I got a compliment on my 2024 GR Corolla from my ex, but yes, most of the attention I've received have been from guys. I may buy a Porsche, so that's why I'm here lol.
8:17 The data actually say 7 liter per 100 km / 33mpg on high way speeds, that is same as my MB 190 2.0 liter, and the city driving is also same. People that own the S models has also reported 7 liter on the highway. Mixed driving fuel consumption I NEVER look at because that varies wildly on where and how you drive. I Only look at how much a car uses at highway speeds.
The thing is that the difference between the 2,7 and the 3,4 is small... But those that has the 3,4 with 320hp also complain that it could have had a little more power, so if you buy the 2,7 or the 3,4liter it do not matter much, both has a little to little power. Most of those that bought the S model feel happy they went with the larger one, and the people that went for the 2,7 say that are happy with that as the difference to the S model is so small that they feel they are not loosing out on anything really.
Every single thing is just wear and tear. The leather seat wear - I’ve seen worse on a 4 year old Audi SQ , or anything really. It falls into the “look after your fkn sh*t” bucket. You like it, look after it. End of
This is a really really good video explaining how you yourself are not a truck guy… well, informed video with clear and precise, explanations, and descriptions… well done
If I’m buying one I will not settle for the 5 speed manual but go for the s model 6 speed instead!😮 Having to wait few more months to get something that will be enjoyable for many years to come it would be well worth waiting in my opinion…
I wanted to add (because it is very important to me personally) that you can fit a full-sized hardshell acoustic guitar case on top of the engine shelf. Amusing side-note, when these first came out and I thought that some day in the future I'd be able to afford one, I went down to the Porsche dealer in Greenwich CT where a very nice dealer was kind enough to let me see if my guitar would fit. It actually fit leaning against the rear edge of the shelf, but since I now have a 2006 Cayman S, I think the top shelf is a better place.
I just bought a 2024 ST with the 401A package and the Performance Brake and Tire package. What an amazing vehicle. The Pirelli P Zeros stick like glue. An awesome performance SUV for sure.
@@3joewj Joe, from what I have seen, if you don't get the performance Brake and Tire package, you won't get the full benefit of the vehicle. Minimal body roll, cornering is awesome. There is a really cool RU-vid video titled- 2019 Ford Edge ST: Top 10 Things You Need To Know. A lot of good tech specs. Check it out. In answer to your question. It handles like a sports car in suv clothing! Awesome!
@@jamesparrish9613 nice..thats what i thought. I test drove the acura rdx and its nice but i wasn't that impressed. Then I drove the ford edge titanium and i thought if this was sportier it would be the one. Thank you for the feedback. I will search that video.
@@3joewjThe titanium and ST drive completely differently. The Titanium is comfortable but boring. The ST is fun. I have a 2022 and love driving it. It’s the best highway vehicle I’ve ever been in for sure.
I did a few modifications all at the same on my 2010 Cayman S. Installed headers, Remus race cat back, K&N air filter, de-snorkeled the air intake, IPD comp plenum with 82 mm TB. I wanted to make sure nothing was wrong before I installed the HIP clear engine cover. Yup it's loud and hot with no closure, but when sealed with the HIP cover it's sounds great and not hot. The stock aluminum cover and thickly foamed carpet deadens all the music out. Enjoy your Cayman.
I was expecting this video to be COMMON PROBLEMS with the PORSCHE CAYMAN but it was much more common problems that ANY car can have. Collision damage?!? A broken windshield?!? What's next? It needs new tires and am oil change? Or possibly, it might even need the gas tank filled up. Dang! Sell that car! It's got WAY too many problems!😂
07:27 Did you know, on the tankdoor there is a little hole you can stick your gascap on it? This way, you never can lose or forget the gascap, bc it cant close when is stick on the door
depends on your insurance agent, try to get a Vin number of one and get a quote with it, I've heard mix things saying it's more expensive than a civic or some cases they say it's less.
Yeah they did hobble the cayman, look at the 718 GTS 4.0 it can be done, and could have been done earlier. lol re a normie knowing what a cayman is - I had that exact conversation with the normie thinking it was the suv.
