He had some nerve disrespecting his neighbors planting corpses on their property. They had no idea. Imagine if they had sold their properties, years later it would seem as if the former owner had committed and hid crimes. Good thing that didn't happen. And bless Jack the Drifter who stuck to his story and told the truth = and who wanted to stay out of legal trouble.

Faye, in an interview from prison, made a comment that she shouldn't be responsible for her husband's crimes. Then said after a pause, 'IF he done it' I always thought she in the least knew and helped him, but didn't actually do the murder, but when she said that it sent a chill downy spine. I always think of the quote from the Sherlock Holmes stories: "“Good heavens!” I cried. “Who would associate crime with these dear old homesteads?” “They always fill me with a certain horror. It is my belief, Watson, founded upon my experience, that the lowest and vilest alleys in London do not present a more dreadful record of sin than does the smiling and beautiful countryside.” “You horrify me!” “But the reason is very obvious. The pressure of public opinion can do in the town what the law cannot accomplish. There is no lane so vile that the scream of a tortured child, or the thud of a drunkard’s blow, does not beget sympathy and indignation among the neighbours, and then the whole machinery of justice is ever so close that a word of complaint can set it going, and there is but a step between the crime and the dock. But look at these lonely houses, each in its own fields, filled for the most part with poor ignorant folk who know little of the law. Think of the deeds of hellish cruelty, the hidden wickedness which may go on, year in, year out, in such places, and none the wiser."

I think people wish to believe that people who appear to be like them are capable of evil. Christians, however, should believe, because the scriptures tell them that evil masquerades as sheep in wolves clothing. Do they read their bibles? Maybe the read them, but simply disbelieve. They are convinced that belong to a superior culture and that is why they are easily deceived.

Your Country already has the highest number of prisoners in the World & the highest reoffending rates too so your kinda heading that way anyway. It's just a shame your jails are more focused on generating profits for the private owners than rehabilitation.

Faye's guilt was nowhere near, "beyond a reasonable doubt". The men were all shot with the same calibre rifle in the same place. Remember what he did to Jack? It was an identikit of these killings, except for some strange reason he didn't kill him. Faye wasn't present and had to role in enticing him to the barn. The men were transients so she wouldn't have had reason to be suspicious about their leaving. Whatever the lack of evidence against her, Faye's son was the most acurate. He said her whole understanding of the world was that her husband was to be honoured and obeyed. If she knew, then he would have told her he was right to do it. Personally, I think she lived her life in a zone of denial. I don't think she deserved the death penalty for either reason.

I am pretty sure I have watched and commented on this video before, and at the risk of repeating myself, but, being aged or even old has nothing to do with being a criminal, some of the worst are older, and that’s because they are a bit worldly wise and more importantly not got caught, so they carry on until either they die or make a mistake. As an older person myself I can honestly say that even with life being difficult I don’t think, under any circumstances, I could turn to crime, and I think for most of us “olds” that is the case, but younger people who get into trouble early on usually stay in a life of crime, and only the minority (no matter what the do-gooder brigade say) turn their lives around. Two things I got from this video, 1) crime is as prevalent in rural Missouri as anywhere and 2) I finally know where the Simpsons live, or do I?. You have to feel sorry for the Copeland family, but to think that Faye didn’t know what was occurring was out of love at best and naivety at worst.

Sounds a lot like the Bender family, who killed from 1869-1872....their killing method was much less cumbersome and a lot quicker! 🔨

There has never been the " quiet town, where things like this, just don't happen" or whatever was said. There have never been places like that I just think these narrators wanna shock the listener, we might live on a quiet street but no way is there anywhere, where things like this dont happen. Where I live, a murder would be out of the ordinary, obviously but I am 100% sure that Worcester has had a murder in the past. Lights up a room Loved by all The glue that holds the family together.... And other such strange phrases these shows use... they obviously must have lived extremely sheltered lives growing up

Absolutely, anyone who believes that woman knew nothing has no sense. Whatsoever. If it walks like a duck , if it quacks like a duck, folks, it's a duck. Not a chicken. A duck.

Janice Riley-Sabanne Im No Chef Get Me Out Of Here no. I heard about this years ago. If her lawyer was worth a shit, all they had to say is the ones who are X'ed out are the ones he told her he didn't want to allow to come back to the farm. A decent lawyer should have gotten her off of that. Not saying she was innocent or guilty, but with a decent lawyer she should NOT have been convicted.

I don't get why everybody is so shocked about their age? This didn't start in their 70s, they had been doing that for decades. That means they started when they were young. The son did say the dad would be in jail for his check fraud n the mom would lie n say he was gone somewhere. Even the kids knew their dad wasn't shit. I don't care if they were an old school couple,so was my great grandparents n great aunt n uncle, but none of them made a move their wives didn't know about. You aren't married to somebody that long and not know them. I will never believe Faye didn't know about the bodies. She washed their clothes n put their initials in them. I'm sure when they would not show up for breakfast she didn't ask a question. If she didn't it's because she knew. I wouldn't be surprised if she helped him move the bodies then went to X them from her list. They both knew and she could've given them the locations of the rest so they can be returned to their families. That makes her just as evil as him n I don't feel sorry for either of their psycho asses. Too bad they didn't suffer more. I'm sure those dead bodies stuffed in Wells, under barn floors and wherever else had an uncomfortable time rotting there...hopefully their in hell......Shannon b
