I’m sorry you didn’t have any luck. I assume you’re using Nespresso capsules. If the machine is running and you’ve put water in the tube, it should work. Perhaps your machine is having a different problem.
You absolutely can. I just happened to have frozen cooked shrimp in the freezer. I thawed it, brought it to room temp, tossed it in and it was ready in 5 minutes without getting rubbery
You're a legend!!! Thank you so much!!! Fixed it in ten seconds with your hack! Machine was not in use for five years and now it works again, like new!!! Thanks again❤
A legend?! Wow, that feels good. 😊 I'm really glad this worked for you. I discovered this fix under the same circumstances. I had a machine that I hadn't used in years. Now, mine too is like new. Thanks for commenting. I really appreciate it.
It worked PERFECTLY!! So happy!! I can't thank you enough. I was just getting ready to take it to a repair shop or buy a new one. But now all is GREAT!!! THANKS AGAIN!
Hmm. This is interesting. Let's break down how the machines work with pods. Each variety of pod has a different bar code printed on it. The machine "reads" the code to know, depending on your machine, if it's pumping out an espresso or a longer coffee. I suspect the machine has buildup inside. Try this: unplug your machine, open it and, using a very soft, barely damp cloth, clean around the interior and the areas where the machine touches the pod. This might solve your problem. Please let me know if this works. And good luck!
@@AtHomewithAnitaRosner hey :) I tried that, but it still doesn’t pump. I’m using the Lavazza coffee pods which were fine before, but now I’m wondering if I’ve got a bad batch with the new box because I tried a N’espresso capsule and that works fine. So it must be the pod itself.
The disappointment when our machine of 3 yrs & well maintained stopped with no water coming through. My husband said we would buy another one ( I said no ) so he suggested we check RU-vid- thank you Anita, 3 goes and we have coffee 🙏🏼
This looks great. Our son made a very similar dish for my wife's birthday last winter...pretty much the same minus the provolone but plus mozzarella. A side of spaghetti instead of fries and the salad but I do want to do the salad and fries thing the next time! Brava, Cuz. See you again soon, I hope!
Hmm...this is a tricky one, because the heat of the microwave can "set" stains. I have two suggestions: 1. Try scrubbing the plates with half a lemon dipped in coarse salt (a salt scrub for your plates). 2. Make a solution of water and bleach. I'd say 1 cup of bleach to a gallon of water. Let the plates soak overnight. After, make sure to wash them super thoroughly with dish detergent. Preferably, wash them in the dishwasher. Good luck!
Here comes another impressed and grateful viewer writing in to report your fix worked perfectly. The hardest part was finding a straw long enough to do the trick. For what it is worth to others, for me the air bubble (I didn't know at the time what it was) happened right after I completed a descaling cycle. I had run descaler solution through 3 times. I was attempting to run the clean water through to rinse the machine but that's when the pump started getting no water. Anyway, the fix was easy as is pointed out in this video. Machine works like new again. Definitely give it a try if your machine is acting up similarly.
Thank you for this lovely comment. Descaling can be a headache for the reason you described and also for overheating the motor. So here's another little tip: If you're descaling and suddenly nothing seems to be working, walk away. Let the machine cool down for about 20 minutes and then you should be back in business.
Wow. Geez. I spent all kinds of time trying to figure this out and couldn’t. Watched several videos. We split time between MO and FL so it had sat all winter. How in the world did you figure this out? Nice! And THANKS!! I literally almost threw it in the trash.
I know how you felt...I was getting so frustrated with the customer service rep. Then I tried all the "fixes" on RU-vid. Nothing helped. Then I came up with this idea and it worked! So glad it worked for you, too.
Btw. My wife was the one who found your video. And implemented the fix. I was done with it. I Guess if you want something done ask a woman to figure it out!😂
Thank you! Works perfectly. Just remember to have a cup under the spout and a paper towel at the ready for water to flow. Worth the minor inconvenience...such a panic when the Nespresso doesn't instantly perform.
That was made by a company called Dean & Deluca. Unfortunately, they no longer make them. But you can make your own! I found this for you, which is very similar: amzn.to/3WmJaza
Thank you so much for uploading this. I was somewhat near the playground. I dont know if you heard me and my brother cheering! At first we thought it was storm clouds moving in! I have a video of our reactions on my channel and its priceless 😆 I woke up at 5 am, did a 4 hour 30 minute drive and got there at around 9:30. Well worth it. This captured EXACTLY what it was like!
I just watched your video. I love your reaction. How funny that we shared this experience "together"! I have to say, it was one of the joys of my life and surprising emotional. I hope I see another one day...somewhere! Thanks for your comment.
Unfortunately, that is true (not sure about "the mob" part). However, certain brands are certified and tested to be pure olive oil and many are very affordable. Here's more information. Thanks for your comment. www.aboutoliveoil.org/79-certified-pure-and-authentic-olive-oils
Thank you. That's very sweet of you to say. You can use instant espresso. I used King Arthur's espresso baking powder. Here's a link if you're interested. amzn.to/3Q6rLHc
Try this: Turn the machine on. When the buttons illuminate, press the "Lungo" button and fully open the hatch where you put the coffee pods and leave it open. (Do not add a pod!). This should start the flow of water. Simply press the Lungo button again to stop the water flow. I hope this works. If not, you might need to descale your machine. Good luck!
Let's try a few things, Frances...First, make sure the machine is running. Next, make sure there's water in your tube before you blow. One other things you can try is this: Take the water reservoir off the machine and (holding over the sink), press up on the gasket from underneath and make sure water comes out. It could be stuck. Good luck!
Anita, you're an angel. We watched other videos and tried various things, but nothing worked until we saw your video about clearing air bubbles. We used a small plastic hose that worked just as well as your straw. We don't know how to thank you enough. Please keep posting helpful videos!
Yay!!! Congratulations, Susan. I know what you mean about those other videos. I watched them too and nothing worked. I finally resigned myself to coughing up the money to have it fixed and shipping it away for who-knows-how-long. Then I thought, “hmm, let me just try one more thing.” And TADA! A video was born. Glad you liked it. Thanks for writing.
Anita - Someday, one of the big TV channels is going to scoop you up for a daily news "At Home" segment...or better yet, a full-on "At Home with Anita" series on HGTV. Watch out, Martha Stewart! :-)
