Rick B. Yes yes and yes. This was PLANNED. And he had help or support from NK. I just know that the mistress knew it was going to happen. It's a shame she will probably always be walking free.

She has such great points he is always blaming everyone else. One min he says Shannan never exploded the next he says she would go from 1 to 1000 in a min. It’s all about making him look better. I honestly don’t think he gets theirs nothing he could say that any normal person would not know he is the killer he could of walked out he could of gotten a divorce he CHOOSE TO KILL HIS FAMILY. HE IS NOT A GOOD PERSON NO MATTER HOW HE TRIES TO TWIST IT.

Somehow, in his brain, he thinks he less culpable if he says he didn’t know what he was doing, and something was controlling his actions, instead of admitting he wanted to get out of his family responsibilities to be with NK. That is the real reason and no one ever challenges him on that. He didn’t see any more use for Shannan or the girls, didn’t want the debt, didn’t want a baby boy, he was just over it. He also wanted to keep his sterling reputation as a great guy, good ole rock steady Chris. But it wasn’t only rage, it was planned so HE could have a “better” life with NK. He was living in a fantasy of sex and lust and money with NK. I’m glad he will grow old in prison with no comforts only steel, concrete, fights, and very bad food. He is a young man, early thirties so he will live longer in prison than he ever did as a free man. He will never ever realize just what he lost by his own two hands. Pitiful, unfeeling, narcissistic lonely man.

So true. Chris blames all wrong on others i.e. Shanann. He tears up for himself and what he could have had. Not what he took from his loving wife and children.

Chances are, she knew on some level all along that he was far from normal. She just didn't understand what covert narcissism is, nor what they are capable of. You can bet that it was one of her internal missions to "help" him with the end goal of "fixing" him

I think she had some idea - she did speak to that attorney in a restaurant about divorce (if what that guy said was true) earlier in the year, but it was a casual conversation not a consultation, and it appears she did not move forward with plans to divorce. I think Shannan suspected Watts of cheating before but she did not seem to have discussed any of this with her friends or they would have said so after her death. We know she confided in them during the last week of her life via her texts etc, and how distressed she was - in Arizona as well. Maybe in the past she had suspicions but no proof so didn't tell anybody. I remember in one text while she was in NC with the kids and Watts had been ignoring her texts and calls and was short with her when he did talk to her, he said he had been tired.......Shannan responded "You are tried from playing"........so she suspected something. And Shannans mom sensed something - they all saw how different he acted towards Shannan and the kids, his coldness etc, and Shannans mom did not want her to return to NC with him.......

Me too-good grief, so many do not see these ppl for what they are. The Narcs just go happily along-free as a bird to carry on

I'm sure there was many red flags at times, but the narcissists has away of making us think they were just having a bad day! The unbelievable, over the top make-up after a argument, is what their Best at! So, I seen mine narc as being under a lot of pressure. Usually, he was great for six months or so and than we could feel the energy changing in the air...walking in egg shells until he vented... cycle was over & over. When I decided Time for divorce and we went to counseling, he knew how to play the "I'm Bi-Polar Card"! Which the Doctors made me feel guilty, if I left him in his condition! He had played this card on his first wife & no one ever told me. All his friends that became my friends before we got married new his state but chose not to share with me!

@@juanitarichards1074 She also commented when he wasn't answering her text while she was in NC, that while hi was single playing the field, she was in NC with the girls.

yeah! In the interrogation room with his dad after he detailed the location of the bodies, he said 'the problem is i dont know if they *the detectives* are even going to believe me'. No empathy or remorse, just 1000% attention to protecting his mask.

He just doesn’t sounded really affected or hurt by his actions. Does he even understand he murdered his wife and three kids with his own hands? He doesn’t talk about his family like they were human beings. He really is not in touch with his feelings or anybody else’s. The fact he asked his lawyers to make contact with NK and even visit her shows where his mind was at the time

It's amazing how much more clearly you can see the big picture of what happened, isn't it? Someone here recently commented... This channel really should be "required watching," before being allowed to offer opinions on the murders, or the case in general.

Chris Watts is good at what he does. He can get people to feel sympathy for him and give the impression of being a non-threatening really nice guy.

These signs can take years of experience or knowledge to realize. If you grew up with narc parents you think the behavior is normal. Just like it's normalized to forgive someone for cheating in our society, most of us know now that if someone can cheat they dont care about you nearly as much as they pretend to care about you. You don't know until you know and even then your gaslit by everyone whose still in the dark or abusive themselves. It sucks.

