Keep taking initiative with your forehand, yes making high percentage shots will beat most players but the next level really requires that initiative with the forehand, serve and return. Ur opponent was very weak with on the run forehands so instead of using his pace try to have more inszneify and focus on your forehand and you will be so much better, you have the tools now put them to use and execute
That sound of the stupid beach tennis ball. It's horrible. You're playing with a cheese board with a plastic beach ball with holes in it. Barely any movement. You could do this sport sitting on a chair. I feel sorry for anyone loving close to these courts. In Europe a lot of fuzz is about the sound of padel, but this is even worse.
I just started a couple months ago. Coming from table tennis as my main racket sport. Imo the fun is the tactics around the NVZ - no other racket sport has a mechanism to reliably get back to a neutral game state. Once you get comfortable with the third shot drop and only pepper in drives the game gets a whole lot more interesting 👍👍 good luck
Welcome back. I used to really enjoy your 5.0 USTA tennis videos (I am a 3.5 but so far 5-1 this season, am as old as you). Out of curiosity, have you hung up your tennis racket permanently and if so why? Definitely can see the high level tennis habits in this video.
So I play 4.0 and 4.5 tennis here in St. Louis. Your observations are spot on. I'm a baseline guy. Agassi was the shiz-nit growing up. Every time I play pickleball my partner is telling me to come up to the net as I just want to set at the baseline and drill passing shots, which is very hard to do in pickleball. Net games in tennis do not translate well to pickleball net games. I wish I could play more pickleball, but it's hard to break into a "click" here. Just need to keep trying.
I never bring enough water or towels for anything. Great playing Andrew that looks fun, I think you just finalized my decision to give pickleball a full try.
It's interesting to watch a 5.0 match after watching a 4.5 match. The difference is the fire in the pace of the balls. Helpfully it's s not THAT hard to learn how to have a massive forehand. Probably one of the easier things to learn. Being good at the net ... and being good on second serves ... is probably harder. Great match. Well filmed.
Hey man. Been a few years since i watched 1 of your videos. Youve improved alor. Still kinda content with the grinder mentality. Not that theres anythiing wrong with that. Im sure its won you a ton of matches. Keep improving. Might wanna think about developing a weapon other than consistency and your athleticism now that your playing 5.0. A few free points in games would make you so mich tougher to play. Good job tho
No issues with assembly for me ru-vid.comUgkxHL1v1R3NE5x4KiYfyt8dnQmyNYz7qi5L but I could see where some might benefit from using an experienced bike assembler/mechanic. I'm an older rider starting back after a 10 year break. This bike exceeds my capabilities and has been easy to get comfortable riding. I'm mostly on easy trails with almost no street riding and have not been disappointed with the performance of the bike. My fitness level is far below what I previously rode with and because of that the mileage is going on the bike slowly. While I'm losing weight slowly, the bike seems to tolerate my 220 pounds just fine. The bike has been used by several family members ranging from 5'5" - 5'9".
