Vermintide Drachenfels DLC dialogue compilation focusing on witch hunter Victor Saltzpyre's mission specific voice lines from Castle Drachenfels, The Dungeons and Summoner's Peak.
@@weemissile It's also worth mentioning Saltzspyre has a decent sense of justice. He didn't kill Sienna outright but captured her to stand trial as he admitted he was not 100% convinced she was guilty.
@@Hagashager He didn't captured her if I remember correctly, he volontered for her escort though Also Salt is probably being more merciless because of the incident which cost him his eye: a grey seer tricked him into accusing a young girl of being a vampire and burning her as his judgement demanded. Later the grey-fur revealed that the girl was innocent, and the crimes she was accused of committing were performed by skavens, the seer then took Salt's eye to mock him.
@@Heyiya-if hey, you got admire a man who is so passionate about his job. High job satisfaction is hard to find in the workforce. Maybe thats his secrete? he’s the reverse Hulk, hes always happy.
12:02 "Move MOVE they'll just keep coming" God I love Saltzpyre, his attitude towards the rest of the U5 is like herding some particularly heretical cats
In VT2, I exclusively run him as a flail swinging nutter. It's the most braindead weapon imaginable, and I appreciate the mindless carnage; neither shields nor aim are a consideration for the flagellant.
It does. Honestly, vermintide 1 was better in just about every way except for... the combat. 1s combat is definitely a clumsier experience than 2, even after 2 got the stagger mechanics and the dodging nerfs. But the mission hub? 1 has the Inn, 2 has the dismal ruin of a keep. The mission map design? much more size, less railroading than 2. More open, sometimes better verticality. And the dialogue, so much more dialogue! If you take 2s keep dialogue it isn't as unfair a comparison but 1 still wins out handily.
I’ve seen one going around that its the grave of Oswald von Konigswald. He was the man who plotted with Drachenfels to fake the latter’s death so Oswald got get famous and overthrow Karl Franz. He was later killed and the disdain that Saltzpyre shows toward this grave lends some credence in my eyes to it being his.
@@andrewchop1778 it's definitely Oswald's grave. He's a hugely central character to the Drachenfels book and him being posthumously removed of all titles and buried in an unmarked grave is expressly stated in the epilogue
Saltzpyre is the most heretical of the lot.. referencing the 4th wall, taking grievous wound with little armour worn, able to match speed with an elf and a much younger man.
The reason that most levels in VT1 is dark af, shadows hide a lot of shit and because of that VT1 looks glorious. In comparison even VT2 looks worse because 95% of the level are bright
Sorry for the stupid question, but is the sound design in the first Vermintide as shown in the video? With echoes and such? Because if so, what the hell happened to the second one? It sounds and looks a lot grittier and heavier than the second game, Oh I don't know. Maybe one should invest in the first one to have a go at the lore etc!
So much more flavor, I've played the new ones, feels like their is far less lines. Salty is totally swearing about evil and such waaaay more here if not in all the maps than the new ones.
Someone: 'It is not possible to make a dark fantasy sitcom.' Me: *:laughs in Vermintide (2):* Honestly, there should be a parody spin off of Friend's opening with the Ubersreik 5 in it. :D
As someone else stated in the comments, it could be the grave of one Oswald Von Konigswald. This man schemed with Drachenfels to fake the latter's death so that he could take credit for it and be seen as a hero by the Empire, which would actually give him the support needed to overthrow Karl Franz (current Emperor). However, he was killed before this plan could ever be put into motion, and he was buried in an unmarked grave, and his existence removed from the annals of history.
Late reply, but I think it's the lighting. There was one map that was brightly lit (first level of Stormdorf dlc) in VT1 and it looked the worst in my opinion. The Dwarf DLC levels made up for it with their snowy terrain, but almost every level in Vermintide 2 is brightly lit and even the darker areas have brighter lighting overall.
I hope you understand you only need all the players on the wagon to leave. AI escape with you even if only you are on the closed wagon. But if you do, then points for waiting on Kruber.
