Tasty & Healthy Pulled Oat Bulgogi! I made Korean bulgogi 불고기 (grilled barbecue) using pulled oats which is 100% natural plant-based protein source made from oats, fava beans and peas. The texture was identical to real bulgogi, tasted so good with steamed rice and cauliflower.

INGREDIENTS
- 2 servings
1 pack pulled oat 175g
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon sesame oil
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon fennel seeds
1 large onion, chopped
6 cloves of garlic, chopped
1-inch piece ginger, chopped
1 cup leek (white part), chopped
3 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon white wine
1.5 tablespoons sugar
1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
vegetable oil
2 cups cauliflower, chopped
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon curcumin
steamed rice
sesame seeds
green and red chilli, chopped
METHOD
1. In a large bowl, marinate the pulled oat with the salt, garlic powder, sesame oil, pepper and fennel seeds and set aside. Chop the onion, garlic, ginger and leek.
2. Prepare the sauce by combining the soy sauce, white wine, sugar and balsamic vinegar.
3. In a large frying pan or wok, heat oil over high heat. Cook the cauliflower with the salt and curcumin, then set aside.
4. Fry the garlic, ginger, onion and leek until the ingredients are soft and fragrant.
5. Add the marinated pulled oat and cook for 2-3 minutes. Add the sauce, stir until there's little sauce left.
6. Remove the pan from heat. Place the pulled oat Bulgogi over the cooked rice with the cauliflower.
7. Sprinkle sesame seeds and add chopped chilli to serve.
8. Enjoy.
