Were you a fan of the American-Canadian TV So Weird that aired on Disney Channel from 1999-2003? I certainly was. Each episode featured Fi Phillips, a teenager with her own paranormal website, as she toured the country with her musician family and investigated spooky mysterious occurrences. Some fun facts: Henry Winkler was an executive producer on this show, and even shows up in the 2nd season episode "Boo." Also the guy that played Jack (Patrick Levis) is actually a Christian pastor now. My best friend and I like to joke that every time a ghost or something spooky shows up, the reason Jack denies it is because the only ghost he believes in is THE HOLY GHOST. And this is not a fact but we are certain that 'Clu' is short for Cluford

i VIVIDLY remember being a kid and searching for the “so weird” website she writes on... FOR HOURS. and hours. the strange part is i knew it was a tv show but also for some reason in my kid brain thought it was a real website??? idk i don’t wanna talk about it lmaoooooo. no but this show was so cool i still can’t believe they even let it on disney channel. one of the best disney original shows of all time. i would be LEGIT scared and i used to watch rated R horror movies as a kid like it was nothing. lovedddd this show. it began my love and interest for horror movies and true crime 💕

I loved this show when I was a kid. My favorite episodes were the one with the guy from the air bud movies, the one with fonzi and the one where the dead dad saved her. I was so disappointed when Fiona was replaced. I honestly wouldn't mind a reboot of this show but probably not on disney channel, after what they did to Boy meets world.

I was 9 when it premiered on the Disney channel and my sis and I watched every ep, even when they replaced Fe with the new girl Annie. My favorite episode was when The Moffatts starred in an ep! Holy shit i loved this show! Erick Von Detten is the reason i dated so many “dumb” guys 😂 Fiona was way better than Alex. The episode with the hot southern town was always so creepy to me. I didn't like the change at the time, but when it started to grow on me, the show ended. Then Alexz went on to Instant Star, and it ended up being one of fav shows. I still listen to most of the songs. Her voice is so beautiful.

I remember watching this show and making my own website for the scifi channel "The Invisible Man" because I thought it was cool that Fi made her own website without needing to use Geocities or Angelfire. Also, I had the same haircut and wore the same kind of clothes, and I kind of actually look like her. Edit: Holy shit, I looked exactly like her when I was twelve! Edit Edit: I just got high at fourteen minutes in and the longer I look at Fi, the more uncanny it is because she could be my twin. Edit Edit Edit: It's between "So Weird" and "Big Wolf on Campus" that eased me into becoming a horror fan.

I loved this show SO much while growing up. Here in my country So Weird ran on Fox Kids (later Jetix) instead of Disney. It was a part of their spooky segment, which also had shows like Black Hole High, Goosebumps and Moville Mysteries that would run after this one. It was probably my favorite era of television. It definitely kickstarted my love for all things horror.

The only thing I remember about this show is when she had to guess the creatures name and he gave her the hint that it wasn't rumplestiltskin. What a weird memory 🤣🤣

I was OBSESSED with this show as a kid; I wanted to be Fi so badly. It definitely helped shape my love of horror. I love seeing people cover it over 20 years later! Fingers crossed you make more videos on other episodes!

When i was a kid my family had pizza and watched this show every Friday. I bought the same brand of pizza on a whim this week and couldn't stop thinking of so weird as i smelled it cooking. Thanks for helping me have a full nostalgia trip for dinner ❤

I'm actually impressed by the plot for this pilot, they clearly did their research as I knew this haunted club idea was familiar... There is a real haunted club in Chicago called the Excalibur! The building was previously rebuilt after the Chicago fire and used as the Chicago Historical society. People also claim it was used as a makeshift morgue for the 1915 Eastland boat disaster. Wish I had watched this show as a kid, love the idea of a kids spooky show based on real haunted locations.

I feel your mall rant so hard. when I was like 12, my older brothers would go to the mall at least once a week to hang out and annoy ("flirt with") teenage girls. I absolutely despise going to the mall and if I never go back, it'll be too soon.
