Who would you go bi for? It's not a question you hear often. A lot of people ask if there's anyone a person would "go gay" or "go straight" for, but if you think about it, "going bi" would seem like a more accurate question, right? But that's just the kind of erasure we try to combat during Bi Visibility Week.
Anyways, since I bared my soul last year and told you guys all about what male and female celebrities I fancy, I thought I might give others a chance to have a go. And I especially wanted to ask my gay and straight identified friends their thoughts on the subject of attraction that exists "outside their box". To my surprise, I got a bunch of really great responses. And they all help drive the point that gay, straight, bi, pan, fluid, queer, or whatever...we all exsit on a spectrum. The boundaries aren't as harsh or clear cut as you think. Every identity can leave some room for experimenting or trying new things. AND THAT'S OKAY!

As a bisexual person I really appreciate open minded people like this. I think that it's really important that people aren't closed minded and shelter themselves off to only one gender forever, but are willing to love even if it comes in unexpected forms. Amazing video as always RJ ❤️

It means that you don't feel sexual attraction but romantic atraction. So you can be asexual panromantic or bisexual heteroromantic etc. It is to specify your feelings towards genders. Often the diffrent kinds of attraction come combined, but sometimes not :)

I personally believe that no matter what your sexual orientation is, it is possible to fall in love with someone (find your soul mate, etc) in a person that doesn't fit into your sexual orientation group. In which case if you really love them, you may have to figure out how to adjust your sexual actions to not necessarily fit into your sexual orientation. But if you really love that person, you have to try to make it work. You should never say, there is no way you would have a committed relationship with someone, because they don't fit into your sexual orientation. You could miss out on finding your soul mate.

I'm lesbian and honestly there isn't a single man that I have ever heard of that I would "go bi" for. I'm not closed to the idea of possibly falling for a man's personality, but I identify as who I am and I am who I am and there is honestly no one that I have ever met, heard of or seen who could convince me to change that.

I'm bi and I really liked this! I really think it helps demonstrate how sexuality isn't black and white, which for many people is the first step to coming to terms with identifying as bi. After all it doesn't have to be 50/50 for you to be bi and it's all about whatever label u feel most comfortable with.

Thank you so much for pointing out that if you discover something new about yourself it doesn't make your old self a lie. I'm bisexual but I only recently discovered it and it's made me feel really guilty for the last almost two years because none of my friends knew what was going on in my head and to then come out to them made me feel like I had been lying to them for the beginning of our friendships. So it's really good to hear somebody else say that, especially because I know it's the truth but anxiety doesn't let me always remember it.

Then I really loved when Kalel said, "Right place. Right person. Right time. It could be possible?" Combine those two phrases and you've basically got where I am at. Anyways! Awesome video, and I would probably go bi for Kate Beckinsale (have you SEEN Underworld?) or Angelina Jolie (probably because she played Lara Croft and that archaeologist has a soft spot in my heart).

Whenever RJ posts videos about being bisexual there is a long screed of comments of folks lamenting the fact that they feel misunderstood or folks don't like them or so in so won't date them. Here's an idea, instead of worrying about the folks who don't like you, won't date you, don't understand you, focus on the folks who DO. If someone doesn't want to date you or be your friend, move on. There are millions of people in the world, don't obsessive over what you don't have, appreciate what you do. And if you don't have a supportive community, make one, you have access to the Internet and there is every possible kind of person online to connect with and even extend those connections into the real world.

I've had this thought for a while that everyone is a little bit bi. Even though I identify as a straight girl; not going to lie, when a girl has a nice butt I'm going to stare at it or take notice when a girl is attractive. On the "gay scale" sexually I am a 8.5-9... Ok a 10. I'm a 💫 gay lol. However there are three people I would go BI for... One is not a famous person but a dear friend of mine.. Since reading recently about the ace spectrum, I've begun to understand better about the blurred lines within a spectrum, rather than relying on the number system of the Kinsey scale, which has helped me realise that the edge between bi and straight or gay doesn't necessarily make that person bi if they mostly identify one way or another. That feeling of belonging to one more than another is what's the most important. If there is an occasional exception to that, it doesn't invalidate their identity. I just think that's important to understand, rather than opposing your own identity on others who might not share it. Understanding comes with a mind open to all perspectives.

