This is literally our favorite workout structure at IBX Running, BOIL THE FROG!! We are starting slow, and just increasing the speed bit by bit. Before you know it, you'll be cooked!
25 minutes of run and recovery intervals
All speeds and inclines are suggestions. Please stay safe and within your comfort zone!

Happy Monday! I'm excited Did 2 one hour runs back to back this weekend so this is just what I needed today. I used to be a marathon runner and 6 years ago I stopped cold turkey cause life happened and it's been a long time since I felt comfortable in my skin. Ii found your workouts a couple months ago and I decided to bite the bullet and hit the treadmill. And thanks to you I've reignited my love for running again. I'm currently been running twice a week but I went from barely doing 20 to now being able to complete 4 if your 60 minute works back to back. I'm no where near where was I was years ago, but the fact I'm running has been so therapeutic for me. I decided I was going to increase to 3 times a week but knew I needed to something shorter today and I woke up today and you posted this. Anyway. Just wanted to say thank you and I'm glad I found you.

This was tough! Glad you started counting backwards because at interval 14 my whole body was screaming at me to stop. 🥵 I didn't increase speed from intervals 15 to 17, so, there is room for improvement. Thanks for keeping us going! ❤ Favorite phrase you said: "this workout is not for chumps, is for champs." 😅

Awesome run!! I wanted to quit 2 minutes till the end but then you said "choose your moment". I kept repeating that and telling myself this is my moment...i made it to the end without stopping. Thank you Rachel for all your encouraging words!! Good job everyone ❤

Thank you for your posts!! At 27 weeks pregnant now and this was hard. I was only able to run first block, second I modified to increase hills each time upto 10 incline. Will come back to this postpartum! 😅

I love this channel and enjoy the workouts is there any way you could list what the workout consists of (in more detail) in the description. I notice it’s there on a few occasions. I change it up depending on lots of factors and it would make it easier to choose which to do on a particular day, especially when I’m in a time crunch. ❤

This was an awesome workout! I picked it bc i knew it would be hard - usually the phrase goes "eat the frog first" 🐸 i.e. do the hardest thing at the start of the day. I did this at the end of the day and loved it - felt it that second to last interval (at the max mph) but pushed through 🎉

Love it! Thanks for explaining what Boil the Frog meant lol. I did this one and then did a 30 minute tempo series and it was the best combination! 💜 My first marathon is in 5 days - I give a HUGE amount of my running success to these workouts and you being such a motivational coach Rachel!

Started at 5.5 and ended at 7.5 and 0.5 incline and def hit and miss visit from the grim reaper 🎉😢😅

We just ran for 25 minutes, y’all! Increasing by one made it barely noticeable. I even added an extra .2 at the end for added sass. Mhm!
