Where did you get your certification for Qigong?
@QigongAwareness
@QigongAwareness 11 месяцев назад
I have studied with a variety of masters in Qigong, Medical Qigong and Martial Arts. I don't have "certificates" I have trained and apprenticed. I have studied with Dr. Hou, Dr. Tan, Dr. Austin, Sensei Paul Zaniewski, Sensei Ikeda, Grand Master Kwon and have spent 20 years with a Grandmaster that is not available to the public and he has sent me out to teach the public in return for all of the training. I have also studied with two different shamans who also knew TCM and I have had a psychic and healing awareness since a young child although it was increased after I had a series of healings. I also trained with a master of martial arts and breathwork that had a powerful influence on my work. I have two black belts in Karate and Tae Kwon Do and have studied many different martial arts with different masters. Those teachers all shared secret knowledge with me. I am a CEU provider through the NCCAOM, the National Acupuncture Board as well as the California Acupuncture Board. I am also a teacher Of Jeet Kune Do and Filipino Martial Arts and like Bruce did not like to limit himself to one way or style, i too have gathered from many places, but most importantly from within. ☮️🙏🏻☀️

@@QigongAwareness What was your inspiration for training so extensively? How do you keep the fire burning after so many years?

@@creatureinthedeep well speaking honestly I was born very connected to the light. ☀️ It was the first word out of my mouth at 7months old.. I was happy. Then I didn't understand why my family and others were struggling so hard. People told me the "sky is green" I was like no it's blue. After awhile I gave in to their world view. I started believing in sickness and suffering as the way of the world. I got picked on at home and bullied at school. I spent a lot of time retreating to the forest and skipping out on school and family. By the time I was twelve I was run over by trailer, jacked up my back starting smoking pot and the habit grew with alcohol and more. At fifteen the pain was so intense. Sixteen, seventeen worse. At fifteen I was introduced to martial arts, healing, meditation and Qigong. I was motivated to some degree anyway because the pain was getting worse. The doctors said my spine would cripple me by the time I was thirty years old. At 25, after ten years of study like the karate kid with Mr. Miagi, the doctors said my spine looked like I was eighty five years old and they told me to prepare for the worst. I had nothing to lose I dug deeper, I was really motivated even more. Around twenty one years old though I had one of my first very profound healing experiences. This person did some energy healing with me and I was out of my body dreaming I was on the roof. It wasn't the visual side of the dream that rocked me as much as the feeling! I had tried acid and mushrooms and more in my teens seeking some sort of transcendental experience to no avail really - I mean it was something but nothing like this experience! It was so amazing and peaceful. That hooked me and I wanted more and more to discover more of whatever that was. And my prognosis was not good so I felt like had no choice. So I kept at it. I had some AMAZING experiences around twenty five years old. I was doing training with several different masters. I had an amazing experience during energy healing sessions, one during an acupuncture session and several during breath work sessions. Like the out of body energy rushing - just amazing. Meanwhile since 15 years old I have been working on people. At 25 the energy running through me surged. And then again ten years later and then again ten years later and here we are another ten years later. So for me it's self discovery. It's a drive to know and to be free. And the more I do the more I want to see what I can do next. It's not always easy. In fact it's often hard. When I first walked into my first official dojo, I saw a seventh degree black belt Kenpo Karate Master, and I was blown away - I knew right there - I wanted to be a master. A real one. So I dove in and I trained and trained now over forty years. I became addicted to the lifestyle, the attitude, the path. And now it isn't just something I do or I'm trying to do, it is who I am and from there it is what I do. This kind of path isn't for everyone. But there's an old saying that used to sit above the temple doorways "know thyself first." Didn't say know your family, know your neighbor, know carpentry. It said know yourself. The only way to know yourself is to challenge yourself in some capacity. Otherwise people are trying to survive and get by and be comfortable and not be tired and all that and it's the more painful path that way. Healing can come from a martial path, meditation path, yoga path, qigong path. Extreme running, fasting, swimming, moving..many ways. But being tired and comfortable and bored and safe and all that is over rated. Thanks for reaching out brother may you find the excitement within you for the mystery beyond the mundane. 🙏🏻☀️👊👍

@@QigongAwareness I appreciate you sharing all of that. I hope to cultivate light in my life through practicing mindfulness, qigong & exploring as many experiences that are afforded to me. I'm glad you were able to find something more stimulating than drugs and alcohol. It is a hole not easy to pull oneself out of.

@@creatureinthedeep awesome! Then you will indeed. And yes it can be hard for people for sure. As soon as I walked into my first official dojo with my first master I quit all of it. Never looked back. Best wishes for the journey ahead. 👊🤙🙏🏻☀️
