One quick story that kind of helps explain why I like to share my Porsche Cayman with other people. CAVEAT: This is a childhood memory that has been dramatized.
Amzing story! I can really imagine that this has been a highlight moment of your vacation. I had a cool experience as well when i was a little guy. I was 10 years old and offcoarse i was obsessed with anything car related. I asked my mom what Ferrari owners did for a living and she told me i could just ask. So next time i saw one i walked up to the owner of a red 360 Modena and straight forward asked. Amazingly he took the time to get a cup of coffee and talk about how he started and what he did for business and stuff. We talked about cars for a bit and eventually i offered to pay for the coffee because his time was so valuable for me. He offered me a ride home because he liked my generousity. Amazing experience, i will never forget this!
Great story. Off to a good start evangelizing. I stumbled on to your channel because I have taken a liking to the Cayman and wanted to learn more about it. You truly have done a nice job expressing most anything a future Cayman buyer may want to know. As far as you being a car guy, I think you now have enough Cayman content that you can transition to other cars as well as opinions or vlog responses to other channels. :)
I grew up around cars. My Dad sold auto parts. And yes, I also love to let kids who want to sit in one of my cars do it. I even let the adults sit in the cars too (if they want to). Fun video. Thanks!
That is sooo cool. Oddly I'm the same. I was lucky enough to have a stranger let me drive his Ferrari Testarossa while I was at an Italian Car meet. Now when I take people out in my Cayman S, I tend to offer them a drive. Some turn it down. ON the occasions when I'm not sure if I'm going to offer them a drive, I remind myself that I was allowed to drive my all time dream car. A friggin TESTAROSSA!
Someone Sitting in my car. Yes. Someone Driving it. Ehhhh I'm not quite there yet lol. I've had it almost a year now and I'm thinking about letting my wife drive it sometime...
