Join me this week to learn the basics of meditation. I’ll introduce you to a simple technique along with some top-tips for a successful meditation practice.
Meditation is a simple yet powerful way to calm a stressed, anxious or busy mind and a regular meditation practice can help you:
- Deal with stress, anxiety and negative emotions
- Develop better self-awareness
- Be more present
- Lower your blood pressure
- Improve your quality of sleep
Pretty amazing right?!
The technique I introduce you to is a breath-focussed meditation. I forgot to mention in the video that it’s quite normal for it to feel a bit weird to focus on your breath - especially if it’s something you’re completely new to. But the more you do it the easier (and less weird) it becomes. If it feels odd, just remind yourself that you can breathe and know that you can always take a break and come back to the meditation whenever you feel ready.
