Nice little callback to Superman, flying round the world to reverse time. This time to build power and momentum, to separate the worlds, but we can see the inspiration for it
The true power demonstration of a fully charged Kryptonian was amazingly done. Next, he proceeded to put the smack down by splitting Ally in two and then forcing the two earths apart with an incredible burst of power👏! He then took a modest bow after a powerful landing in Smallville town square!!! 👏👏👏👏 Truly, an “All-Star” Superman!!
He has watched too many MCU movies to do that weak legged "superhero landing" 😂 It's ok for ordinary human in suit after landing from a bit high altitude, but Superman can just slow down before landing and not to kneel😂😂
@@Nicoshawty202 He was. I think it was Superman I or where he (spoilers ahead) found Lois Lane in her car dead after getting buried alive by a rock slide that was caused by an earthquake. He reversed the rotation of the Earth to turn back time just enough to save her, then restored its proper rotation.
Man, listen! He is the *BEST* live-action Superman since Reeve! I don’t know how Cornswet’s going to do in Superman, but Tyler is the best modern interpretation ever as far as I’m concerned. No one is filling his boots anytime soon for me.
This shows why Superman is the greatest superhero of all. It shows the potential power he has, it shows how he overcomes any obstacle no matter what the odds, it shows his compassion as he is willing to stop his enemies without resorting to killing them or letting them die, and it shows that above fighting villains he is here to help the world(s). Superman will always be my favorite superhero.
@@nickanders6836 hey Tyler Hoechlin was born to play superman he is so Alsome and this is my favorite superman tyler Heoechlin is a good superman tyler Heoechlin and herny cavill is my favorite superman
Love Henry Cavill but this is by far the best Superman version. The sun glowing through him the way it did. We are in New and uncharted territory with this Superman. Hate that they have to recast one of the sons though
sadly they didnt have to, i mean look at ezra miller a known criminal AND paedo and they didnt recast him, loo0k at AH, a proven abuser and habitual liar, didnt get fired either...oh right my bad i keep forgetting straight males are the only still allowed to be fired for mere accusations(much less anything else
@@superrenai9338 Already have... I still think some these plot arcs would be even more impressive on the big screen. Maybe its just a generational thing but TV movies never match theatrical releases. Of course, in this time of chaotic change, most people have huge TV screens at home.
@@kathleenhensley5951 Yeah some of the plots from this series would indeed be impressive if they were used in a movie. Maybe one day it will be used. Watching the series on a big to screen maybe indeed may give a similar experience.
@@superrenai9338 My TV is ancient ..late 1980s or early 1990s. I know we owned it in 2001. I really wouldn't mind a bigger screen but I don't really need a new TV. Put it under wants, not needs header.
This show definitely highlights that Superman isn't a perfect boy scout...he has those moments of anger or 'do I really have to save her' that he struggles with...love that!
I 🤔 Lois might of merged with her bizarro self from the questions she is asking the parasite twins. plus Lois can understand the backwards language of the other bizarro twin
I don't think so. Neither her nor her Bizarro version would've wanted that. Also, Bizzaro Allie said only 3 things. 1. What do you want? 2. Joy. 2. Alone. I don't think it was to hart for her to understand 6 words backwards.
DC has always been good at TV shows and not so much for movies. However, it's the opposite for Marvel traditionally in the past. Great movies...not so great TV shows. Disney streaming although, in my opinion, has changed that a bit.
I hated the fact only 1 of the brothers got powers and the other didn't get any, I'd have loved to have see the powerless bro get something in the final season
Why does Superman and Lois not take place on Earth-Prime. He was there when it was created, had a chat with Lois about their boys, and he had a seat at the round table in The Hall of Justice. I don't understand the reasoning.
The creation of new multiverse by Oliver put him on another earth and I’m glad that they did it this way. Arrowverse is too far gone to fuck up this great show.
It was supposed to in the beginning. But then Covid happened and they creators made the decision to make it a separate Earth. Of course, they strung us along for two seasons before revealing that. There was a planned crossover with Batwoman. They also brought Diggle over and promoted his stop in Metropolis (on Superman and Lois) as one of several stops he made through the Arrowverse/other shows (Batwoman, The Flash) to sell the idea that they were all on Earth Prime. Once they pivoted and revealed in the final episode of Season Two, this episode, that it is a different Earth, they stated that the Diggle we saw was a different Diggle as well.
