In 2019 this channel will mostly focus on my decision to quit my corporate job and travel the country in my 1999 Jeep Cherokee XJ. Videos will include images of my travels and the experiences I encounter.
I have 2 channels on You Tube. The difference between the two is that this channel will show more adventure videos, have shorter (and to the point) discussions, and lean more toward my experiences involving my Jeep.
The other channel "Into the Unknown" will also show some adventure videos, but I will go into longer discussions, and more in depth, about certain topics like finances, tips and tricks to living on the road, and talking through various activities.
This channel also includes videos of what I have done to my 99 Cherokee XJ, mostly involving storage solutions and other random ideas I have.
Other topics include: - Product reviews of equipment I have on my XJ - Organization solutions I use - Harbor freight and other store purchase reviews
Hey I appreciate you being so thorough but if you didn't have a leak in the evaporator coil it was totally unnecessary to replace it. I understand the heater coil going bad because it's copper but the evaporator coil is aluminum and usually doesn't need replacing.
Wrong, wrong wrong!! That rod is threaded for a reason, it's supposed to turn! Just push that green clip on the bottom of that rod and push it to the left. The rod pops out. Then turn that rod to the right, two or three times. Push the rod back into the clip. Push the clip to the right and you are done.
What was your altitude when you were getting the better gas mileage? I noticed my mileage went up to 22 mpg from a more typical 18 mpg at sea level. My brother who is a pilot told me that it had more to do with the O2 sensors dialing back the fuel feed to balance for the thinner oxygen than any aerodynamic drag reduction, if that makes any sense.
Well reasoned, particularly enjoyed the gear you’ve selected and why. That’s why I’m curious of the type of gear you’ve chosen to Carry in the Plano boxes?
some have coffee vending machines and some even have ice cream vending, picnic tables all over the place and even walking trails. if you could afford the gas you could go from rest area to rest area to live if you live in your vehicle.
Worked well for my 01 XJ. Turned out my handle wasn’t contacting the release arm at all in the closed position. Undid the clip at the bottom holding the threaded rod in place and threaded the whole arm in more until it was touching the handle. Now the hatch is smooth as butter🤌🏼
Very helpful. I used a couple of push nut fasteners on top of the threaded rod once I got it adjusted instead of zip ties. I think those push nuts will hold tight! I stacked three of them just for extra holding. Thanks again.
