Facts verse is a channel that seemingly just copies the content of others and wraps it inside of low-effort videos for profit. There seems to be no editorializing, sourcing, or transformation of the original content whatsoever. Astonishingly, it still gets the facts wrong. Hopefully this video “edutains”; that is, educates and entertains.

10:20 I can kinda explain this one. A lotta pokémon are based on yōkai, supernatural beings in Japanese folklore. One such yōkai is the baku (BAH-koo, not bah-KOO). In turn, this yōkai was based on the tapirs of South America. The baku had a habit of eating people’s dreams, which is why “Dream Eater” is one of Drowzee’s attacks.

I am a pretty big fan of Pokémon as a whole and let me say that “happiness level” does not exist. Attack and Defense do, but even then they are called attack and Defense statistics not levels. A Pokemon will have happiness ranging from 0-255 based on how well they are treated by the trainer in the games.