I identify as a lesbian BUT I say I'm around a 4 on the kinsey scale because some guys are just wow (Parker Cannon, Joe Taylor, PJ Liguori, Dan Howell, Ben Barlow, and many more). But what I loved about this video is that it shows how fluid sexuality can be which not many people understand. I have a friend who is also a Kinsey scale 4 but identifies as bisexual and I think that's a good example of how labels aren't as concrete as everyone thinks that they are.Just like you said, sometimes people who identify as a label can always have a little wiggle room. I don't know about celebrities, I would "go bi" for a girl with the right kind of attitude, but I can't think of someone who would qualify. Her looks would matter very little though, I don't understand the thinking behind the choices in this video, most seem to be choosing based on attractiveness, but at the same time they're _not_ attracted to the same sex, so I'm like... puzzled.

Hahaha, that's how I found out I was Bi in the first place. It all started with how physically flawless Kat Dennings is. I came to the conclusion that I would completely be with Kat Dennings and then I started going down the line of my favorite actresses. Would I date Julia Roberts? Fuck Yeah! Would I date Emma Watson? or Drew Barrymore or Brittany Murphy or Angelina Jolie or Lady Gaga and so on Then I asked myself if I would kiss or date certain girls in my school that I noticed differently than the others. A lot of thinking later and I looked up Bisexuality. Now it's a few years later and that was the best thing I've ever found out about myself

I think it's important for people to recognize that the gender identity of who you would be willing to have sex with is not the sole means by which you should determine your sexual orientation. I identify as gay. I have only ever had sexual relationships with men, and while I have found women who I think are aesthetically attractive I have never encountered a woman to whom I felt a sexual attraction. But could I have sex with a woman? Sure! It's not like 'gay' as a label makes you incapable of achieving an erection if the opposite gender is the one touching your naughty bits. But if I could choose a woman with whom I wouldn't mind being with? I think I'd pick Meryl Streep. She's talented, accomplished and quite intelligent. She's more mature than a lot of the women people in your video selected, but as far as beauty goes she looks phenomenal. Also I feel there is a certain gravitas with the experience of having sex with Meryl Streep. My one fear is that she would give me that look from The Devil Wears Prada. You know... the "I'm so disappointed in you, were you even trying?" look.

Logan Lerman or Joseph Gordon-Levitt. But I'm a Kinsey 4, so a vast range of guys is possible! My sexuality is a little bit fluid day to day, and fluctuates over the years. I don't really know where I fit on the scale but if I got to pick someone from both ends of the gender spectrum to fool around with I would choose Shemar Moore and Demi Lovato or Ruby-Rose (I can't pick between them). But I think for me it's more about the attraction of the personality and character and their looks and gender are more of a secondary consideration, at least in terms of whether I develop feelings for someone, but personality etc does play the bigger part in my levels of attraction for someone.

I think Colby had a good idea, a couple that exists does help narrow it down... I don't know if I could give up my gold star status, but I think Chris Pratt and Anna Farris would mesh best with my personality, so it would be easiest for me to go bi for them.

I'm already bi, but is fun to answer this. In my "straight time" I "went bi" for Hayley Williams, Emma Watson, Lana del Rey and Victoria Justice. Now, I'll go gay for them, and for Ruby Rose lol. Now that I'm bi more attracted to girls, I would go fully bi or fully straight for Justin Bieber of course ! And for Taylor York (Paramore guitarrist)

My ladies of choice would be Tatiana Maslany, Olivia Munn, Evelyne Brochú, and Hayley Attwell. I am a bisexual woman, so I have thought about this list a lot. As for the men I'm most definitely attracted to, Sebastian Stan tops that list every time.

+John Paul Attraction. Whereas romance is based more on emotion. So it's possible to be physically attracted to one set and emotionally attracted to another.

Bravo! i technically identify as heterosexual/straight, but have always said if i fall in love with a person and they're not a man i'm not gonna be closed minded about it. The older i get the less i care about peoples thoughts on my sexuality and the more open i am. At this point I basically just use the label to more highlight my life experiences (recognize my privilege etc). I am in a committed heterosexual relationship but there are definitely women I'm attracted to. Emma Watson hands down I would go bi for she only need ask ;). Ruby Rose, and Keira Knightley are also faves.
