I think he was going through real life health crisis so they wrote him into prison. He was suppose to have a bigger role and he had a decent role in goodfellas, so he is one of the more experienced actors in the cast in this early episode
@@johnsantos1692 wrong he wore a wire I'm the scene I'm Tony's basement that's why he's circling around Tony questioning him , parallels to a police interrogation
@@shaan1001 Only you if are a sadist or you are making good cuck/cucking joke out it. I myself am a sadist. Am not good at making jokes. But if hear a good joke i will laugh.
@@coyoteduster8919 Also once he was and placed on a house arrest, Junior became more paranoid about the FBI watching him by always asking Tony if he locked the doors upon entering or if he was being followed coming there.
A ton of different actors in the first two seasons. Christopher's mother was played by a different person. And, don't forget, Vito is the bystander in the bakery when Christopher shoots the kid in the foot. Except of course he's not playing Vito. What about Tony's sister Barbara in the final season? lol. That was awful. She looked nothing like the previous Barb.
It's the little things...like the fact that the present at the beginning that Christopher wasn't even wrapped. I love how chase gave you little peaks on how much dressed up trash these people are. Very sharp.
@@_mountain.man12 thank you for telling me that. I’m learning more and more about the peninsula every day. I didn’t know that name carried that connotation. I had met many native Serbs, Bosnians and Albanians who have either moved to the us in there 20 and use the term, did they use it because they knew me being a westerner that I’d be familiar with the word? And also what is the correct way to speak the name of the area?
The spinning camera gave motion to the talking like they were talking on a round table, but while standing. This show never disappoints about its cinematography.
Always thought Larry Boy was one of the better and more believable characters, that actor really looks and talks like a wiseguy. And it turned out he was, kind of. :P
what's interesting about this show is how well it shows how these mobsters ruin people's lives. For instance, they're so caught up in their gangster ways that it ruins a wedding and it leaves the bride crying.
Carmella comforting the bride at the end of this scene is so cinematic. Those countless little touches are what takes the Sopranos, already so far above any other show, into the stratosphere.
This scene felt the most like Goodfellas, not just a generic way but the way the camera moved and so many actions happened at the same time due to a line. It establishes so much about their mindsets and general culture without saying much at all. Which is also authentic because saying shit gets you caught
Beyond classic Johnny ....and to be honest with you ...The Priest was becoming my all time favorite character on the series but was never developed ...lol !
It's actually "comare". Similar to capicola ("gabagool"), it's just a really fucked-up accent that the NJ guys use because they think it makes them more authentically Italian.
Mister Guy it has more to do with the regional dialects their parents would have spoken then trying to just sound "Italian" especially considering it would have been heavily laden with regional slang terms.
TheJoec2005 Junior was under the impression that he was mob boss after Jackie died. Tony had tricked him into being a "front boss". That's why he feels he should have the final say
Chris couldn’t even bother to wrap up that box he obviously snatched from the back of a truck. Probably had someone else’s name and address still on it.
@John Lorton I need a favor, bro. I just took a monster shit but I'm out of TP. Can you bring me some? I don't want to wipe my ass barehanded. It's impossible to get doodoo out from under your fingernails. 😫
Love how the show makes us subtly see in almost every episode how all of this scumbags, scumbags that entered into this life to “get rich easily” and “live a life of leisure”, end up having to work extra hard just trying NOT to get caught doing the things they do and having to be in constant paranoia for their rest of their lives on getting clipped or thrown in jail.
The Mafia used to have MUCH more pull and was way way stronger in the previous generations. The whole show starts off with power struggles which get worse as time goes on, and everyone is fighting for scraps, all while the feds are getting closer to shutting it all down (as you said). It's kind of like GoT where things are stable at best but one thing is waiting to fuck it all up.
@@drewa290 That’s the most braindead statement i’ve ever seen in my years throughout the internet, and i’ve seen some stupid shit. What do you do for work?
He bought into juniors initial apprehension, so he could make it fair to suggest "spring cleaning". Unless of course that was going to be your next comment
Everyone's taking what they brought to the wedding. Pussy takes his envelope, the other wiseguy's wife takes her flower bouquet. It's like rats abandoning ship with whatever they can grab! lol

Since 2016 ive been slowly watches the entire sopranos series, from full episodes on sites to clips here on youtube. When my stoner friends cant find soemthing to watch i always recommend the next episode of sapranos. To us its new. Its a trip lol
Vinny Vella looking happy and healthy at 1:03. As I write this in late December 2018, poor guy is not doing too well, had to cancel his television show...hope he recovers.
Love the dialogue between tony and uncle jr shows tony still had respect for him as”the head” of the family but still self conscious enough to understand that he is the big guy hence why carmine asked him after jr
My first year of college I had a summer job as a waiter at Leonard's of Great Neck in Long Island. My first job was a mob wedding and my two tables were the Boss and his Consiglieri. It was an all-nighter but I made tips like you can't believe. This was in 1976.
