@margoperriello5978, Fantastic job! Yesterday was challenging for me too. I've not done regular exercise for a while. So I ended up modifying what I couldn't handle. My arm strength is simply terrible, but also my body strength in general. But over the past couple of months I'm seeing improvement. This belly fat burn challenge is the first exercise videos I've been able to do. I couldn't handle anything more than walking at first. So you're not alone! If you find you can't do something, just make an adjustment that works for where you're at. Over time as muscle strength returns you'll be able to handle more! Keep up the great work! By God's grace half way point is conquered!! 🤗 God bless you and keep you always Margo! 🙂

Day #5 accomplished! I did my walk early this morning and then gave my muscles plenty of time to recover, but doing today's video I'm definitely feeling it! Short videos or not, my heart rate goes up, and then I'm fine after I have a chance to sit for a while. I'm not sure if I'll be able to get through all 10 days in a row or if I'll need to rest a day at some point, but my body is in better shape compared to 2 months ago! Today is Gabriel's 15th birthday, but we're doing his party tomorrow instead. I'm pausing the green detox, and then after my son's party I'm planning to start over, following everything exactly, plus adding cinnamon and curcumin. I've been steadily losing a little weight. This morning I weighed in at 167.2lbs! That's down 13.3lbs in 2 months from tomorrow! Praise God! God bless and keep you and yours always Gaby and Mere! 🙂

@@MeredithShirkandSvelteTraining I went to the graduation party Saturday and then Sunday was another one. The only thing I ate at the party Sunday was a good size serving of fruits and vegetables, nothing else. I knew Gabriel's party was coming up, so I chose to avoid cake and other things, but I really wanted a cookie and chocolate covered strawberries Saturday. But we left before I gave into temptation. Lol I didn't have a clue what food to make for Gabe's party, but I decided to not do any cooking. I'm putting out fresh fruit and vegetables, lunchmeat, salami, cheese (including goat cheese and cranberry goat cheese), crackers, tortilla chips with salsa and guacamole and pita chips. And Jim bought cake and ice cream. I'll have a little bit of that, knowing that I chose not to have that stuff over the weekend. But, I'll definitely be taking 2 capsules of sugar 2 fiber first, plus my cinnamon extract and cayenne pepper and ALA. I'm hoping to reach 7 days in a row. That might be a good point to give my body rest, and then continue. Some people can skip a day and then do both the next day, but I'm not going to even attempt that! But, maybe someday I can by God's grace. In the meantime, I'm excited and thankful! God bless and have a restful night Mere! 🙂

@@MeredithShirkandSvelteTraining Thanks Mere! It was a successful party. We had quite a bit of leftovers, which was nice. Yesterday was a good day but left me physically tired. My body still hasn't recovered yet from completing the 5th day of the challenge. But yesterday I went with Sandy to the farmhouse and helped her load and unload her car again. She has to be finished by Monday. I've been praying for guidance to help her, and God has been answering that! I'm trying to get her switched to a water pill that doesn't remove potassium, as her's does. I need to help her get her digestion improved, so she's not taking massive doses of magnesium oxide right before bed, making potassium drop more. And I'm working on making a recipe she can rub on her legs and feet to reduce water weight and pain, but I'll need to replace some of my essential oils. I'm pretty sure my lemon is getting too old, and over time they oxidize. She has very little family and lives alone, so she doesn't get much help. Her birthday is Saturday, and I'm going back to help her Saturday. So my goal is to have things ready by then, to help her until her doctor's appointment next week. I got home yesterday around 2pm and made my day one shake, but added bone broth instead of water. And after I finished the first half I ended up taking a nap. My muscles are recovering but it's taking time. I think going forward, it might be a good idea for me to do every other day, instead of pushing myself as hard as I did. I've been chewing on what coach Greg said, recovery being just as important as the exercise. I still can't handle that much yet, but definitely improving. So it would take me twice as long to finish a challenge, but it's more important that I do finish. I do have a question. Is there a reason why green apple and grapes are specifically mentioned in the recipes? I was told the green ones have less nutrients compared to other colors, so I don't buy them. I always buy red, black or purple grapes, and either red apples or a multi colored variety. Red bell peppers have the most vitamin C, so I try to get those more often than green ones...etc. Do I have to have the green ones in order for it to qualify as following exactly, or would it be fine to use other colors? I could buy enough of the green stuff for my recipes, as needed, but if it's not critical, then I'll just not purchase the green ones. Your recipes are very intentional, so if you had a good reason to add green apple/grapes, I would get them. I didn't check my glucose as frequently as I was going to yesterday, but I was pleasantly surprised that the tbsp of cinnamon I added to my shake yesterday seemed to be sufficient in preventing a large sugar spike. I'm thinking about adding my multivitamin, vitamin C, magnesium and potassium to it as well. The curcumin helped a lot, and I didn't have brain fog issues yesterday, just tired physically. I fell behind on the challenge due to my schedule, but I hammered out Day 3 ,4 and 5 right before midnight! Now I feel I can give myself a pat on the back. These challenges really had me sweating and my core and quads were feeling it. Thank you all for the beautiful scenery and motivation to make this an awesome summer!
