once, you lose, you lose all the advantage you might have built by the time and get pushed out of lane or get killed. When it comes to ult, try to fkin get away when she finish your last 50% HP the moment she casted it and if she wastes it, its just her being completely god fkin dumb dogsh;t trash player. Her ult also works as "go away from me" thing in the worst case scenario. She might not be the best pick to carry the game but she doesnt lose lane at all. Fkin dogsh;t design.
I instantly knew this video was made last patch when he put Jinx in waste of a ban. I’ve had more traumatic experiences due to that champ in the last week than I have in the entire last year of League.
"Why would you ever ban Amumu." You say as you casually forget the brief period where Amumu was the best jungler, if not the best champion in the game.
Not to mention he is one of the low elo stompers due to a simple high damage kits and requires early game bullying in jungle to shut him down. He is very much like a tanky version of yi.
Shaco is on my perma-ban list, unless I'm playing midlane. Holy shit, Riot needs to address him. I'd rather play against Evelynn and Fiddlesticks on the same team than against a Shaco alone.
Also Jhin, veigar, nasus, caitlynn, lethality volibear and ad tresh are a few other champions that can realisticly one shot given the right setup. Jhin fourth shot with lots of first shot enhancing items, veigar & nasus with enough stacks, caitlyn with all her amplifiers can reach 1000 on a single auto, lethality volibear can deal over a 1000 damage with an ult, crit tresh can also get 1000 with his e up. All these abilities can do 1000 damage if the user gets a little ahead and can one shot the adc. Edit: it is probably also worth noting that on most of those builds that one auto is pretty much all the damage you will do untill you can get the items back up.
Speaking as an Illaoi main: Illaoi is a trauma ban. Playing against Illaoi is just "wait who the fuck is Illaoi lmao" followed by "OH JEEZE OH GOD WHERE DID MY HEALTH BAR GO"
Gwen's one of those champs where she just sort of exists until she gets two items then leaves top to obliterate you with next to no CD on her dash/AS steroid
Kinda insulting that gwen got put to waste of ban i would say 50/50. Riot made a champ that counters both zed and yas on paper but in the end of the day you still need skills.
I think people still haven't figure out her optimal build yet. Her kit is built to 100-0 tanks, but I only ever see the same two items on her. When the Koreans figure it out watch out...
Gwen is definitely 50/50, but because the first 20 games are so rough on you everyone just thinks she's bad and needs buffs. She's not bad. She doesn't need buffs. She's very strong, but the condition is you do not approach fights the same way as a traditional bruiser. As someone who's been grinding gwen games lately she's strong into anything that either is squishy or can't auto you to death. Very slippery, great damage to literally ANY target, and a decent splitter. A good gwen makes life hard for anyone that can't straight up beat you to death with auto attacks. And let's not forget the lvl 1 cheese...
My perma ban is Yuumi. Not because of trauma, and not because of how good of a champion she is, but because if you're gonna spectate a game you don't get to partake in a victory or defeat screen. If you're gonna play league you better have to move around like the rest of us. Yuumi is a spit in the face to real support players. Actual parasite, thank you Skooch.
the only person who'd ban Gangplank without it being trauma ban is like... Mordekaiser he's a slow juggernaut with terrible attack speed and extreme reliance on a single ability's CC. That is everything a half decent Gangplank can counter with ease.
The Leona placement is wild, homie could legit file his taxes while he's Leona chain cc'ed and still is like nah this is fine, even a year ago this was a nutty take
