This is a review channel, combined with a sprinkle of reaction highlights, to show what resonates with me when trying something new in a world of fandoms and stanning! No context, no prior information, and little to no instructions, just suggestions from you! I'll be trying new music, new shows, and learning new skills, sharing my thoughts with you along the way! Grow and expand your horizons with me, or just come for a laugh at my lack of knowledge as I break out of my comfort zone!

from Eden is one of my favorite songs ever. let me explain the story. the two outlaws are NOT the kids parents, but when they break into an abandoned house they found the kid. they took him along because he was better off with them than he would be alone. the song was written from the view point of the devil looking into the garden of Eden yearning for something he can never have.
I really loved how you broke down the lyrics and videos cause there were things you said that I was like "oh yeah, that makes sense" or you put words to what I was thinking. Like for example the pink pony club and you said at first nobody noticed her and slowly one by one , like with the guitar, she was seen and felt seen and comfortable
This was me a week ago. Same reaction and everything and I also live under a rock 🤣. I found her last week and listened to good luck babe first and it was sheer pleasure in my ears, like it shook something in me, and now ive listened to all her songs and I love every single one. (And im just an old 45f been married 23 years with 4 kids who are grown. I say this cause im not young or cool or anything and am stuck in the 90s, as my kids say, but I can't stop listening to her songs)
the song that plays when she sees the window for the first time is called crying. It also plays when she sees the blakc house for the firtst time but we only hear the drums intro. That is not sweat. It is crying
honestly i think you'd love all the stick season tracks and i would pay money to see a reaction to the full album bc its a beautiful album with wonderful lyricism
It’s really a great litmus test of people, if they cry to “Pink Pony Club” or just think it’s a bop. I’ve never really had that experience of the safe space and I wept for that the moment I heard the song. It’s so beautiful.
Absolutely love you!! Noah Kahan is one of my favorites and I got so excited when I saw this video. Would highly recommend: Call your mom Young blood Maine If we were vampires (with Wesley Schultz of the lumineers!) You’re gonna go far
By far the best and most on point reaction to Orange Juice I’ve seen on RU-vid! You understood all the nuance and how it was a complicated song from both perspectives. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Another song from Noah Kahan's Stick Season is HOMESICK! I highly recommend it. As someone who is also from the northwest, I feel like Noah Kahan captures the northeast in a way that is so, so familiar to the opposite coast.
I love come on baby cry. To me it's a coming out song. Orville is encouraging all the sad boys like him to let it out and stop hiding their true feelings. And as the song progresses the hostile bar full of toxic men transforms around the guy in the closet into a welcoming place of safety as he gets the courage to let himself cry it all out.
I wanna see you do a Trying To Stan: BadFlower every song is a banger but my votes for recommendations, in order, are: 1) Machine Gun 2) The Jester 3) Let The Band Play 4) Ghost Been watching your videos for four years and I finally thought of a band that I would LOVE to hear your initial thoughts/reactions on as well as your personal understandings/reasonings behind the songs lyrics 🫶🏻
You should really react to Stray Kids. They're absolutely amazing and the vocals and choreography on all of there songs are amazing. Some of my suggestions would be: MANIAC, God's Menu, S-Class and Megaverse
Im pretty sure no one gets this, but the "sex yeah we are" at 18:07 reminds me of that one bit from Game Changer where the contestants couldnt swear, but also realized that they could say c*m, so we ended up with some of them saying "c*m yeah" instead of "fuck yeah"
9:14 my mom, sisters and i stood outside the courthouse in a small town in tx for a peaceful protest a couple years ago. i played this song on repeat for hours. this song works wonders on the mind and soul of anyone who truly *hears* it. i am flabbergasted to exist in the same lifetime/time period with Hoziers poetry and mindset
You should take a look at a Nonsense Outros compilation. When she wrote it, they wrote a bunch of different ridiculous lines for the outtro, so when she started performing it live she'd do a different once each time. Then she started writing new outtros for each event or city she performed the song in. They are raunchy and hilarious and so fun
As a young queer person i was crying right beside you!! I went to my first pride this year and pink pony girl makes me sob everytime. seeing the community grow at the end of the video 😭
It’s been a really long time since you listened to BTS and blackpink, are you going to listen to any other kpop groups? like tomorrow by together or enhypen? 😊😊
Interestingly, I don't think homophobia is a thing on the Boiling Isles. Odalia sounds like she's going all 'phobe for a second, but then she clarifies that she wants Amity to have a non-criminal girlfriend. Don't get me wrong, Odalia can still eat an entire bag of dicks, but for reasons unrelated to homophobia.
oh hell yes so now I plug the DANCE CROSSOVER I first heard False Confidence because Sean Lew and Kaycee Rice danced to it (50M views, nbd), and then Noah invited them to do it at his concert!! Sean and Kaycee are also phenomenal storytellers, and I love seeing wholesome people collab (repeat this sentiment for Hozier, but you already found that one) 🥰
When the trapper was talking about King getting the skull from his dad, I originally took it as just a genetic inheritance thing. But, of course, they meant it as more of an heirloom thing.
There's something so beautiful about new fans saying Wowaka's stage name. Rolling Girl prevented my own death several times, using the mantra, "One more time," as a crutch. Rest in blissful peace, Wowaka 🩵🩵🩵🩵🩵
highly recommend the following songs!! The View Between Villages (Extended Edition), Carlo's Song, Call Your Mom, Godlight, Homesick, Growing Sideways, Maine. Those are some good ones that hit pretty hard :D
