Hello! My name is Martin and this is my channel. I'm a Scottish metalhead/geek/gamer/maker and fixer of things. This is where I upload videos about my interests and hobbies. Quirky pickups, let's repairs, retro and clone consoles, custom mods, handy tips, bargain ebay finds and the occasional vlog.
You could put a Sega Genesis with an AV-RF transmitter, run the genesis on the Game Gear wirelessly and claim that Sega already had a "PS Portal" in 1990
a scorpion XVI russian or ukraine bootleg of genesis with 32x to be clear i did skipped the 32x thing which it is not on my emulation list of retroarch but go for the sega saturn instead. or psone. but james rolfe made this clear on angry video game nerd episode though.
I tried working on mine and I couldn't do itttt... I tried soldering the connecting tips to disconnect it and I couldn't get it to pop off. I felt like it was gonna end up burning the board. Damnit man
1998 I was at university and had a summer job someone brought in a SEGA Game Gear and TV Tuner and we crowded round it to watch some FIFA World Cup France 98 games Cool tech, good times
Hey man I have 3 star fox watches all with the same issue. When a battery is inserted they begin to continuously beep on and off. I took all three apart and cleaned them. I did a visual look at the solder joints and traces. I don't really see any corrosion. Any idea what is going on? I mean all three do the exact same thing. The one I had for a few years and worked last time I had a battery in it. Now nothing.
For anyone with a similar problem, my issue was almost the same but not quite. The headphones wouldn't light up at all. I tried this chap's method, but that didn't work. I tracked it down to the voltage regulator that he was bridging from. Mine was faulty, so i removed the component and bridged the positive to a different chip with the same 5 volts on. I may have been able to leave the chip in place and bridge it, but i didn't try that. Just looks for another component thats exactly the same about 1.5 inches away.
Holy crap! I just realized you're back! After your last video talking about some health and life changes, I thought you were gone forever! So glad to see you back!
This is so cool! Blood Dragon was awesome! 10 years later the link still works. Thank you for sharing! I might just print this and display the box in my gaming corner.
