"I know of no more encouraging fact than the unquestionable ability of man to elevate his life by a conscious endeavor.
It is something to be able to paint a particular picture, or to carve a statue, and so to make a few objects beautiful; but it is far more glorious to carve and paint the very atmosphere and medium through which we look, which morally we can do.
To affect the quality of the day, that is the highest of arts. Every man is tasked to make his life, even in its details, worthy of the contemplation of his most elevated and critical hour. If we refused, or rather used up, such paltry information as we get, the oracles would distinctly inform us how this might be done"
This is cool, thank you. I found this content at a time of life where I’ll be moving out from my parents house finally at 24 years of age. I’ve had a spiritual awakening at the end of last year and It’s a beautiful but capricious journey - I also want to be an influencer, travel and do different things to push this self-liberation and inner mastery journey. So this is exciting content for me
I just watched your video and I really liked the method and I would like to start with it, but I was wondering how you do the cards when it comes to books, do you do it at the end or by chapter? If you could solve the doubt thank you very much, I feel very good video and easy to understand your explanation of the method.
Bro, these situations are like growing on steroids... all skills gained in compressed time frame! So, advice to newbies: "Is blender hard? How much does it take to learn it?" - just get some basic skills in Blender and then jump into "scary" project, then realize your true worth as an artist, fail and rise again - and here is your growth! Awesome effort and dedication, man! I wish you more challenging project in future!
this is to much effort . this maybe possible for very small amounts of information or for high school . But you cant do that in medical school., here you have to be able to read 1000s of pages and remember what you have read. No way to do this method for over 40 subjects each with large textbooks to study.
I found that when I’m about to doze off into sleep, my imagination becomes extremely vivid and detailed (very much photographic like) But during day time, I have so much brain fog I can’t remember the most basic details
I have taught myself to only eat during a four hour window. Been eating this way for four years now. A three day fast is easy. My longest fast was 19 days. That was a bit of a challenge. I can consume THC without getting the munchies. What is my secret? Don’t eat foods that produce dopamine. The worst foods to eat contain sugar. If I eat something sweet I fold like a cheap lawn chair.
The fasting depleted your exposure to dopamine. One you ate food your brain was flooded with dopamine. Sugar consumption has a HUGE impact on dopamine production.
The three rules are: 1. Simplicity 2. Personal Connection 3. Benefit from our Human specific memory Biases and the three key concepts are: 1. Information 2. Translation 3. Representation Step 1: Grab an index card Step 2: Title it with what you want to remember Step 3: Fill the card with information about the subject. Make it sound personal and very informal Step 4: Write your own personal connection to the information Step 5: Draw a picture #MainCharacterDotX
Brother your editing is superb! I wanted to learn that bro. What I can trade is teaching you Filipino and my knowledge in copywriting and mnemonics. PS. Let me know if you're interested! 😊
Brother your system is interesting! When I was in high school and college I was using Harry Lorayne's memory system. I was taking exams like nothing. I can get a perfect recall all the time. I even joined a memory competition back then and we were memorizing a deck of cards, large numbers and binary digits. But, I wanted a simpler system. Because using mnemonics needs time and so much preparation. I'm going back to school after 10 years of graduating from college. I'm taking law school. Your system will be perfect. Since we need to read a lot. I'm wondering if you have a blog. I'm more of a reader. Anyways, more power to your channel! 😊 PS. What specifically do you write on the connection part?
