As a trained scientist and outdoor lover, I enjoy including understanding of the mind-body connection into class, as well as an appreciation of nature! I fell in love with yoga for all the ways it inspires connection with others, nature, our bodies, and our highest selves.
One of my main loves is meditation, and I have devoted many years to training to guide it. I am a registered yoga teacher 500 (and also a certified experienced teacher), certified continuing education provider, as well as certified in teaching iRest Yoga Nidra Meditation (iRest.org).
I love how with awareness a yoga practice can really meet your needs and energy, and enjoy teaching a variety practices: Yin Yoga, Restorative, Vinyasa Flow, Hatha, and Meditation.
My specialty is teaching how to integrate mindfulness practically into everyday life in the workplace, athletics, and at home, and I often host how-to workshops, team-building exercises, and lectures on the topic. Join me! Aloha.