I agree. He only had so much time and he planned a lot more but time wasn't on his side. I definitely think he killed the girls at home and the black garbage bags, 2 of them were for them. Walking up those stairs were right out in the open, if his co workers drove up early he would have been screwed. I also think he put them in the tanks separately because the levels may have shown something was different as they had monitors, so he figured this would not register as much as two. Just my ideas. :)

Plus his first story was SW killed them in the house..smother them.. I don't believe she climbed into bed with bra on..many women have caught on to that..plus in the first interview with lady..he was asked how do you think or what could have happened and he said She could have been tricked into a trap by someone ( or something like that) That's why I think I was in the basement??? also

Part of my fixation on this case is how similar my ex is to Chris and I'm trying to see what signs Chris may have given before he went to such horrific lengths to "move on". I share a child with my ex narc and I worry constantly about something awful happening. My ex is a covert narc; I'm always looking for clues on his mindset. It's nearly impossible to read him. He lies about EVERYTHING

Tanja, I lived for 8 years with a narc, but I never knew what was wrong with HIM until this case. I'd always thought something was wrong with ME. He would do things right in front of me and tell me he wasn't doing them, and that I was crazy. One would think one wouldn't put up with such BS, but I had a little girl and stayed longer than I should have. After I left him, I looked 10 years younger and so much happier in pictures I have. It's really quite amazing.

I want to know the same. My ex won’t leave me alone, but yet he doesn’t love me. He just needs me to do things for him, and he keeps me for supply.

​@@marib.52380 Look, every time you allow a stage-9 cling-on narcissist (no, that's *not* a clinical term!) back into your life - you make it slightly more difficult to extricate yourself from the situation. If you want out, you have to make it crystal clear that you do not want to be near them. You clearly know you deserve better so if you don't have children together - please, _please_ do yourself the favour of getting him out of your life. I once had a covert narcissist boyfriend and he was extremely difficult to get rid of, largely because I broke up with _him_ the final time. Nevertheless, ever since I've made it *very well known* that there will be severe consequences for him if he were ever to contact me again, he hasn't. That said, I have moved quite some way away from where I used to live, changed my phone number, acquired a different handle on all social media and used the most unpleasant but ethical leverage against him I could think of. It's still been worth it.

Yeah but for someone like him he would likely see his family as an extension of himself thereby they couldn't POSSIBLY have bore any responsibility for anything especially when they had her to blame. In a way its easier for him to blame shannan for everything than it is to admit that his mother more so than anyone is capable of being this vile shitty person, deny deny deny scapegoat and dilute seems to be a repetitive pattern for this entire family!

I did too. I've heard his anger, condescending statements, and pure contempt. Each time he does it I get a chill. I so wish SW did not hide so much of her life. There is no way she never saw his mask slip and I believe the girls saw glimpses of it as well.

@Van Helsing - when Shanann was in N. Carolina, Chris sent her a photo of a doll with a sheet pulled up over her head with only the feet showing. He claimed that one of the girls had posed the doll. It was pretty creepy to say the least.

Exactly, I know I was afraid of my dad, he wasn't abusive but meant business. We NEVER talked back to him, ever. He didn't yell much... he didn't Chris was a muscular man, he's would be scary to a little kid when he went on a rant. II assume they saw past the mask a few times. Could be why they favored her so much, they could feel the difference between their fake dad and their loving mother. There's no comparison, he was and is inhumane, a psychopath. He need to spend the rest of his life where he is. (I understand he's tired of prison and wants to get out now, seriously.) That tells me a lot about his mental state; he still doesn't understand the loss like we would feel it, it's in the past, God has forgiven him. Magical thinking strikes again. 😎

The professionals who are so literate with the facts and emotionally are very rare and I think I can tell as I suffer from childhood-trauma and tons of narc-abuse in friendships resulting in c-ptsd breakdown age 42 just when my child was on his own feet.... Sorry got longer than intendet but I heard you in another video mentioning c-ptsd - would be great to have videos from you also about specifically these types of psychological injuries over long periods of time and about finding ways to heal - because it is curable I believe so! Hi, One of the Sniffer Dogs is trained to fish out the scent to a "Struggle" not only Death.. so it is interesting that they allerted in Bella's room where the Book and Rock were, and also alerted in the Basement to struggle as well...Thought your point was interesting I tend to put a lot of faith in the Dogs, as My father was a Police Chief and Trained The Dogs as well.
