Amazing that something 'as simple' as a vitamin deficiency can have such severe consequences. This explains a lot, thanks so much!!

I am aged 58 and I have been taking Thiamine nitrate 250mg every day for the last 3 months together with being on Keto diet and I can honestly say my adrenals are starting to heal, my back has straightened (vegas nerve) and my hair is getting wavy again (increase in hormonal production), my sinuses have cleared and my anxiety levels have considerably reduced. Totally amazing.

@@yassina-r6806 I have not experienced burning in my feet since taking benfotiamine, and my cloudy vision in one eye has mostly cleared. While I realize that every BODY is different, I suspect that many of us are deficient in minerals, including potassium. The challenge is finding the balance. Without sufficient thiamine though, the body has trouble holding onto potassium. I supplement these minerals daily: 1200mg MgCl, 600mg CaCl, 3000mg KCl, 1-2 tsp Redmond Salt. I use a ridiculous number of other vitamins as I try to address malnutrition from years of malabsorption and GI issues. Meanwhile, the years tick on. 🙄

The way after all the doctors out there dont put into action what they learned????? Is there a big reason why? I'LL answer this one, lets say is forgotten or the doctors where told nutrition have to do with health issues?? My mother passed away because doctors refused to give he high doses of thyamine intravenously, even though I TOLD, I ASKED, I BEGGED the doctor to so, I told and explained the reasons she was having heart failure, why she was having difficulty breathing, why she was having high lactic acidosis, why it was progressing to sepsis, why he kidney was failing etc....she was type 2 diabetic and was on Medformin for more then 2 decades, she was on DIURETIC for more the 2 decades, on blood pressure meds for more than 2 decades. . She was on at least 6 different drugs, wich one have their bad side effects and contribute to her heart failure, to kidney failure, to breathing problems, to the EXCESSIVELY urination prior to hospitalization. She had very obvious edema, every where: her entire body edma, enlarged heart, enlarged liver, enlarged pancreas. How those doctors missed to diagnose BERIBERI??? I did told her doctor that she had all signs of BERIBERI, but they refused to listen I told the doctors that the only way to survive was to administer VERY HIGH DOSES OF THYAMINE, minimum 500mg tree to four times a dia intravenously for 4 days, then smaller oral doses of 200mg continuously for a few months. They refused to think outside the box, even with all CLINICAL SIGNS OF BERIBERI. She ended up passing way 2 days later. 😢😢 very sad how the medical " industry " think they know better their many people. I did more than enough research to know what im taking about. Several thousand of people dying every second of the day BECAUSE missed diagnosis, over diagnosed, treated INCORRECTLY, not treated at all, doctors not whiling to tink outside the box.

Started benfotiamine at 300 MG total daily. For the first 3 days. Felt 👌 super. Immediately helped with energy and digestion. By day 5 I was back to my lactic acid build up feeling and fatigue. I started benfotiamine because I felt a major drop in strength and endurance in the gym. Also, I couldn't recover and always has this crazy lactic acid pump fatigue feeling that didn't go away after the gym. I wonder is i need to take more benfotiamine.

I'm still trying to figure this out. I have a horrible lactic acid buildup , fatigue. This went away for the first few days of benfotiamine and my digestion was greatly improved. Digestion still good but I got tired again and the lactic acid feeling came back.I did notice I felt much better after taking magnesium and potassium today. Ok this is all great and complex ,.the other parts that are missing is the other nutrients and how they work with b1 . B I will decrease your potassium , I know this from what he teaches on other lectures , the symptoms of High B1. So if your low on potassium you are going to make it worse with B 1 because weather he knows it or not b 1 helps regulate fluid , water in your body with B 6 and b 2 . All nutrients work together . If your bi deficient I bet your deficient in many nutrients .I know . Have been slowly rebuilding . You cannot take high doses of one nutrients to fix it . Go slow and build . B 1 can cause a deficiency in potassium .and salt .

It is my experience, that if abserving capacity of instetine is good, thiamine certainly abserved. We Indian have ayurvedic medicine called panchkalparist, which improve abserving capacity.. Now, most of food has less thaimine, that's why we do not get sufficient amount. That too our requirements increased as compare to old days. About 50 year ago, most of people live in Village, doing job requiring less brain activity. Today, engineers, drs., CA are increased, requiring more thaimine.

Some people do not want to give up things they like which are bad for them. Sugar can be addicting. What you can do is have only healthy food choices at home. What you can't do is make him change your husband's eating habits away from home. Nagging is probably not going to work. It's attention and negative attention at that. His doctor has probably counseled him to stick to the diabetic diet, avoid alcohol, lose weight and exercise. I had the same problem with my (former) husband. His weakness was alcohol. I finally refused to go on beer runs for him or act as his designated driver so he could go out to drink in bars. As the saying goes "In vino veritas" or "In wine, lies the truth." When people drink too much all the ugly things they would never say when they are sober just spill out. Eventually the consequences of his drinking caught up with him. That was long after our marriage ended. He is watching his health which includes not drinking alcohol and is much happier. My advice to you is to take some time daily to take care of yourself because there is only so much you can do in this situation. I would start making sure that your joint finances are in order so that you don't end up impoverished if your husband does die.

Paul Marik, MD, uses thiamine in his highly effective sepsis protocol, FYI. Don't know if he mega-doses it though. But it makes sense to me that sepsis is going to burn through a lot of energy and so you'd need thiamine to shore-up energy to calm down the immune system.
