Thank you. Thank you. Thank you for this video and info in description! Used the all the provided links to replace the entire hydraulic clutch system in my 85 c20. Only thing I did different was bench bleed the system. To be honest I uninstalled everything intact as I could not get it to bleed once I had everything put in. I think that was because my drive way is a rather steep incline.. but once I actuated the slave all the bubbles came out of the reservoir. All was good to go after that! Thanks again. So @JCustomFab, I have a series of questions about your engine and trans setup. So I see it's an LS engine and I'm guessing that's the sm465 behind it? If it is the sm465 can you please tell me what you used for a pilot bearing and motor mounts and on a scale of 1-10 how difficult was it mating the ls to the factory 4 speed

I'm doing same job however I hate the plastic line on the master to slave cylinder and planning to go with an fittings...the pin in connection points in my opinion are lame... and prone to leaking... plastic line also can melt easy if it comes in to contact with exhaust....I have a 1992 Chevy Silverado 1500 4x4 which I use to pull my home made toy hauler camper holding my 1959 VW bug and 1993 Harley Chopper plus a basic tool shop compleat with generator and welding equipment and plasma as well as air compressor...so a reliable clutch is necessary

So I just picked up an '86 K5 and I picked up all those same parts, actually what I want to know about is that spring that you mentioned on the clutch pedal at about 3 and a half minutes in, I'm missing that, would you happen to have a part number on that? I'll try to research it also, thank you

So I’m 17 just bought my new truck the clutch works perfectly fine but the problem is, is that if I accidentally bump the clutch peddle some type of rod will fall out and I’ll have to get out and put it back in how do I fix that? Also do you think you could help me with it I mean maybe a phone call?

Is it the rod that goes from the clutch master cylinder to the pedal?

If it is the one form the clutch master cylinder to the pedal then look under your dash and there should be a washer and a cotter pin holding it in

Anybody can put the pieces together. The hard part is bleeding the system.You showed nothing about that and that's where all the issues are .

I had issues bleeding the system myself. I ended up removing the entire system intact and bench bleeding it by pushing in the rod in slave with reservoir tip removed. Actuated clutch rod and slave rod and it behaved like it was a mechanical link. Reinstalled everything intact as a sealed system. Worked like a charm.