The callback to the first Superman movie (him flying around the planet to reverse something) was a nice touch. Tbh though, I thought things felt...resolved too quickly? The episode and previous episode did have multiple attempts to stop her. I guess my feeling is that it was eventually brute strength that stopped her and that felt like a cop out. It's not clear why Tal Rho couldn't have just flown into the sun to power up and stop Ally. Is Superman really that much stronger than Tal? That was not addressed.
Yeah you’re right. I think maybe Tal could have been powered up strongly as well but there was a big chance of getting killed so Clark decided that he should do it. And also he mentioned that there’s a big difference when Tal did it before because he was the Eradicator
@@saven0mb0ss47 True true, you're right that they had no idea if it would work/would kill them and Clark was willing to make that sacrifice. As far as I remember though, I don't think Tal-Rho flew into the sun as the Eradicator. I believe he just flew in front of it.
Superman is a different type of Kryptonian. firstly they have mentioned he was born of a natural birth. while other Kryptonian's are artificially made. so he is the strongest of his race and therefore capable of feats they can only dream of
@@ashtonjackfanny You're right that the show tells us that Superman was born differently from other Kryptonians. I'm not sure that the show implies that makes him stronger, though. It was used more so to show the difference between him and Tal - one was wanted while the other was expected. This impacted their psychology. If anything, Tal was the result of a genetic match while Superman was not, so that might mean he is assumed/supposed to be "stronger" - it reminds me of the film Gattaca if you've seen that. And Tal underwent brutal training at the hands of Zeta-Rho to make him less vulnerable to pain. And who knows what power boost he might get from being the Eradicator. However, Superman could have a certain je ne sais quoi that makes him more powerful than Tal.
@@ashtonjackfanny No him being naturally born doesn't change his physiology. The change is how he was on earth and developed his powers under the yellow sun. Clark came to earth as an infant and grew up under the sun therefore makes him the strongest. In contrast to Tal he came as a child but was locked away for most of his childhood deprived of the Earth's Sun.
No. He did absorbs Bizzaro’s power to be immune to his weakness of red solar sun. If you see the red solar flowed in his Superman’s S Shield, it shows that Bizzaro is already merged inside him. He forever gained his power and has the ice vision and heat breath powers too. He chose not to use it against the parasites during his battle to Ally. Had he used it, Ally would be permanently froze for good, but the merging will continue. That’s why he chose not to use Bizarro’s power within himself.
Like how they really didn’t have a way to seperate the now combined earth so he just slammed the power of the sun????? Into the earth and bam fixed earth
Impressive visuals in the action scenes! Sooo… how did the Allys get de-powered? And since they can’t “live like that” but are apparently doing exactly that, what will happen to them?
I imagine the version of (Jonathan Kent) from Seasons #1 & #2, of (SUPERMAN & LOIS) show series, that was played by actor JORDAN ELSASS, that version of (Jonathan Kent) exists in the realm of EARTH-20.
So did he blow up that other world or did his punch cause a cause a black hole to send the other planet somewheres else and if so where did the red sun go??
I think he punched the entire bizzaro universe back to it dimension,, coz even the bizzaro two suns were merging with the other one which means it was the whole universe
and yet teh villain di dnt get what they deserved...AGAIN...what is it nowadays with letting villains(particularly female ones) off with little to no actual repercussions?
I know I know but they could have let Jordan join him, I mean somehow Ally's people came with powers and boom Superboy is like. You handle the Earth I got these people.
It’s season 2 episode 15 from the show Superman & Lois. What’s going on (might be spoilerish if you’re not caught up with the show, so only keep reading if you don’t mind learning soms spoilers) Ally Allison tries to bring together two seperat worlds.
So Superman has weak legs, have to kneel when landing🤣 Like he couldn't just slow down, not to drop like a stone. So stupid to put him land in so ridiculous way.
@@miheelndeva5274 No dramatic there, just boring cliche not fitting for a character strong enough to lift biggest ships etc. So called "superhero landing" is for me "chicken leg landing". Even olympic gymnastics can land from high jumps without being forced to kneel like weaklings.
Out of all the Superman villains they could have chosen. They decided to do an overly long story arch on a random old white woman they made glow in the dark. Sigh...
Why is this getting so much praise? The effects are college level, and the writing and acting is even worse, not to mention the premise is completely cliche and uninteresting.
