I'm not even a parent and feel the same

Same my daughter is just 18 months and it terrifies me to think what kind of sh*t show the world will be in 18yrs from now. I also have 17yr old twin boys who are busy entering that young adult life where they think they now everything and sending them out into the world is scary. To think they are only one generation younger than me and seeing the world they inhabit compared to the relatively simple life we had without the impact of social media on our teen lives is just mind blowing.

I know I'm looking at my 9 year old daughter thinking 'holy cow', but at least we're their Moms and we'll do our best for them and we are aware of this situation.

They are allowing grown men, by legal definition, to sleep with their very underage daughter...that goes beyond emotional abuse. That is very much a CPS matter. This poor girl had an abortion at just 14...that's crazy, at 14 her biggest worry should be worrying about freshman year in highschool...not about an unplanned pregnancy who's father is an adult.

For me was emotional abuse more worst then physically abuse, a punch stop hurting but a wound on your soul last forever. My husband had worked so hard that my wounds transform in scares , piece by piece and I’m not healed till today. So often you feel so worthless and nobody can loves you , because the humans that should love you the most hate you breaks you

Alleged Cluster B Personality Disorder abuse isn't "just" emotional abuse and it needs to have legal precedent--someone needs to be the good attorney fighting these good fights with the reality of the data of Narcissistic Abuse, Borderline Abuse, Histrionic Abuse, Sociopathic/Psychopathic/Antisocial Abuse. These are already factors in child custody cases, and must be used in child abuse cases as well. These are *real* problems that people from these types of families have to deal with and yet, Cluster B Personality Disorder aren't taught for more than a couple days at university, so most psychologists and psychiatrists cannot even recognize Cluster B Personality Disorders (which are completely untreatable with the exception of about 50% of Borderlines) or the victims of their abuse even when the signs are clear as day in front of their faces. This MUST change because of the outsize harm and damage these individuals due to society and their own families.

It is a legal issue, the state laws are so vague when it comes to emotional and financial abuse. If laws are vague then the county/district attorneys can’t enforce a removal. Everyone wants to blame CPS, but they can only do what the laws allow them to do. People need to lobby their legislators, it’s unfortunate that parents rights group lobby against it.

I know of a few families that have horrible living conditions and CPS hasn’t done a damn thing. The child needs to be put in another home but because the child is not abused, CPS doesn’t see a problem..

So true when I was her age I wanted to get my belly button pierced and get the dream catcher, feather, and infinity tattoo because they where very popular and I wanted them so bad but thank god for my mom for not allowing me to do any of that now that I’m 24👍🏻

Exactly....I'm waiting until I'm about in my 30's to get a tattoo, I've wanted one so bad since I was 18 but my style always changes, and I'm super indecisive. So I'm not getting one until I feel I've matured more. Having over protective parents may be a pain but I'm so grateful I have caring parents.

My daughter is the same way and she is off college this fall. She still loves anime and is a 4th yr Japanese student now. So, her love of manga inspired her to go for a double major. Business and Japanese. I can’t get my daughter to wear anything but a hoodie. lol.

My oldest daughter, 15, had a TikTok account. She upload three videos on it and after seeing the comments on those, decided to delete her account. "To many weird and idiotic people. Don't need that." Her words. Oh and she also LOVES Anime, Manga, oversized hoodies and gothic.😎 I'm so frickin proud of her ☺️

And I don't have the capacity to recognize the real consequences that can come with the things that they share online at least until they don't learn until it's too late social media is killing all of us everybody so used to talking over a phone nobody can even have a face-to-face conversation anymore without feeling uncomfortable I've never heard of so many people having social anxietyAs I do nowadays I have social anxiety because they're so used to being able to hide behind the screen it's a horrible cycle

I never said Danielle specifically...I said too many girls are posting sexually explicit or suggestive pics for the sake of more views...it's a good feeling when people praise you for looking so beautiful or having a great body...and that causes lots of young ladies an array of different feelings. My uncle died from skin cancer and he always wore sunscreen, never had a sunburn his entire life. It’s very weird, we don’t get it.

Not all of these deformed cells result in malignant cancer and an "outer force" is not always needed for cells to degenerate. This is why people who never had a sunburn get skin cancer, or people who never smoked get lung cancer. Sometimes it's genetic disposition, sometimes there is no other reason than deformed cells, which can happen without having a certain trigger. It's hard to deal with it when you can't find someone to blame, closure and acceptance are easier with a "bad guy". But don't listen to this other person claiming the sun screen caused his cancer. She is not a doctor and I'm sure she hasn't performed an autopsy or has studies to back up this freak claim, especially in your personal case. I'm sorry for your loss.

Not to be on the side of CPS but considering how public their lives are they probably get calls daily. Even if her father called there may have been multiple false claims by callers saying they are her dad by now.

Gosh if shes truly trying to reach out for help she truly needs someone to step in for this child. I think she needs to be saved whether she wants to be out or not. This girl doesn't deserve to be exploited and used like this by not only her "mother" (and I use that word loosely here) and so many other adults who are behind the scenes. Its so sickening and so very very sad.
